Leveling Up Alongside My Plant Legion
Chapter 26:Step Back
"Damn.. I am rich!" Reigns tried to control his expression, but the excitement still flickered in his eyes. He took a slow breath and quickly looked at his status screen, making sure no one around him noticed the sudden change in his mood.
A faint glow appeared before him as the familiar screen opened.

Reigns stared at the numbers for a few seconds, and his fingers slowly tightened into a fist. His first goal was simple. He wanted to round off the stats and make them closer and more balanced.
After leveling up twice, he had already put most of his points into Mana and Perception. He could feel the difference clearly. His senses felt sharper, and there was a faint flow of energy inside him that was becoming easier to control.
He exhaled slowly and leaned back slightly, thinking about his next step.
Then his focus shifted to his skills.
Once the Splash Shooters started growing, another skill had appeared under Farming.
Splash Shooter Farming.
From the number, it seemed he could grow up to 25 Splash Shooters. He tapped his finger lightly against his leg while thinking. The class level up had not made any noticeable difference so far.
However, he was not in a hurry.
If class level up did not change much, then skill level up might do something. And if skills still did not bring a big change, then Tier level up might be the real key.
His focus was clear now. He needed to level up his Tier.
To evolve from Tier 0 to Tier 1, he needed 10000 tradable lifespan days, and for Tier 1, it would need 50000.
It was a huge amount, and that was the reason he sold the plant so quickly without hesitating.
"So which skill should I level up.. Let’s go with Inspect."
As soon as he made the decision, a faint notification appeared before him.
[10000 tradable days had been consumed.]
Reigns felt a slight sting in his chest as the number dropped, but he did not regret it.
[Inspect]
Tier 0 » Tier 1
A strange warmth passed through his eyes, and for a moment, his vision sharpened as if something invisible had been peeled away.
After doing that, he did not stop. He immediately moved on to level up his other skills.
[Callous Hands]
Lv 1 » Lv 5
[Ploughing The Field]
Lv 1 » Lv 5
Reaping
Lv 3 » Lv 5
A faint heaviness spread through his arms, and he flexed his fingers slightly. His palms felt rougher, stronger, almost like they carried a hidden weight now.

Reigns stared at the skill descriptions, and a slow breath escaped his lips. His shoulders relaxed slightly, but his eyes remained sharp.
"Hiss... My skills looked so op. I wonder how op would be the skills of those who awakened legendary class."
A faint shiver ran down his spine as the thought crossed his mind. He clenched his jaw slightly, and his gaze turned serious.
Too much.
It was just too much.
After collecting the Splash Shooters that had completed their quota of producing three buds, he carefully planted the new ones in their place.
After handing over the Splash Shooter, he went back to the inn to check out. He packed his things slowly and made sure nothing was left behind before stepping out. As he adjusted the strap on his bag, he muttered to himself with a faint sigh,
"I wish I had a storage dimension?"
Earlier, while looking around the market, he had asked about storage skills and storage rings, but sadly, he could not find any. Spatial items were extremely rare, and they were not something that could be found easily anywhere.
As he reached near the gates, he spotted the team waiting there. They were already looking at him with wide grins on their faces.
"Hehhe...Look there, we have a bigshot!" Kellar laughed maniacally as he stepped forward and casually wrapped his arm around Reigns’ neck.
Ren quickly moved closer as well, leaning in slightly with curiosity in his eyes. "I heard you had a personal meeting with the City Lord."
Unlike them, Lyra stood a little behind. Her brows were slightly furrowed, and there was a hint of concern in her expression. "I hope everything goes well."
Reigns looked at them quietly for a moment. His eyes moved from one face to another, and then he let out a small breath before speaking with a bitter smile.
"He took a fancy to my plant monster and wanted to take them."
The moment those words left his mouth, everyone’s expression changed.
"Did he force you to sell?" Arvin asked immediately, his voice tightening as he stepped forward.
"In a way , yes!"
A heavy silence settled over the group. The earlier excitement faded, and the air felt a little tense.
Reigns suddenly let out a light laugh, trying to ease the mood. He waved his hand slightly as if brushing it off.
"It’s okay guys."
"I can grow more..Let’s not spoil the mood before the big hunt."
Kellar straightened up and clapped his hands once, forcing some energy back into the group.
"Yeah!Cheer up.We have a long task ahead."
With that, the group finally started moving out together.
As they walked, Arvin began explaining their route while occasionally pointing ahead.
"The Beginner village is just one corner of the entry zone. From what I heard, it’s a mini world, and there are several beginner villages, and with them are several hunting zones and even hidden dungeons."
The path soon changed as they moved deeper into the forest. Tall trees surrounded them, and thick bushes covered the ground. The air felt heavier, and distant sounds of howling and screaming echoed from different directions.
Not far ahead, sounds of combat filled the forest. The clash of steel against tough hide rang sharply, and bursts of elemental magic lit up parts of the area. Shouted warnings and coordinated calls could be heard from different directions. It was clearly a popular hunting spot, and multiple groups were spread across the territory, each holding their own section.
Arvin slowed down and scanned the surroundings carefully. His eyes quickly locked onto a small group of beasts not too far away.
"Let’s go there!" Arvin said as he stepped forward with confidence.
Just as he was about to take another step, Ren’s voice suddenly rang out loudly.
"Stop!"
BAng!
Arvin’s body stiffened mid-step. At the same time, a loud banging sound echoed through the forest, forcing him to instinctively pull back.
Right in front of him, an arrow had struck the ground. The impact created a small explosion, and dirt and leaves scattered into the air.
Before anyone could react further, a cold voice echoed from somewhere ahead, firm and full of warning.
"This is our zone step back idiots."
