Living With My Yandere Professor
Chapter 96: Kiss
A few days had passed since Andrew and his team moved into the new workshop.
The change in environment was dramatic. The spacious, well-equipped office had transformed how they worked. No more cramped dorm rooms, broken chairs, or noisy distractions. Now they had proper desks, high-performance computers, fast internet, and even a small pantry. The team’s productivity had skyrocketed.
Mark was fully focused on optimizing the core AI engine, Gary was deep into bug hunting and code refinement, while Hannah handled operations, user feedback, and promotion planning. Andrew spent most of his time coordinating everything and working on new features for Luna’s personality system.
The atmosphere in the workshop was energetic and focused. The sound of keyboards clicking and occasional excited discussions filled the room.
One afternoon, while Andrew was reviewing some test results, his phone rang. It was Elena Hayes.
He answered quickly.
"Hello, Ms. Hayes."
"Elena is fine," she replied in her usual smooth, confident voice. "How are you, Andrew? I hope the new workspace is comfortable."
"It’s excellent. Thank you again. We’ve made a lot of progress here."
"Good," Elena said, sounding pleased. "That’s exactly why I’m calling. I’d like to get a current status update on Luna. How far have you come in the last few days? Are there any new features or challenges I should know about? Why don’t you come to the Grandview Hotel this evening? We can talk comfortably over dinner. I’ve already reserved a private room."
Andrew was slightly surprised but nodded. "Sure, that works. What time?"
"7:00 PM. I’ll send you the room number."
After ending the call, Andrew exhaled slowly.
After ending the call, Andrew let out a small sigh. This was already the second time Elena had called him for a meeting in just a few days. It seemed like she preferred face-to-face discussions going forward.
He quickly messaged Scarlett to inform her about the meeting, then continued working, wondering what Elena wanted to discuss this time.
---
At 7:00 PM, Andrew arrived at the Grandview Hotel. Elena had already reserved a elegant private dining room. She was waiting for him, dressed in a sophisticated yet relaxed black dress.
They ordered food, grilled salmon for Elena and a steak for Andrew, and began discussing Luna while eating.
Andrew explained in detail:
"Luna’s personality system is almost complete. Each user can fully customize their Luna appearance, voice, personality traits, even how formal or casual she speaks. The AI now remembers long-term conversations and builds emotional memory. For example, if a user tells Luna they had a bad day, she’ll reference it later and try to cheer them up with personalized suggestions."
Elena nodded thoughtfully while cutting her salmon. "Good. And the mini-games?"
"They’re fully integrated. Users can play Jump Jump, Bubble Shooter, or Tetris just by telling their Luna. The leaderboard on the website is already active. We’re seeing healthy competition among college students."
Andrew continued sharing more technical details, improvements in voice recognition, privacy features, and plans for future updates like voice cloning and advanced mood detection. Elena listened carefully, nodding occasionally and asking sharp but supportive questions.
The dinner went smoothly. Elena seemed genuinely impressed with the progress.
---
As their meeting was winding down, a sudden commotion came from the main dining hall. A young man in a suit knelt down on one knee in front of a beautiful woman named Sophia. He held a bouquet of red roses in one hand and a small velvet box in the other.
"Sophia," he said loudly, voice full of emotion, "from the day I met you, I knew you were the one. Will you marry me?"
Sophia covered her mouth with both hands, tears of joy in her eyes. After a few seconds, she nodded vigorously.
"Yes! Yes, I will!"
The entire restaurant erupted in cheers and applause. The man named Vikram stood up, slipped the ring on her finger, and hugged her tightly. Then, with a huge grin, he announced loudly, "Everyone! Tonight, the entire hotel’s dinner bill is on me! Celebrate with us!"
The guests cheered even louder. Waiters smiled and began moving quickly to accommodate the generous gesture.
Andrew watched the happy scene with a small smile. Elena also looked over, a soft expression on her face.
"Love looks good on them," she said quietly.
Andrew nodded, but his thoughts briefly drifted to Scarlett.
After the joyful applause died down and most guests had finished their meals, Vikram stood up once again, radiating the confidence of someone who was used to commanding attention. He was tall, well-dressed in an expensive charcoal suit, with sharp features and an air of natural authority, clearly a bigshot.
He gestured to the hotel manager, who had been hovering nearby with a respectful smile.
"Bring some good music," Vikram said loudly, his voice carrying across the hall. "And clear some space. Tonight is a celebration. Let’s have dancing!"
The hotel staff moved with impressive speed. Within minutes, soft ambient lights dimmed, warm golden spotlights lit up a cleared area in the center of the hall, and smooth, romantic music began playing through the speakers, a mix of slow and upbeat love songs.
Vikram raised his glass and announced with a bright, infectious smile:
"Everyone! In this happy moment, whoever wants to dance, please come and enjoy! Don’t be shy. Tonight, the floor is yours!"
Several couples immediately stood up, laughing and heading toward the dance floor. The atmosphere turned lively and festive.
Elena watched the scene with a gentle smile, then turned to Andrew.
"We should enjoy it too," she said softly, her hazel eyes sparkling with amusement. "It would be a shame to waste such a beautiful night."
Andrew hesitated for a second, caught off guard. But Elena was already standing gracefully, extending her hand toward him.
Vikram, who had noticed them, gave a slight nod of encouragement.
Andrew stood up, feeling a bit nervous but not wanting to refuse. He took Elena’s hand. She led him smoothly onto the dance floor.
The music shifted into a slow, romantic melody. Elena placed one hand on Andrew’s shoulder while he hesitantly rested his on her waist. She was an excellent dancer, graceful and confident. Andrew followed her lead at first, but soon found his rhythm.
"You’re surprisingly good at this," Elena teased lightly as they moved together.
Andrew gave a small, embarrassed laugh. "I’m just trying not to step on your feet."
Elena chuckled softly, her long chestnut hair swaying as they turned. The warm lighting made her look even more stunning, almost ethereal. For a few minutes, they danced in comfortable silence, surrounded by other joyful couples.
Vikram and Sophia were in the center, laughing and spinning happily, clearly lost in their own world. The entire hall felt alive with celebration.
As the song changed to something slightly faster, Elena pulled Andrew a little closer, her hand resting more comfortably on his shoulder.
"Moments like this are rare," she said quietly. "It’s good to celebrate when life gives you something beautiful."
Andrew nodded, feeling the warmth of her hand and the elegant way she moved. For a brief moment, he forgot about the sponsorship, about Luna, even about Scarlett waiting at home. He simply enjoyed the dance.
As the romantic music reached its final notes, the lights in the hall dimmed even further, casting a soft, intimate glow over the dance floor. Vikram, still holding Sophia close, suddenly pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss. He locked his lips with hers and pushed his tongue inside her mouth without hesitation. Sophia melted into him, wrapping her arms around his neck as they shared a heated, open-mouthed kiss in front of everyone.
Inspired by the newly engaged couple, several other pairs on the dance floor followed suit. The atmosphere turned electric as couples embraced and kissed passionately, lost in the celebratory mood.
Andrew and Elena were still standing close from the dance. The romantic energy in the air, combined with the dim lighting and the sight of happy couples around them, created a strange, magnetic pull. Without thinking, Andrew leaned in. Elena didn’t pull away.
Their lips met.
At first it was soft, tentative. But the moment their mouths touched, something ignited. Andrew’s hand slid to her waist, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss. Elena’s lips parted, allowing his tongue to slip inside. The kiss quickly turned heated, slow, sensual, and full of unexpected desire. Their tongues danced together, tasting each other as the final notes of the song faded away.
The kiss lasted until the music completely stopped. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
When the lights gradually brightened again, both Andrew and Elena pulled back at the same time, breathing heavily. Their faces were flushed, eyes wide with shock and embarrassment.
Elena’s cheeks were bright red. She looked away, clearly flustered. Andrew’s heart was pounding wildly in his chest.
"I... I’m sorry," Andrew stammered, stepping back quickly. "I don’t know what came over me."
Elena touched her lips for a brief second, then composed herself, though her voice was slightly unsteady.
"No... it’s my fault too," she said softly. "I shouldn’t have... let it happen."
An awkward silence fell between them.
Andrew rubbed the back of his neck, unable to meet her eyes. "I should... I should go now."
"Yes," Elena nodded quickly, also avoiding his gaze. "It’s getting late."
They exchanged a hurried, embarrassed goodbye. Andrew practically fled the private room, while Elena stayed behind for a moment to collect herself.
The entire ride home, Andrew’s mind was in chaos. The kiss with Elena kept replaying in his head. He felt guilty, confused, and strangely aroused at the same time.
When he finally reached the apartment, Scarlett was waiting for him on the sofa. One look at his flushed face and guilty expression was enough for her sharp eyes to narrow slightly.
"You’re late," she said calmly, though her tone carried a dangerous edge. "How was the meeting?"
