Invincibility Begins with Mastery of Fist Techniques
Chapter 391 - 384: The Hidden Truth
’This guy... he’s so brutal. To think he’d break Neil’s Earthquake Skill like that...’
Gleb shook his head. Even he had felt a powerful threat from that last series of attacks. And that one clash they’d had wasn’t even the guy’s strongest move.
’He’s a complete monster...’
Meanwhile, Zhou Yuanjue let out a soft breath. Central Pillar Neil... even setting aside his ability to channel damage through the ground, the man’s physique alone was terrifyingly powerful. To take a direct hit from him, only cough up some blood, and immediately get back on his feet... he was incredibly tough.
Unleashing that series of attacks while his Star Cells were active had placed a considerable strain on his stamina.
Then, he turned his gaze to Suzhu and the Pillar of Qi, who were waiting on the side. "You two," he said, "who’s next?"
The Pillar of Qi and Suzhu glanced at Zhou Yuanjue, who stood beside the terrifying crater. Then they looked over at Neil, who was slowly walking back from several hundred meters away, spitting blood from the corner of his mouth. The two exchanged a look, and one sighed. "We have all witnessed your strength. There’s no need for us to make a move."
Among the Four Pillars, the strength of Suzhu and the Pillar of Qi was in the lower-middle tier. The Pillar of Qi, in particular, had already fought Zhou Yuanjue before. After watching the battles with Gleb and Neil, they were even more convinced they were no match, and thus had no intention of fighting.
"Is that so?"
A look of regret appeared on Zhou Yuanjue’s face. Although he had wanted them to attack him together, this was a formal occasion. The Four Pillars represented more than just themselves, and he couldn’t just say whatever he wanted. Since they were unwilling to fight, he didn’t press the issue.
HUMMM!!
He slowly deactivated his magnetic field, retracting the Star Cells’ infection of his other cells. His body returned to its normal state.
The massive expenditure of stamina made him feel a sudden, intense hunger. He opened the satchel at his waist, took out several black, compressed nutrient pills that resembled Maltesers, and tossed them into his mouth before slowly walking over to the Four Pillars.
"Your strength, much like your theories, is shocking," Gleb said with a smile. "As you are now, you could probably contend with any one of the Seven Mo Luo head-on."
"This just proves that as long as one finds the correct method, even a frail human body can make rapid advancements in a short time."
"All of you have come this far and possess such incredible Power. You must be extraordinary individuals with resolute wills and powerful minds."
"Don’t you all want to see the view that lies beyond humanity’s age-old limits?" Zhou Yuanjue said, his gaze fixed on the Four Pillars.
’Beyond the limits...’
Hearing this, the Four Pillars couldn’t help but reveal a look of yearning in their eyes.
Having come this far, who among them didn’t yearn for a higher realm? Who didn’t long to transcend the limits that had shackled humanity for countless years?
"Even for us, there are some things we cannot do as we please," Central Pillar Neil said softly.
"Gentlemen, your understanding of the Celestial Demons should be deeper than ours," Zhou Yuanjue said. "You, more than anyone, should know the nature and danger of these unique life-forms. From the very beginning, they have had only one goal: to enslave and exploit us, body and soul."
"We are, of course, well aware of that. In fact, the intelligence we have on the Celestial Demons is more complete than yours. We were the main fighting force during the Second World War, after all. After we won, a great deal of information and Data left behind by the Ya’an Empire fell into our hands."
"But the more we learned, the harder it became to suppress the fear our superiors have of the Celestial Demons," Gleb said slowly.
"Oh? Why is that?" Zhou Yuanjue asked with a frown.
"Take the Seven Mo Luo, for example. You might think they are the seven strongest members of the Celestial Organization."
"But that’s not actually the case. Above the Seven Mo Luo are beings they refer to as ’Kings’—the King Level. I’ve read your thesis. In it, you mentioned a second shackle on the human body, one that exists beyond the First Generation and Celestial Phenomenon levels."
"And if our intelligence is correct, this so-called King Level refers to beings who have partially broken that shackle."
"As far as we know, the Celestial Organization currently has one such individual. We can’t even begin to fathom the abilities he possesses," Gleb said slowly.
"King Level? Breaking the second shackle?"
Zhou Yuanjue’s eyes narrowed.
"That’s right. In the very beginning, a mad scientist approached the head of the Ya’an Empire to pitch him cutting-edge biological technology. After their meeting, this expert, who claimed to possess supernatural power, became the Ya’an Empire’s secret chief scientist. He began a series of inhumane experiments. Using the Empire’s power and taking advantage of the chaos of war, he unsealed numerous Sealing Realm Images across the globe and hunted down countless Bloodline Users. It was then that the Celestial Demons reappeared in the world on a massive scale, as if Pandora’s box had been opened."
"This person was known as ’Doctor Nightmare.’ Later, after verifying through multiple sources, we were able to largely confirm that this Doctor Nightmare is one of the supreme leaders of the Celestial Organization."
"After the fall of the Ya’an Empire, countless nations coveted the treasures within this Pandora’s box and refused to let the matter rest. The once-notorious Doctor Nightmare became the Ya’an Empire’s most important legacy, with all the major powers vying to possess him."
"Ultimately, this legacy was claimed by the Starry Sky Country, the most powerful post-war nation. Under Doctor Nightmare’s leadership, the Starry Sky Country established a secret biological research institute. That institute was the predecessor of the Nebula Alliance. And now, within the Nebula Alliance, Doctor Nightmare is known as..."
"...the Leader," Gleb said slowly.
’Leader of the Nebula Alliance... Chief Scientist of the Ya’an Empire... a King of the Celestial Organization...’
In that instant, Zhou Yuanjue felt a chill run down his spine.
"So, it’s not surprising that the Starry Sky Country holds such a position, is it? There’s no telling to what extent that nation has been infiltrated by Celestial Demons."
"Back then, Doctor Nightmare didn’t have the power of a King Level. But things are different now. We don’t know why, but he has never made a move or even left the Starry Sky Country since the Nebula Alliance was founded. However, within the borders of the Starry Sky Country—or perhaps even across the entire world—he is a virtually invincible existence. His power has reached an unimaginable level."
Hearing Gleb’s words, Zhou Yuanjue couldn’t help but recall the strange sensation he’d felt shortly after killing Yuan Luàn.
’Was this the person who had been pulling the strings from behind the scenes, the one who could even predict my location?’
"However, even that isn’t the most frightening part. What is truly terrifying are the beings above the King Level. They are known as the Twelve Primordial Ancestors."
"According to the Data we have on the Ancestral Level, they are, in a sense, beings that cannot be killed."
"In other words, there is nothing on the entire planet Earth capable of completely destroying them. It’s like an ant trying to destroy a block of steel. That’s why even the Ancient Heroes of the past could only choose to Seal them away."
"We even suspect their origins aren’t of this planet."
