Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 50: Asking her to create a spell
Victor had barely finished speaking through the communicator before his vision blurred violently for a brief moment. A powerful wave of exhaustion crashed through his body with increasing intensity, causing every muscle to ache as though it had been torn apart repeatedly from the inside.
The mana pathways throughout his body burned with unbearable pain, as though molten metal had been forced directly through them. Even breathing carried a faint stinging sensation now.
The soldiers surrounding him immediately noticed the change in his condition. Their previously relieved expressions quickly transformed into anxiety after seeing the unnatural paleness spreading across his face. Several officers instinctively stepped closer while emergency personnel nearby hurried to prepare recovery equipment.
"Medical team is already on the way."
"Commander, please remain conscious."
"Should we prepare emergency stabilization medicine immediately?"
Victor slowly raised one hand and weakly gestured for them to stop speaking. Although exhaustion was overwhelming his body, his expression remained relatively calm despite the damage he had clearly suffered.
"There is no need."
However, before anyone could continue the conversation further, the atmosphere across the battlefield suddenly changed.
A deep explosion echoed throughout the sky.
Terrifying pressure descended upon the military base without warning. The clouds above the battlefield violently split apart as though some invisible force had torn open the heavens themselves. A streak of darkness shot downward from the sky like a falling meteor, carrying immense magical fluctuations powerful enough to distort the surrounding atmosphere.
Every soldier instinctively raised their head toward the sky.
Then countless expressions froze simultaneously.
A woman slowly descended from the heavens while surrounded by rotating dark mana circles that continuously pulsed around her body. Her long ocean blue hair fluttered behind her beautifully while dense magical power radiated outward in waves capable of making the air itself tremble. The surrounding mana fluctuations became unstable under her presence alone.
Even the remnants of corrupted energy left behind after the chimera’s destruction instantly dispersed the moment she appeared.
Luke unconsciously swallowed hard.
"Sage Rank..."
Nobody dared continue speaking loudly afterward.
The pressure radiating from the woman was not intentionally oppressive. However, her existence alone naturally forced weaker beings into silence. Every soldier present could instinctively feel the overwhelming difference between themselves and someone who stood at the peak of human magic.
Diana slowly landed beside Victor with graceful movements. The moment her ocean blue eyes settled upon his exhausted appearance, her beautiful brows immediately furrowed deeply with visible concern.
Without wasting even a second, she directly opened her spatial storage and removed a small golden potion bottle.
Gasps immediately erupted throughout the surrounding area.
Golden Healing Elixir.
The highest grade recovery medicines available within the Federation. Even high ranking military officials rarely possessed access to treasures of that level because of their terrifying value and rarity.
Yet Diana uncorked the bottle without hesitation.
She supported Victor carefully before holding the potion toward him.
"Drink this immediately."
Victor obediently accepted the potion without arguing. The moment the liquid entered his body, warm golden energy exploded throughout his mana circuits like a flood of healing light. The unbearable pain wracking his body rapidly faded while damaged muscles, torn tissues, and cracked mana pathways healed themselves at astonishing speed.
Several nearby soldiers stared blankly at the scene before them.
Others slowly revealed complicated expressions afterward.
An existence like Diana personally rushing across an active battlefield for Victor alone already carried terrifying implications. More importantly, she had casually used a treasure valuable enough to make powerful nobles fight desperately over ownership.
Meanwhile, Victor finally exhaled softly after enough strength returned to his body for him to stand properly again. Although some lingering exhaustion still remained, his condition had stabilized significantly compared to before.
He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck afterward.
"Hello, Princess."
Diana immediately narrowed her eyes at him.
"You dummy."
Her voice was not loud.
However, every soldier nearby instinctively lowered their heads even further after hearing her tone. Nobody dared interfere with the conversation between two individuals standing at such terrifying heights.
"How many times are you planning to make me worried?"
Victor coughed lightly before giving her a helpless smile.
"I am sorry about that."
His expression softened slightly afterward.
"I simply became excited after finally being able to test my full power properly."
Then the amusement gradually disappeared from his face.
His eyes slowly became serious again.
"However, we currently have something more important to discuss."
Diana immediately noticed the change in his tone. The playful atmosphere surrounding them disappeared almost instantly as her own expression became calmer and more focused.
Victor quietly turned toward the command building.
"Please follow me."
Without waiting for a response, he began walking toward the building while Diana calmly followed beside him. The battlefield remained eerily silent during the entire walk. Not a single soldier dared utter another word while watching the two figures disappear toward the command headquarters.
Meanwhile, William had already returned from his investigation within the wilderness.
The massive swordsman stood near the ruined defensive wall while silently holding his greatsword over one shoulder. His expression remained unusually grim.
He had found absolutely nothing.
No traces.
No mana signatures.
No hidden enemies.
Nothing at all.
Which only made the entire situation even more disturbing.
William slowly shifted his gaze toward Victor’s retreating figure. Earlier, he had personally witnessed the aftermath of Victor’s attack against the chimera. An A Rank monster had not merely been killed. It had been erased so completely that even residual mana contamination no longer existed afterward.
William had fought countless powerful enemies throughout his long life.
Yet for the first time in decades, he genuinely felt unable to understand another human being.
Inside the command office, Victor quietly closed the door behind them. The isolated room immediately became silent as outside noise faded completely away. Diana remained standing nearby while carefully observing him with thoughtful eyes.
Victor slowly turned around afterward.
Their gazes met directly.
Deep purple eyes faced ocean blue eyes within the quiet office.
For several moments, neither of them spoke.
Then Victor finally broke the silence.
"Diana."
His voice carried unusual seriousness now.
"Can you create a spell for me?"
Diana blinked once in surprise.
"A spell?"
Victor slowly stepped closer toward her while maintaining calm composure.
"I want a spell capable of creating an elemental avatar."
His purple eyes remained completely focused on hers as he continued speaking.
"I need complete movement control over the construct. The avatar should possess Sage Rank combat capability and remain active as long as my mana reserves and physical condition can sustain it."
The moment those words left his mouth, Diana’s expression completely changed.
Her heartbeat unconsciously accelerated.
A mythical spell.
This was no longer ordinary advanced magic.
Victor was requesting the creation of a true mythical class construct.
Such spells carried terrifying complexity, impossible requirements, and extremely dangerous consequences for the caster. Worse still, Victor himself possessed the terrible habit of completely ignoring common sense whenever experimenting with powerful magic.
For a brief moment, Diana almost lost focus while staring into his deep purple eyes.
Then she quickly coughed lightly and forced herself to regain composure.
"No."
Her voice immediately became firm and cold.
"I will not allow it."
