"Fine, even if you can solve the funding issue, what are you going to do about the actors? There’s not a single actor worth mentioning in the entire Aetherium."

After listening to Shawn Grant, South Grant asked slowly and calmly:

"Third Uncle, what do you think of me?"

Shawn Grant was taken aback by South Grant’s words.

Her?

Is she going to play a man or a woman?

In her current life, she doesn’t fit neatly into either gender; can she really deliver a good performance?

Shawn Grant had deep doubts.

"You’re not going to school anymore?"

"In half a month I’ll be taking my college entrance exams. Once that’s done, everything will be ready, and we can start filming. The movie will begin shooting in August and should be completed by the end of the month. After a month of post-production in September, it’ll just make it for a National Day release. I’ll likely have more free time during the start of university, so I can travel around with the crew for promotions. The timing is perfect."

Shawn Grant was left speechless by South Grant’s planning.

"If everything can be ready in a few days, why wait until August to start filming?"

"Since it’s a military-themed film, the actors need some experience to better establish the characters’ personalities and images. I plan for the actors involved, especially the main ones, to undergo military district training. Experiencing the life of special forces will give them deeper insights when portraying their roles."

Having been at Stellaris for so many years and invested in numerous films, it was Shawn Grant’s first time hearing someone talk about living the role for a movie.

"That’s simply a waste of time. Do you really think the actors will listen to you? In a month, they could take on several other projects, shoot a movie, take many ad campaigns, and earn a lot of money! Yet, you want them to train for a month. It’s just impossible. If they were playing a mental patient, would you send them to a mental hospital for a month?"

Shawn Grant didn’t agree with South Grant’s approach, considering it a waste of time.

"If this project were about mental health, I’d have no problem sending the entire crew to a hospital for a month to interact with patients." South Grant said lightly.

"No, I don’t agree. It’s too time-consuming and a waste of funds." Shawn Grant disagreed.

"Third Uncle, I’m not asking for your approval, I’m informing you of the decision. You have no choice now. You either follow my lead, or you watch as Miles Grant continues to expand, ultimately monopolizing the Grant Group, leaving you with nothing but this small Aetherium company to fend for yourself."

"You!" Shawn Grant was irritated by South Grant’s words.

"What’s the issue? I’m the only one who can help you now. Besides, the funding isn’t coming out of your pocket, so why is Uncle worried about it?"

There was a hint of disdain in South Grant’s words, though Shawn Grant didn’t pick up on it.

His plans were meticulous, leaving South Grant to do all the heavy lifting while he reaped the benefits.

South Grant charges into battles while he sits in the war council.

Even if South Grant finds the funding for the film, once it’s in his hands, it’s no longer South Grant’s to squander.

"I just think the funding is hard to come by and shouldn’t be wasted." Shawn Grant tried to cover his greed, "Besides, getting people into a military district for training won’t be easy."
