Carter flew up to the sky of Giyaku. His Raven spread wide. He was too far away from the armies and Ryuja so they weren’t aware of his existence... yet.

Carter unsheathed the Prisoner. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

"Iganu. We are here to conquer another world again." The black swordsman whispered.

The blade hummed in response. Iganu’s hoarse voice echoed faintly.

"More fun."

"Iganu Unbound." Carter whispered. The Raven Armor appeared on his body.

This time, he didn’t use Shadow Apothecary’s Potions, nor Adrenaline, nor the Monster Beneath, nor any other stackable abilities or skills.

Carter used only the power of Zeneros Blackburn and the skin’s Divinity.

"Eldritch God of Terror..." Carter whispered.

"God of Eldritch Terror? What a joke. You can fool those ignorant peasants. But me..." The purple toad laughed at what the white-haired girl said.

Suddenly, the sky above Giyaku cracked. The blue and white sky was invaded by a vast space of darkness and stars.

A being appeared. A gigantic god of raven and the night. A large towering figure with no end. They couldn’t comprehend his entire existence. But they could make out some of his appearance.

A pair of dark wings covered the entire sky. Black feathers for skin. Raven beak in front. One large glowing eye on the forehead.

That was the Eldritch God of Terror.

This ability was the evolution of Terror Corruption. It changed the Eldritch Knight to his most corrupted version. However, this being was no longer just a monster.

He’s a god.

Now, the true extent of this god was limited. Zeneros Blackburn wasn’t even a true god. He wasn’t a real demigod. He only had the aspect of a god. The path to become an actual god was still far away.

But for a mortal like Ryuja, a false god was enough.

The army behind Ryuja trembled in fear. They turned around and ran without even looking back. The sight of that being alone filled their heart with fear.

Terror Force. One of the very first abilities that Carter had ever received. It simply injected in those who had vision of the user, a fear so great it crippled them.

Carter had other Force related ability. Eldritch Force of Zeneros Blackburn. Necron Force of the Eldritch Skeleton Knight. All of them were able to grow stronger indefinitely.

But Terror Force. An ability with the same keyword didn’t have that power.

Carter had always wondered why. Now he had the answer.

Terror. The first thing in the darkness that kept us awake at night. It pushed us. It chased us. And it made sure we survive.

That was the true meaning of the God of Terror. Not a God of fear. But a God of marching forward, despite the terror lurking in the shadow.

The gate of the Giyaku City opened. Tenseitama Shinno Denka marched forward with his newfound army. He wore a black armor of Raven night. The power of the armor reflected the being in the sky.

Tenseitama the second Prince didn’t lie. The God had truly blessed him.

His enemies had seen the truth. And his soldiers also.

Ryuja, for all his worth, had little courage left. He tried to look at the true facade of a god. He wanted to prove that he wasn’t scared, that he wasn’t being fooled by this cheap trick.

But it was no trick. It was real. And when Ryuja saw the entity in the sky. All the terrors that had haunted him flooded back like a tsunami.

Mosen the Toad roared within him. And many other Champion Seeds.

He was no master of their power. Only a borrower.

Tenseitama marched toward the large Toad. No one stopped him. No one questioned. Because the thing in the sky was watching.

A sword appeared in Tenseitama’s hand. A replica of Iganu.

"Hachi. You have betrayed the trust of the people." Tenseitama shouted. "You let the Yokais feast on us like livestock. You robbed the powers that didn’t belong to you. You claimed to be King but you are just a lowly coward."

Tenseitama raised his blade. The being in the sky raised its blade.

"I, Tenseitama Shinno Denka, the second Prince of Arashi, true heir of the throne, the Chosen of the Gods, now sentence you... to death."

’Heh. He learned his line well.’ Carter thought silently.

Obviously, Tenmaru didn’t just come out and improvised everything. The Doll told him what he needed to do. And Carter finished the scene.

Ryuja stared at the towering god. In his final moment, he questioned his entire life. Regret. Sorrow. Shame. Pain. All the things that would torment a person came flooding to his soul.

The God of Eldritch Terror struck. He created a deep trench through the Jado Kingdom. This gap would soon be filled by the Green Dragon Seija, the Guardian of the Shrine.

In the future, this river would be called the Zen River. People would eventually forget why it was named that way. Some would even laugh at the story behind the story.

A god split open a river. That was simply a bedtime story our ancestor told us. It wasn’t real.

Zen was short for Zeneros. The true name of the God of Eldritch Terror. The same being that destroyed the Jado Kingdom and began the age of the Gods.

It was that day that Jado was erased from the five kingdoms. That day, a new Kingdom emerged.

This Kingdom was called Shingo - Divine Protection. Its king was Tenseitama, the Chosen of the God.

Shinto Mikoto, the Shrine Maiden, became Daijo, Lady Chancellor of the Shingo Kingdom, the right hand of the king.

Giyaku became the new Holy City. The place where the Gods resided and where the protection of the Twelve Guardians was the highest.

Chiaki Masuhara rescued her mother, Lady Chihana. Because of Clan Masuhara’s contribution to the war, their former position was restored. Chiaki became Lord Commander of the Holy Army.

Kazou, the Land Spirit, was appointed as an official deity in Giyaku. He received his own temple and became the symbol of guidance in the wilderness.

The Four Beast ’Gods’ that Ryuja enslaved survived the strike. Or more precisely, the God of Terror had spared them.

Lady Chancellor removed the poison in their blood and appointed them as the Guardians of the Shrine to make up for their mistake.

The Bear Guardian, the Hare Guardian, the Turtle Guardian, and a new Snake Guardian alongside the Dragon Guardian.
