Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 155 - 154: The First Step
"No need." Nathan Foster said as he fastened the last button of his shirt, then took a few steps to stand in front of South Grant.
"I find your sleep-talking quite interesting, it won’t affect me."
For the entire morning, South Grant was in a daze because of what Nathan Foster had said.
Sleep-talking is something one cannot control. If she could, she would have loved to seal her mouth before sleep.
Thinking about it too much was pointless, so South Grant simply stopped thinking about it.
After school at noon, South Grant called Shawn Grant to ask about the progress of the board meeting this morning.
Everything was as South Grant expected, Shawn Grant went to Aetherium, and Miles Grant didn’t make it difficult.
Because at this time, Aetherium was a dispensable subsidiary in the whole story.
During the call, South Grant could tell from Shawn Grant’s tone that he wasn’t in a good mood, probably due to the handover at Aetherium.
Aetherium’s profitability and reputation were far behind Stellaris, no wonder Shawn Grant was angry. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
In the afternoon, South Grant called Nathan Foster, telling him not to pick her up, as she had some things to deal with.
After school, South Grant took a taxi directly to Aetherium.
Luckily, the school wasn’t far from Aetherium’s office; it only took half an hour to arrive.
When she got there, Shawn Grant hadn’t finished work yet. At this time, all the company’s employees were called to a meeting by Shawn Grant.
There was no one at the reception downstairs, so South Grant went straight up.
The office location fell far short compared to Stellaris, whether in terms of environment or resources.
South Grant looked around, then heard sounds from the meeting room and walked over.
She heard Shawn Grant talking inside. Through the glass window, she could see the other employees, all standing and listening to Shawn Grant speak.
Shawn Grant’s attitude wasn’t good. South Grant knew he always looked down on Aetherium, and to him right now, he seemed like a demoted minister.
Generally, those who are demoted wouldn’t have a pleasant demeanor, and at this moment, he was speaking to the employees with an angry face.
"...I don’t care what method you use, something must be achieved within six months. None of you should just sit around, all of you go out and gather resources, get scripts, first improve the performance for me. The company feeds you every day, if none of you have any ambition, then what’s the point of keeping you?"
Shawn Grant continued his endless complaints, but South Grant’s focus wasn’t on him.
She looked at the people inside the meeting room, almost everyone in the company was present.
The talent agents, the design director, and the public relations department manager were all there.
Not bad at all, even though it’s small, it’s self-sufficient.
Although the current artists aren’t very famous, there is a great deal of potential to be tapped.
Aetherium was going to be her first stepping stone in taking back Grant Group.
After watching for a while, South Grant turned and went back to Shawn Grant’s office. Shawn Grant returned to his office after the meeting and, upon entering, saw South Grant sitting in the office chair, immediately retracting his angry expression.
"South, why are you here at this time?"
"I came to see how the handover is going."
Speaking of this, Shawn Grant was filled with complaints again.
"Don’t mention it, yesterday when you told me about Aetherium, I specifically checked and found that Aetherium used to have two presentable artists. As long as we package and invest resources in them, it wouldn’t be impossible to make a name. But today I found out that those two artists’ contracts had expired half a month ago, and seeing Aetherium’s lack of development potential, they switched to other entertainment agencies, leaving behind a bunch of clueless artists with no highlight about them. It just makes me angry to look at them."
