Infinite Sharing System: Cultivating With My Sister In The Apocalypse
Chapter 96: Dungeon! [ 3 ]
Walking through the charred corpses, Xuan was pretty much unfazed.
He had long grown used to the cruelty of this new world, and he wasn’t going to judge Yuelan either.
After all, deep down, he couldn’t care a single bit about any of these people. Though it did make him wonder if Yuelan was of the evil alignment.
I don’t really have a way to check, but oh well, doesn’t matter.
As he entered the city through its gates, he saw dozens of people huddling behind buildings, and ’powerful’ cultivators who had already pissed themselves twice, probably.
"Don’t worry, we’re not here to harm you!" Hanbi yelled. "We’re just here for the dungeon!"
"Tell that to my husband you just killed!"
"Yeah! Get out of here!"
"Urgh..." Hanbi stepped back, turning to Sierra for help.
As if noticing her gaze, Sierra spoke:
"We don’t take innocent lives. In this case, those cultivators were out to kill us, so Yuelan dealt with them. It was self-defense."
"Just stop worrying about it," Yuelan chimed in. "The more distracted you are by such things, the less of use you’ll be in the dungeon. So focus up, ’kay?"
Hanbi sighed, and then nodded before continuing her walk. She also covered her ears so she wouldn’t hear what the people of the city had to say.
He couldn’t really blame her. She was sheltered, and for lack of a better word, she was a spoiled brat until she met him.
But, with mine and Yuelan’s influence, she might just turn into a delinquent like us.
Chuckling inwardly, he kept up the pace, and finally, after crossing the entire city, they arrived by the harbor.
However, instead of there being boats, or anything of the sort, there was a giant black swirling portal in front of them.
It distorted the surroundings, and the regular people didn’t dare go near it, which made it easier for their group to not have to deal with the people’s bullshit.
"Well, this is it," Yuelan said, looking the portal up and down. "Last time I tried to open it, I was spewed out several hundred kilometers offshore. Had to swim back. Was not as fun as it sounds."
"I bet." Xuan hummed. "So what, do you think it’s going to unlock if I go in?"
"I hope so. If not, then we’ve just wasted a trip," Yuelan replied.
After that, she turned to her two shadows.
"Once we’re inside, you two should stick with Sierra. She might be blind, but she’s still a Spirit Grandmaster. If anything goes wrong, she’ll be able to save you."
"Mistress..." the shadows muttered in unison, teary-eyed.
A tear ran down Huang Shuying’s cheek, messing up her already messed up makeup further.
Sierra merely shrugged, not objecting.
"Gosh, you two are just embarrassing me now. Keep the waterworks for later." Yuelan waved them off. "Just make sure to protect yourselves. That’s all I ask from you."
After that, she turned toward Xuan, then Hanbi.
She pointed at the two of them, and then at herself.
"We’ll be like the attack team. Whatever’s ahead, we’ll deal with it. If we’re tired, we’ll switch with the others. I repeat, if you’re tired or out of Qi, don’t be an idiot and back off. Got it?"
"Of course," Xuan replied.
"No worries... I’m a healer, so I’m not stupid enough to go through Qi deviation," Hanbi assured.
He kind of felt like both of their warnings were directed at him.
Must’ve been the wind...
After spending the next few minutes discussing the formations in case things went south, they were done and ready. Food wasn’t an issue since they had Qi, and in the worst-case scenario, Xuan and Yuelan would overload Void Step and break them all out of the dungeon.
So with that, Xuan finally took a step forward and placed his hand on the swirling portal. For a moment, nothing happened. But just then, his vision darkened as a few completely white pop-ups appeared in front of him.
[You have discovered: Tomb of the Three Eyed Angel.][Difficulty: Spirit Lord ~ Spirit King.][Party of 6 people detected.][Do you wish to enter the Tomb of the Three Eyed Angel alongside your party? Yes / No]
It’s a tomb? I guess Yuelan didn’t get this far if she was spewed out. Xuan thought. Though, a three-eyed angel... That doesn’t sound right.
His first encounter with the Demonic Faction was when he fought Elder Chun, who was some three-eyed being.
Coincidence? Maybe...
But there’s a bigger chance this is the tomb of that being. Yeah, this is too sketchy. I’m not going in.
[You have chosen: No.]
He had seen plenty of horror movies that could’ve been avoided had the main cast just not opened the door.
Well, here he was, not opening that door.
But almost as if fate had other plans...

You motherfucker—
Xuan’s body suddenly felt a massive push, and before long, he felt a wet sensation on his back, almost like he had been dipped into a shallow pool.
And when he forced his eyes open, he realized that really was the case.
Around him were Yuelan and the others, lying in a shallow pool of clear water that reflected a bright, starry nebula above them. Surprisingly, their own reflections couldn’t be seen.
They were surrounded by a vast forest and a few marble ruins, with hundreds of human-sized blindfolded angel statues scattered around.
Even though those statues felt eerie, he ignored them and glanced beyond the forest. He saw thin spires that towered downward from the clear sky, resembling an upside-down magic tower he had once seen on the internet.
Though upon closer look, those magic castles seemed transparent.
This place is way too trippy. Can’t say it looks like a tomb either.
Xuan continued observing the surroundings until finally, the final pop-up appeared.
[You have entered: Tomb of the Three Eyed Angel.]
The pop-up lingered like a slap in the face when, all of a sudden, Yuelan jumped up to her feet, her legs slightly trembling.
"Ugh... Feels like I sat on the toilet for like five hours. What’s up with this shitty transportation service?"
Xuan chuckled, and right on cue, the others slowly got up as well, sporting the same reaction as Yuelan. After their minds were no longer foggy and they were wide awake, Xuan decided to give them a basic rundown on just where they were.
