For a few moments after the fight ended, no one spoke.

The air felt heavy, and the smell of blood still lingered around them. Everyone’s eyes slowly shifted toward the spot where Arvin had fallen earlier, and their expressions turned tense.

Mira’s lips parted slightly, and her eyes trembled as she stared at the ground.

"Arvin."

Kellar lowered his shield, and his grip loosened as his shoulders dropped. Ren looked away for a second, while Lira stood still.

The weight of it pressed down on all of them, making it hard to breathe.

Then,a faint glow appeared where Arvin’s body had been.

Everyone froze as the light gathered slowly and began to take shape, and no one moved as they watched.

A figure formed and it was none other than Arvin.

He materialized with a pale, horrified expression. His breathing was uneven, as if he had just been pulled back from something terrifying. His eyes were wide, and his face had lost all color.

"Arvin!" Mira stepped forward quickly, her voice filled with worry.

"Are you alright?" Lira asked as she moved closer, her hands instinctively lifting again, ready to heal.

Kellar frowned and stepped in as well, while Ren watched him carefully, trying to understand his condition.

For a brief moment, Arvin said nothing.

Then suddenly he laughed. The sound was abrupt and sharp, and it made everyone flinch slightly.

’Has he gone crazy after dying?’

"Guys stop behaving like this." 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

He waved his hand dismissively, though his expression still looked stiff and uneasy.

"I still have 40 years of lifespan. Don’t be a cry baby."

He let out a breath and straightened himself a little, trying to regain control over his emotions.

"I can still get more life."

His voice became steadier as he spoke, though the earlier fear had not completely left his eyes.

Then his gaze shifted toward the skill book in Reigns’ hand.

"Hello friend!"

"Can you perhaps tell me your name?"Arvin asked respectfully.

"I am Reigns."

Arvin nodded and said,"Reigns you can keep that."

He then looked at the others, scanning their faces one by one.

"Anyone has any objection."

The group exchanged quick glances.

"No..I think it’s fine if Reigns keeps it. Without him we might have died," Mira said, nodding slightly as she spoke.

The others followed her lead.

"Yes, we agree," Ren added quietly.

Kellar gave a short nod, and Lira also nodded in agreement.

At that moment, Lira took a step forward. Her expression softened, and she bowed her head slightly toward Reigns.

"Thank you... for saving me."

Reigns waved his hand casually, his expression calm and relaxed.

"It’s fine."

He did not make much of it, as if it was nothing important.

"By the way,how did you respawn here?"

"Shouldn’t you spawn in the City?"

"After I died,I got a notification that asked me if I wanted to respawn in the city or out here.I choose to spawn here.’

"Oh!’’Reigns exclaimed in shock not knowing that there was such a thing.

At that moment, Ren looked around and then asked,"What should we do, keep hunting or retreat?"

Before anyone else could answer, Reigns spoke firmly.

"Let’s retreat first. We are in a mess. We should collect ourselves and also equip ourselves with better equipment and then return."

He paused for a moment and looked at them seriously, his gaze steady.

"Let’s not be hasty."

"Leveling up might be the correct choice but nothing worth more than life."

His voice remained calm, but there was clear weight behind his words.

In fact, Reigns himself wanted to level up more, but the current battle had clearly shown its flaws.

If the opponent had great agility and skills, the shooters became practically useless because they could not move.

Secondly, he might have landed more hits if he had coordinated better, but in the chaos, he found it hard to maintain his composure.

So he needed more practice.

The others listened carefully, their expressions turning thoughtful.

Then one by one, they nodded.

"Yeah... you’re right," Kellar said, adjusting his grip on the shield.

"We should regroup first," Mira added, her voice calmer now.

Ren let out a breath and nodded as well.

Arvin folded his arms and gave a small nod, no longer arguing.Lira stepped back quietly, agreeing with the decision.

The tension slowly eased as they all came to the same conclusion. They decided to call it a day and retreat for now.

.....

"Reigns, could you possibly tell us about your class?" Arvin asked, looking at him with curiosity.

Reign shifted slightly and answered in a calm tone, "It’s nothing but a farming class."

"Farming?" Everyone frowned as soon as they heard that.

A farming class was supposed to be a support-type class. No one could understand how it had shown such overwhelming power just now.

"Bro, is it a farming plant class or a farming aura class?" Kellar squinted his eyes as he asked, and a few of the others let out small chuckles at his wording.

Reign shook his head with a smile. "It’s a bit of a special class."

"What is your Tier?" Kellar asked out of habit, but then he paused midway when he noticed everyone else glaring at him for asking something so direct.

The potential Tier of a class was what truly made it special. Even if someone awakened an ultra high-level class, if it was capped at a low Tier, it would be hard to reach greater heights.

Once someone reached their Tier limit, their leveling speed would drop because of the reduced efficiency in gaining experience.

No one really knew why it happened, but experience gained at a Tier 3 cap when killing monsters of the same level would be much less compared to someone who had a higher Tier potential.

As they walked back, the group moved along the rough path that led toward the village, their footsteps steady but their minds still lingering on the earlier fight.

On the way back, Lira glanced at Reign and asked, "What are you gonna do with the skill?"

She tilted her head slightly before adding, "Consume it or sell it?"

Reign frowned a little at the question and thought for a moment. "These are good for Tier 0skills, I think it’s better to use them."

Ren crossed his arms and spoke in a thoughtful tone, "Tier 0 skills are great, but if you sell those two, you might be able to buy a Tier 1 skills or may Tier 2"

Arvin also nodded, and when he noticed Reign’s unsure expression, he stepped closer and explained patiently, "Also, you need to see if the skills are growth type or not. A Tier 1 skill limits the level to Tier 1 and it’s useless at Tier 2. Also, you are already close to Tier 1."

He continued while gesturing lightly with his hand, "In a few days, you might break through Tier 1, and with all the accumulation, you should buy a good skill."

Reign gave a small nod, taking the advice seriously. "Thanks for the suggestion. I will keep that in mind."

After that, they continued forward and soon reached the gates of the Beginner Village.

From a distance, it looked less like a simple village and more like an ancient town. The tall wooden gates were worn but sturdy, and the stone walls around it carried an old, weathered feeling. People moved in and out in groups, some talking, some trading, and others simply resting.

Reign had been teleported near the gate earlier, so he hadn’t really taken a proper look at the place. But now, as he stood there, he could see all kinds of groups gathered around.

"It looked like a fantasy world without any technology," Reign muttered under his breath as his eyes scanned the surroundings.

"Of course it is," Kellar chimed in casually as he placed a hand over Reign’s shoulder.

"This village is located in the outside world of ours and protected by the will of God. They aren’t broad and connected. It’s just a small patch compared to the real world, so the technology ought to be less developed."

After a brief discussion, Arvin pointed toward the inner area of the village and said, "Let’s meet tomorrow at 6 AM. Be sharp."

He looked at everyone seriously before adding, "While we are resting doesn’t mean others will too."

With that, the group slowly parted ways, each heading in a different direction to rest and prepare for the next day.

But unlike them, Reign did not feel like resting.

As the others disappeared into the village streets, he remained near the gate for a moment.

He wanted to explore it further.
