Infinite Sharing System: Cultivating With My Sister In The Apocalypse
Chapter 108: Leaving
While the party got together and began chatting amongst themselves, especially Hanbi and Sierra, Xuan stood up and approached Gabriel.
There were a few things he wanted to apologize for before he left.
So once he got right in front of him, he decided to do just that.
"Sorry about earlier. We don’t usually attack everyone on sight."
Gabriel just rolled his eyes.
"I don’t care. I don’t hold any animosity against you, nor do I want your apologies. Just finish your conversations and leave my master’s tomb."
"Isn’t it a little bit boring being alone, though?" Xuan asked out of nowhere.
After a brief pause, he continued:
"Don’t get me wrong, I get that it’s your job and everything, but don’t you ever wanna take a step outside? For one, no one can even enter this place, because it’s sealed to everyone who doesn’t have a special physique like I do."
He would list a few more details, but honestly, he felt like that one detail was already enough.
"Basically, what I’m trying to get at is that you should have a talk with your master and skedaddle out of here. We could use someone like you, after all."
For a moment, it seemed like Gabriel was actually considering it.
But then, he shook his head.
"I appreciate the suggestion, but I’m fine as is."
"Suit yourself." Xuan shrugged, then gave him a nod. "Best of luck. See ya."
With that, Xuan approached his party, and after listening in to their weird conversation about girly stuff, he coughed once, interrupting them.
"Let’s leave, ladies. I’ve got to pay a visit to the toilet as soon as possible."
"Just shit on this fine marble," Yuelan suggested.
But instead of doing what she said, Xuan just went ahead and bonked her over the head, then grabbed her by the waist and hurtled her through the portal. Since she was tossed right into the ocean, she panicked and began swimming up, while also blowing bubbles like some octopus.
Seeing that, the others didn’t want to go through the same fate, so one by one, they entered the portal. Xuan could see their figures appearing on the other side one by one as they swam up to the surface. In the end, only he was left.
He gave this place a final look, but right as he was about to enter, he halted.
"When we came in, we rescued a kid, but he’s out there all alone. Could you go over there and check in on him?"
Not hearing back from him, Xuan turned around, only to see a slight smile on Gabriel’s face.
"Apostles blessed by the Three Eyed Angel are superior to other beings, mainly because we become a lost race called Moon Angels."
He put a hand on his chin and avoided Xuan’s gaze.
"We are tossed in a frozen realm until adulthood, so we grow up very quickly, and all our power is handed to us by our master. Still... I did not forget that day when you saved my life."
Xuan’s eyes widened at Gabriel’s words, but right as he was about to say something, he felt an invisible force of Qi push him directly through the portal, followed by the portal abruptly closing right in his face.
"I... Guguguu."
He was, in fact, not a toddler.
Instead, he was drowning.
So just like the panicked Yuelan, Xuan flapped his arms and began ascending to the top of the ocean, all the while realizing just how crazy that encounter had been.
The kid they had saved like an hour ago was now the apostle overseeing some kind of domain belonging to the Three Eyed Angel?
Jeez...
The traces of someone being in there must have been from a much younger Gabriel. That was the main reason why Xuan didn’t trust him too much.
Well, life was full of coincidences, so he just inwardly chuckled and finally resurfaced. To his surprise, he was nowhere near land.
At least, that was how it looked at first, until he saw a mountain peak in the distance. Figuring that was where the others went as well, Xuan began Void Stepping in that direction.
And just a few minutes later, he arrived at the very top of the mountain peak. His party was there, sure, but they were all wet and looking uncomfortable. Also, it didn’t help that this mountain peak was just one giant mountain peak in the middle of nowhere.
There was no actual island below.
"Heh... All of you look silly," Xuan chimed in.
"Says you. Look at your shirt, it’s all tangled and eww and stuff," Yuelan replied.
Hanbi, on the other hand, just scoffed.
"Sit down and be quiet. Sierra is focusing on the... what’s she focusing on again?"
Yuelan cleared her throat, then continued:
"She’s focusing on the vibrations of the ocean to see where the waves hit the land. Basically, she’s looking for the nearest dock or something."
"Ooh~ That’s pretty interesting. Alright then, I’ll just sit down," Xuan said.
But right as he was about to sit down, Yuelan threw a rock at him.
"Sit over by your own side. Hanbi’s tits are out, and Sierra seems to be feeling the breeze as well." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
At her words, Hanbi looked down, then suddenly covered her chest. Xuan felt a little sour that he didn’t manage to catch a glimpse of anything, but then again, he always had a chance.
He figured that after they settled down somewhere, he might finally try to make a move on her. Rather... he would try seducing her.
After all, he was sure she was naive enough to not know what love was, so that’s that.
Anyhow, Xuan sat down a bit further away, and then just stared at the ocean ahead. Living up here wouldn’t be so bad. He would just need to set up shelter and some way of getting food, and maybe, he could actually make this place real.
But then again, Xuan didn’t plan to stay on this planet for much longer. He was sure there were no shrines left, and it wasn’t like he really needed them. If he wanted to access the Void Realm where Adam was, he just had to think about it.
So, aside from some hidden treasures or something else, Xuan planned on straight up skipping Tier 2 and Tier 3 worlds. Instead, he wanted to enter a Tier 4, 5, or maybe 6 world. Since those worlds were considered a part of the Lower Heavens, he knew his progress would be explosive there.
And as it so happened, the Serene Blossom Valley sect was located in the Lower Heavens. Hanbi had already offered to take him there, so he could just use that invite to hop straight to that realm.
In short...
I’ll be leaving this world soon. I hope.
