Chapter 1515: Chapter 1515: Dragon Bone

Lang Ya looked at Qin Yi, the corner of his mouth twitching hard a few times, then tapped his toes lightly and followed up.

Qin Yi reached the top and saw blood light flowing all around Tian Xie, a blood-colored longsword condensing in his hand as he tried to pierce the protective shield guarding the Big Halberd.

So there was an Array around this Big Halberd.

It should have been set up by the Evil Lord back then, and its level wasn’t low. Tian Xie’s face was flushed red from straining as the blood-colored longsword pushed in inch by inch.

Damn, he really let me guess right. This guy really did come for the Big Halberd.

"Need my help?"

Qin Yi’s attention was all on Tian Xie; he didn’t even notice Lang Ya coming up beside him.

Lang Ya opened his mouth and gave him a scare.

"Why are you popping up like a ghost? Don’t you know Dragons scare people to death?"

Qin Yi said irritably.

Lang Ya thought for a moment. "Is there such a saying?"

Qin Yi: "..."

"Need help?"

Lang Ya asked again.

"Does that count as that wish?"

Lang Ya nodded.

Qin Yi curled his lip. "Get lost and play somewhere else. I only have one wish—if I use it this easily, won’t I be taking a huge loss?"

As he finished, he grabbed out, and the Flood Dragon Spear appeared in his hand. He surged forward, fiercely pouncing at Tian Xie.

The Big Halberd whirled wildly, hacking straight down.

His opening move was Star Covering and Moon Cutting.

Tian Xie had long noticed Qin Yi. The Blood Sword, which had already pierced several inches into the Protective Shield, swept out horizontally.

"Bang!"

Sword and halberd collided, force spreading out.

With a boom, the Blood Sword was chopped apart by the Big Halberd.

Tian Xie let out a muffled groan, his whole body blasted sideways a hundred meters away, staring at Qin Yi in shock.

"Whoosh!"

The Flood Dragon Spear flew out of Qin Yi’s hand, turning into a streak of red light that flashed through the air.

Blood Qi surged around Tian Xie. He joined his fingers like a blade and slashed in mid-air; a terrifying blood-red Saber Energy tore through the air and hacked down.

"Clang!"

Sparks flew, and a storm swept out.

The Big Halberd was knocked flying, while the blood-red Saber Energy was directly shattered.

Tian Xie’s eyes contracted sharply. His body shot out like a cannonball, his arm trembling, the tiger’s mouth split open.

The Flood Dragon Spear flew back into Qin Yi’s hand on its own. Qin Yi’s figure was like flowing light; with a single step he appeared in front of Tian Xie.

The Big Halberd flared like a spike, thrusting straight out.

Rolling blood light shrouded Tian Xie’s body.

"Boom!"

The blood light was pierced and blasted apart by the Big Halberd, surging out like a blood cloud in all directions.

Blood light coiled around Tian Xie’s hands as he clamped the blade of the Flood Dragon Spear between his palms.

Qin Yi charged forward, forcing Tian Xie to keep flying backward.

"I thought you’d already run. Didn’t expect you’d still dare stay here."

"Tian Xie, leave your life here for me."

Qin Yi roared, his wrist trembling as the Big Halberd spun rapidly.

Tian Xie’s hands were shaken apart on the spot, the flesh in his palms ground off.

"Boom!"

The Big Halberd swept horizontally, stirring up brilliant purple ripples.

"Bang!"

Tian Xie screamed miserably, his shoulder smashed to pieces, flesh and blood flying as his whole body shot out like a cannonball.

"Qin Yi, when did you break through?"

Tian Xie roared in fury, eyes venomous, like a wounded beast.

"What the hell does that have to do with you? You’re about to die, why ask so much?"

Qin Yi’s figure flickered; man and halberd became one, his speed pushed to the limit as he reached Tian Xie in the blink of an eye.

The Big Halberd flashed like lightning, thrusting toward Tian Xie’s heart.

"Boom!"

Dazzling blood vessels burst open, enveloping dozens of meters around.

After a long moment, the blood light dispersed.

Qin Yi’s face was dark as iron; Tian Xie was nowhere to be seen.

Tian Xie had escaped again.

Damn it, he used the Blood Escape Technique again.

However, the Blood Escape Technique required Essence Blood to cast. A person wouldn’t cultivate much Heart Essence Blood in their entire life; Tian Xie had used Blood Escape Technique three times, which meant he’d burned three drops.

Qin Yi’s eyes turned icy. He wanted to see just how many more times Tian Xie could use the Blood Escape Technique, how many more drops of Essence Blood he could waste.

"If I’d made a move just now, he wouldn’t have gotten away."

Lang Ya stood in the distance, speaking lazily as if nothing had happened.

Qin Yi snapped, turning back. "If not for me, you’d already have been skinned and tendons pulled out by that guy just now. You still have the face to stand there talking crap?"

Lang Ya was slightly stunned, then said, "Then you should have told me earlier. I would’ve acted long ago. Doesn’t count as that wish."

Qin Yi: "..."

"Get out of here. Don’t be a Zhuge Liang after the fact and a pig before the fact."

Qin Yi couldn’t be bothered with him. He walked up onto the altar and started studying how to take out the Big Halberd.

There was an Array set around this Big Halberd.

Qin Yi tested it. This should be a Level Eight protective Array; after ages of erosion, its current power was about on par with Level Seven.

"This weapon is filled with evil power. If you use it, it will affect your mind."

Qin Yi glanced back at him. "No kidding. This is the Evil Lord’s weapon, of course it’s full of evil Qi."

"You probably still don’t know, do you? The Evil Lord’s soul is lodged inside that guy’s body from just now. If he doesn’t die, he’ll bring a great calamity to all living beings under heaven."

"Also, who told you I want to use this weapon? I just don’t want that guy who ran away just now to get his hands on it."

Lang Ya fell silent, his gaze flickering slightly; no one knew what he was thinking.

Suddenly, he raised his head and asked, "Who is the Evil Lord?"

Qin Yi: "..."

"He’s an old monster who’s lived for endless ages. Even though you’re old, when he was rampaging across the Primordial Continent, you probably hadn’t even been born yet, or were still an egg."

"The Dragon Clan hatch from eggs, right? I’m not wrong, am I?"

Lang Ya clenched his teeth and ignored Qin Yi.

Qin Yi curled his lip. You ignore me? I can’t be bothered with you either.

Then he channeled the Flood Dragon Spear and lashed it viciously at the Protective Shield.

"Bang!"

After a deafening muffled boom, Qin Yi’s arm went numb from the shock, but the Protective Shield remained intact.

Qin Yi was stifled; he had underestimated the power of this Array.

"You can use that wish. I can help you break this Array."

"Go stand over there and stay put."

Qin Yi didn’t even turn his head, sneering, "It’s just a Level Eight Array that’s been eaten away by time. If I can’t even break this, how am I supposed to混 in the future?"

Qin Yi reversed his grip and stabbed the Flood Dragon Spear into the ground. Black light flashed in his palm, and the Black Brick appeared in his hand.

Purple Light swept over Qin Yi’s body; his palms turned like Purple Crystal Stone as he swung the Black Brick and smashed it toward the Protective Shield.

"Bang!"

A dull explosion rang out.

Qin Yi was jolted back a few steps, but obvious cracks appeared on the Protective Shield.

Qin Yi looked back at Lang Ya in triumph.

However, Lang Ya’s expression left him stunned.

Lang Ya’s face was full of excitement, as if he’d seen something unbelievable.

Qin Yi froze for a moment, then said smugly, "No need to worship your big bro too much. I’m no legend."

Lang Ya’s lips trembled as he stammered, "D-Dragon... Dragon Bone."

Qin Yi looked completely dumbfounded. He glanced around. "Dragon Bone? What Dragon Bone?"

"In your hand—it’s Dragon Bone. Where did you get it?"

"In my hand?" Qin Yi looked down and froze, then lifted the Black Brick. "You’re saying this is Dragon Bone?"

Lang Ya nodded.

"You gotta be kidding me. This is clearly a piece of metal."

"Let me see." Lang Ya said excitedly.

Qin Yi looked at him warily. "You’re not trying to trick me into giving this thing up so I’ll beg you and waste that wish, are you?"

"I’m telling you, keep dreaming. Even without this Black Brick I can still break this Array."

Lang Ya said urgently, "Hurry, let me see it."

Qin Yi’s face was full of suspicion, but in the end he still walked over and handed the Black Brick to Lang Ya.

Lang Ya received it with both hands as if accepting an imperial decree.
