Chapter 63: The Favor and the Ambush

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city...

A black luxury sedan slowly rolled through the gates of Hilltop Villa District.

Inside sat two guests who had arrived from Wolong Mountain; they were Blake and Jade.

The moment they stepped out of the vehicle, the atmosphere around the villa seemed to change.

Blake stood tall with his hands behind his back. His expression remained calm, but there was a natural pressure surrounding him that ordinary people couldn’t possess, and beside him stood Jade.

She wore a simple white outfit that looked ordinary at first glance, yet it couldn’t conceal her beauty; Her long black hair flowed down her back like silk, her fair skin seemed almost flawless beneath the afternoon sunlight and her delicate features looked as though they had been carefully carved by an artist. Even without makeup, she was stunning enough to make people lose focus.

The moment Kai saw her, his eyes widened, he completely forgot himself.

His gaze lingered on Jade’s figure for a while, but the next second—

SMACK!

Sebastian slapped the back of his head so hard that Kai nearly stumbled forward.

"You idiot!"

Sebastian lowered his voice and glared at him. "That’s your cousin!"

Only then did Kai snap back to reality. His face immediately turned awkward.

Meanwhile, Blake had already noticed everything. A trace of disgust flashed through his eyes. This cousin of his truly lacked discipline, no wonder Uncle Sebastian constantly complained about him.

Fortunately, Jade didn’t seem to care, she simply looked around curiously. It had been years since she had left Wolong Mountain.

Compared to the quiet mountains, everything outside felt fresh and interesting.

"Brother Blake, is this the city?" Jade’s eyes sparkled.

"There are so many people." Blake nodded helplessly.

"You’ll have plenty of time to look around later."

"Let’s finish the mission first."

Soon, Sebastian respectfully welcomed the two into the villa.

The servants immediately brought tea and refreshments.

"Blake, Jade, please sit."

Sebastian’s attitude was completely different from how he treated others. Despite being worth billions, he didn’t dare put on any airs before clan members.

After everyone sat down, Sebastian immediately began explaining Lucas’s situation.

He spoke about the university incident; the humiliation Kai suffered, the expulsion, and the mysterious fortune Lucas suddenly acquired.

The more he spoke, the colder Kai’s expression became.

Every time he remembered those slaps, his hatred intensified.

However, before Sebastian could continue further, Blake interrupted him.

"Uncle Sebastian."

"Before we left, Brother Alistair instructed us to finish this matter quickly and return to the mountain."

"We don’t have much time."

Sebastian immediately nodded. "Understood."

It was understandable after all, even he had no intention of wasting time either. He immediately took out his phone and called several people. Within minutes, information began flowing back.

Unfortunately, Lucas hadn’t appeared at the university all morning. The people Sebastian arranged to watch the campus hadn’t seen him once.

Just as frustration began appearing on Kai’s face, a phone call arrived.

Sebastian answered immediately.

A smile slowly appeared on his face.

"Found him."

Kai instantly stood up. "Where is he?"

Sebastian hung up the phone. "A restaurant near the university district, he appears to be meeting two women."

Hearing this, Kai sneered. "Still in the mood to chase women."

"This bastard really doesn’t know what’s coming." Blake didn’t seem interested.

To him, this entire trip was little more than an errand.

An ordinary university student wasn’t worth his attention.

Still, since Alistair had personally assigned the task, he intended to complete it properly.

"Let’s go."

The group immediately headed outside.

Several minutes later, two luxury vehicles sped out of Hilltop Villa District and headed directly toward the restaurant.

---

At the same time, inside a renowned 5-star restaurant, the elegant restaurant buzzed with quiet conversations and the soft clinking of silverware against porcelain plates. Warm golden light spilled from crystal chandeliers above, creating a comfortable and refined atmosphere.

Seated by the large window was a sight that drew more than a few curious glances.

Lucas sat calmly between two exceptionally beautiful young women.

Across from him, Daisy and Debbie looked strikingly similar at first glance. Both possessed silky black hair that cascaded over their shoulders like flowing ink, smooth fair skin, and delicate features that could easily turn heads wherever they went. They had nice curves that can make every man gulp at first sight.

Yet each sister carried a unique charm of her own.

Daisy’s beauty was gentle and elegant. Her long black hair framed a soft oval face, and her bright eyes carried a natural warmth that made people feel comfortable around her. Even her nervousness added a certain tenderness to her appearance.

Debbie, on the other hand, possessed a colder and more mature beauty. Her sharp features, composed posture, and naturally serious expression gave her an air of quiet confidence. Yet at this moment, the tension hidden behind her eyes betrayed the anxiety she was desperately trying to conceal.

The waiter had already taken their orders and left.

For several moments, silence lingered over the table.

Daisy looked nervous. Debbie despite being older and more mature actually looked more nervous.

The sisters exchanged glance after glance, each waiting for the other to speak first.

Neither seemed willing to break the silence.

Meanwhile, Lucas watched their reactions with amusement.

He leisurely picked up his glass and took a sip of drink.

The corner of his lips lifted into a faint smile.

"You two invited me here."

He gently swirled the drink in his glass before setting it down.

"Yet you’re both acting like you’re being interrogated."

The joke immediately eased some of the tension. Daisy couldn’t help letting out a small laugh. Even Debbie’s stiff expression softened slightly, Lucas was really smooth with his words.

Still, beneath the table, her hands remained tightly clenched..She knew she couldn’t avoid the subject forever.

This lunch wasn’t simply a casual meal. It carried the hopes of her entire family. Their mother’s surgery. The operation that could save her life.

And whether it could proceed depended entirely on the man sitting before them.

Debbie drew a slow breath, her heart pounded loudly in her chest.

’I can do it!’

Gathering every ounce of courage she possessed, she finally raised her head and looked directly at Lucas.

"Mr. Lucas..." Her voice was slightly shaky.

"I actually invited you here today because my sister and I have a favor we want to ask."

The moment those words left her lips, the atmosphere at the table changed.

The smiles faded. The seriousness of the situation finally surfaced. Neither sister noticed.

Neither of them realized that danger had already arrived.

SCREECH!

A black SUV had stopped across the street that instant! And the doors opened one after another.

Men stepped out, their expressions were grim. Their movements were purposeful.

At the front stood Sebastian, a cruel smirk appeared on his face as he spotted Lucas sitting comfortably with the two sisters.

"There he is."

The men behind him followed his gaze. Without hesitation, they began moving toward the restaurant entrance.

Their gaze were cold and hostile as they got closer step by step, closer and closer.

Inside, Lucas remained seated, completely unaware—or perhaps completely unconcerned.

While Debbie was preparing to reveal her family’s desperate request...

Sebastian and the men he had brought were already heading straight toward him.
