Infinite Evolution: Dominating The Apocalypse With My God Tier Items
Chapter 93: The Law of The Skies
Elaine stood on the wind, her body encased by a winter-blue gleaming aura.
The wind raged around her, as her eyes burned colder, brighter.
This was it!
The true Call of the Frozen, the true prowess of a Monarch-grade skill comprehended on the principle of death.
By using her body as a tether, she could tap into the true power of cold and death, by assimilating the essence of cold and death from the Frozen.
Call of the Frozen was more than a necromancer-type skill; it ignited her power far beyond what was meant possible.
All of her peers were nerfed in one way or another, unable to access the true potential of their gene skills.
There was Jack, with a high-class Royal-grade skill, one that allowed him to embody the physique of a Titan-grade human.
But he truly couldn’t use his power to the fullest, all because his base physique was too weak to bear it all.
And then there was Seth, who could become the strongest awakener, arguably in the whole of the cosmos, within the blink of an eye.
He just had to pick up a handful of the highest-grade, strongest weapons there were, arm himself to the teeth, and enhance them — not to mention the fact that he still HAD ANOTHER MONARCH-GRADE GENE SKILL!
But the reality is that he was restricted due to his poor access to higher-grade weapons, which hopefully the flash sale system would solve. There was also the fact that his Asura body needed to grow before his Asura gene lineage skills could also grow more lethal.
Meanwhile, Elaine was different. While she was limited to the amount and quality of dead she could call into being Frozen, she was still absorbing the same cold essence of death from them.
So hence, while she had a lower duration of time accessing this force after absorption, her prowess gained while accessing this force wasn’t dense.
Though it was a given she needed experience and time to master more, the fact remained that in this state, she could probably face at least a mid-grade Noble creature.
The air stilled over, even the atmosphere seemed to be affected by the silver cold that filtered into the air.
The sea of trees beneath her began to freeze, the flow crackled and crusted over as a dark-colored frost spread from beneath her.
Even in the distance, both Seth and Jack, who were finishing their foes, sensed this chill. And even if they weren’t the main focus of her killing intent, they could feel black streaks wafted by the dark ice sink into their bones, and immediately their vitality took a chink.
Seth’s heart raced. This energy — it was similar to the energy his donned Grim Armor gave off. He knew what it was: Death essence, though mixed with something, he could still sense the uncanny semblance.
Elaine’s hands moved, rising, her movement alone causing the intangible, indistinguishable fabric of space to freeze and crack, layering on itself.
Her eyes pulsed with death’s chill, and even the ravenous hoard seemed to slow their charge a bit.
For the first time, the dauntless, rabid Viagra Bulls, who always seemed unfazed by anything, slowed down.
In the face of the petrifying chill of death, their crimson eyes dimmed with hesitation.
But Elaine paid them no heed. Right now, her mind was overwhelmed by the boundless power she had just gained.
Every second she remained in this state was meant to be damaging to her vitality. After all, she was playing with the very principle essence of death.
But the gene of the human race within her slowly adapted to the chill. With each cell dying, another resurfaced, bearing a stronger affinity to this foreign energy.
In essence, each breath she drew in this state evolved her body in tandem. She was in a state of endless growth, by channeling her gene skill.
Meaning each time she used this overpowered ability, she grew stronger at zero cost!
Her eyes flashed, her sparse, silky tattered robes that still provided some semblance of privacy fluttered.
She waved her hands...
A chill poured. She didn’t even try — she just willed it, and the essence of death and cold responded.
The wind billowed, carrying a dark chill. A dense fog of chill spiraled around the hoard before her.
The steel-scaled Viagra Bulls roared and growled, ready to resist — but they didn’t even see it coming.
They had barely taken any action, barely reacted, and with a slight chilly gust caressing their mighty frames, their lives were snuffed out.
Their frames stilled and cracked dry, every bit of moisture the Origin beasts had carried frozen dead.
And ethereal blue sparks erupted, and the entire hoard burst into a sea of sparkling frost flakes. The stream funneled through the air, channeling into Elaine’s figure.
She took a deep breath as she basked in the baptism of the essence of death and cold.
She glanced at her hands and sighed. Well, she knew this wouldn’t go on forever.
The phenomenon died in that very second.
Her figure gracefully plummeted, her hair billowing as the constant rush of power settled.
The sheet of ice spread across the clearing retreated just as fast, the deathly cold in the air suddenly warming and diffusing.
The temperature settled, the tumultuous gusts died, and silence reigned...
Elaine’s expression remained cold as she stared at her hands. A smile almost cracked her ice-cold face.
The forest remained still, as though still reeling from the sight of witnessing a tiny fraction of the true power a Monarch-grade Awakened could output.
...
Across miles, someone else was experiencing a similar scenario...
Stormy clouds congealed, spawning in a spiral whirl, dangerous currents weaving within the center.
Uriel’s expression remained calm as he faced the hoard of silver-scaled bulls.
The aura they radiated was terrifying, baring their savage will as they barreled towards him in fury, sinister glints of horns cocked his way, sparkling.
Uriel’s essence brewed, funneling through the ethereal structure of his gene skill, manifesting its might.
The sky dimmed in response to this towering aura.
It had to... This aura was too familiar; it wafted with the principle of the heavenly daos themselves within.
Uriel had a rare gene skill type: essence-type gene skill.
A gene skill that manifested in the form of essence itself, composed of the very laws of a specific order.
There was one thing Uriel always got wrong: his abilities weren’t only about thunder or lightning.
Heck! His ancestor Zeus wasn’t the god of lightning or thunder.
That was a low-tier law...
Uriel’s gene skill held within it the Laws of the Skies!
