Moments after Michael and the two ladies had left, those that had been washing from the side finally reacted.

Of course, the security guards did not bother, as no matter what, they would not be held accountable for anything. After all, whatever had happened, it was out of the jurisdiction.

But it was not the same with the others who had come to attend the auction. Most of those that had been watching included ordinary and VIP guests.

Despite the VVIP auction having ended quite some time ago, the others had not immediately left. Some of them met up, maybe to conduct private transactions, or to make other deals related to the auction items.

Therefore, despite the commotion out here, none of the VVIPs had seen what had happened. Regardless, they would come to know about it later on when they appeared.

Knowing that Robin had the qualifications of a VVIP, though not directly, but through his father, quite a number of people were willing to curry favor with him.

Since that was the case, with none of them being an idiot, they decided not to gamble. If it was a favored son of VVIP guests, then some of them might really have taken the risk to help out.

But for Robin, the benefits that they could earn from him, if they ended up offending someone with a higher status, would definitely not be enough to be able to cover the losses that they could suffer.

Though, it was different now. With the person involved in the conflict having already left, only Robin was remaining. So, they believed that even if they helped Robin a little, they would not be blamed.

Within just a few moments, several young masters approached Robin. They tried to help him up, while another one quickly brought over ice cubes, so that they could use them to help out with the injuries that Robin had suffered.

Robin was still in pain, but the ice cubes that were used on his face alleviated the pain.

As the pain momentarily began subsiding, still flinching, Robin finally began paying attention to the people around him. As he looked at them, he immediately recognized them.

Looking at their expressions, he felt fury raging within his heart. Previously, when he was in trouble, none of them stepped forward to help him. But now, since there was no any risk, they came over to curry favor.

Despite the fact that he was infuriated by this group of opportunists, he still went ahead and kept his composure. He did not show his dissatisfaction, but neither did he express his gratitude.

Instead, a few minutes later, after everything had calmed down, he began thinking. He was wondering, just what kind of background Michael had.

Of course, he hated Michael, even though that guy had not taken action against him. Still, he felt jealous, why did he have to be her man.

From the way that Kate was always close to him, it was clear that the two of them were in a relationship. And, Robin was already charmed by her beauty.

He just felt extremely uncomfortable to know that there was someone else whom, the beauty that he had his eyes on, loved.

Despite how uncomfortable it felt, he was not going to take any rash action. Previously, it was due to the influence of Julius that he had thought that Michael and his group did not have a big background.

During the confrontation, when he realized that he could not recognize them, he became cautious. But later on, things got a little out of hand, and he could not hold back any longer.

Now, he realized, he would have to do some investigation first. He would have to find out the background of those three, and after that, if he could deal with them, he would definitely make sure to take his revenge.

Having made a decision, he gazed towards Julius, who was being completely ignored by the group of people who had gathered around him.

Clearly, the status of all these people was almost the same or higher than that of Julius. Therefore, none of them thought that they would gain anything from helping Julius out.

’This idiot, I will have to make sure that he is dealt with. He doesn’t even investigate something, before pretending to offer me a gift. It doesn’t even belong to him in the first place!’ Robin thought to himself, seething.

Using the helicopter, it did not take long for the group of three to return to the mansion that had been arranged by Benson.

After the helicopter landed behind the mansion, the group alighted. Immediately after, Michael looked at Kate and said, "You guys can rest for now. As for the car, I have already made arrangements. By tomorrow morning, you can take it out for a test drive. It is already in the garage."

"That fast?!" Kate exclaimed in surprise. Even though Michael had promised her that he could get her the car, and a new one at that, he had said that he could get it directly from the manufacturer.

So, how come that just within a few hours, in the middle of the night, he had already managed to get the car?

Of course, she did not doubt that Michael could do this. It was just that it caught her by surprise. As for how Michael had confirmed that the car was there, despite not going to the garage, could he not be notified on his phone?

"Thank you!" Kate said excitedly, without waiting for Michael to say anything. Then after that, she hugged Michael, and before he could even react, she planted a kiss on his cheek, before she rushed away, her face blushing.

Michael stood in place, gazing at Kate as she rushed into the mansion as fast as she could. Of course, she did not use her full speed, but held back, making it look like that of a high level athlete.

Carol on the other hand was not really sure how she was supposed to react. Initially, she thought, Michael was just joking. She had after all heard many people make big claims, yet fail to fulfill them.

For Michael, she did not doubt that he could fulfill it. She just felt that he was boasting about doing it on the same night.

But now, she realized, it seemed that Michael was not the type to easily boast about something. Well, ever since she had known him, she seemed to never have really heard of him boasting?

As she thought about this, she looked into the night sky, wondering, would she be lucky to be able to get a man like him?

Michael, after not moving for a few seconds, he just shook his head at Kate’s actions. Then, he looked at Carol, who seemed to be deep in thought and said, "I’m going to my room. Tomorrow, if you need to go back, just let me know, and I will make arrangements for you."

Carol immediately came back to her senses as she quickly nodded, before she shook her head as she said, "Actually, there is no need for me to trouble you. The company is not that far from here, so, I can have my assistant come and pick me up."

"There is no need to trouble her with that. Anyway, I can have someone fly you over, so, it is not hassle." Michael responded nonchalantly.

Then, without waiting for her to say anything, he swiftly headed towards the mansion, leaving behind Carol who was still contemplating.

The moment that Michael went back to his room, he was thinking about something. Should he go back to Brenton city, or should he stay here?

It did not take long for him to come to a decision. In Brenton city, he really did not have much attachment, apart from the old couple and Victor. Alex and the group could easily come over to the capital if they wanted.

It seems that since he was already here, he might as well stay. That way, those that owed him, they should prepare themselves to start paying for what they had done.

He had been holding back for quite a long time now, which was enough respite for those that had wronged him. But for now, enough was enough.

It seems that starting from tomorrow, he would have to start taking action. And according to the plan that he came up with, first of all, he would visit his mother’s family.

Michael was still thinking of other things that he would do after that when suddenly, his sensitive ears suddenly picked up some movements.

The movements did not come from within the mansion, instead, it was from outside. The movements were faint, but it was because of this kind of approach that made Michael pick them out.

At the same time, Onyx gave him a notification, which made his expression turn cold.
