Lord Game: I Have 100 Million Talents
Chapter 311 - 46: Surrender? Surrender
At the same time, he swiftly withdrew Arthas from his "Divine Descent" state. He then issued a directive to the other Divine Chosen Soldiers on standby, ordering them to board the ships immediately and head to the Deep Sea Area at full speed to prepare for the subsequent operation. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
After all, without the Ocean Giant Beasts to tie them down, the island people, no matter how skilled in naval warfare, stood no chance against the Extraordinary Dragon Cavalry circling the skies.
The two sides were no longer in the same league.
Therefore, the sooner he dispatched his troops, the faster he could sweep through the various island factions in the western seas. This would naturally bring Qin Feng one step closer to his ultimate goal of becoming the "Heaven’s Chosen Ruler."
Subsequently, under the guidance of the Kraken, who was familiar with every reef and current in these waters, Arthas successfully located two other dangerous Deep Sea Giant Beasts lurking in the depths.
Just like the Kraken, the attribute panels of these two beasts were also obscured by a mysterious power, displaying them as undetectable "Legendary Boss" level threats. Only their appearances were starkly different, each showcasing the unique ferocity and strangeness of a deep-sea overlord.
Leviathan. Its body was like a mobile underwater volcano, a full three times the length of the Kraken. It was entirely covered in jagged, dark-red rock armor, and the edge of each plate glowed with the orange-red luster of molten rock, as if it had just crawled out of a seabed crater. A scalding, sulfur-scented magma continuously seeped from the cracks, hissing and creating a white mist as it hit the seawater, forming a hazy thermal barrier around its body.
Its head was a ferocious, streamlined shape, with two massive, curved Bone Spikes jutting out from its forehead. Their tips were wreathed in an eerie blue lightning, and with every tremor, fine arcs of electricity fell into the deep sea.
Its eyes were two suspended cores of lava. Orange-red light radiated outward through translucent membranes, and wherever its gaze fell, the seawater seemed to grow faintly hot, as if being baked.
Along its spine, a row of serrated spines extended from its neck to its tail fin. The tips of these spines spewed flames half a foot long, causing the water to ripple strangely even in the high-pressure darkness of the deep sea.
The most terrifying feature was its enormous mouth. Its upper and lower jaws were lined with two rows of fangs as large as door panels. The fangs’ surfaces were covered in spiral grooves that created a powerful negative pressure when it bit down, allowing it to suck in seawater and prey from miles around. Deep within its throat, a swirling vortex of magma was faintly visible, as if it could melt an entire warship into molten iron with a single bite.
Cetus. Unlike Leviathan’s fiery nature, Cetus’s body was the ultimate dark shade of the deep sea. Its nearly transparent, ink-blue surface was covered in a layer of fine, luminous scales that shifted with the flowing water, creating faint glimmers of deep purple and cold blue, as if a starry sky had been crushed onto its skin.
It had no limbs in the traditional sense. Instead, it possessed dozens of tentacles of varying thickness. The thickest main tentacles were comparable in diameter to the mast of a Gulad Warship, their surfaces covered in suckers the size of bowls. The inside of these suckers were lined with rings of inward-facing teeth that could easily tear through steel.
The thinner tentacles were as agile as silver snakes, their tips armed with barbs glinting with Paralyzing Poison. They made almost no sound as they swayed in the water.
Its head had no distinct outline, resembling more a constantly writhing, gelatinous mass. The front of this mass was dotted with hundreds of compound eyes, each one a dark green pearl capable of detecting the faintest bio-electric currents in absolute darkness. Wherever its vision swept, not even the small fish hiding in the crevices of ocean trenches could escape detection.
Below its body, a flat tail fin like a giant bat’s wing was lined with sharp, membranous spines. A single flap could create an undercurrent strong enough to capsize a warship. From the end of the fin trailed three extremely long, luminous tendrils. They swayed in the water like lures but could actually discharge an electric current powerful enough to paralyze enormous creatures.
Even more bizarrely, small pores would occasionally open up in the middle of its tentacles, spraying out an inky poison mist. The mist could linger in the seawater for hours without dissipating, and any creature that touched it would suffer instant muscle rigidity, ultimately becoming its prey.
When it moved, its dozens of tentacles unfurled and coiled behind it like a shifting shadow from the Abyss, filling the entire deep sea with a suffocating sense of pressure.
Seeing the Kraken siding with a human, Leviathan and Cetus’s eyes filled with confusion and rage. They simply could not accept its choice.
A hoarse hiss shattered the deep-sea silence:
"HISSS! (Kraken, how could you betray the supreme law of the ocean? Are you going to forsake the dignity of the deep sea to become a vassal to a land-dweller?)"
Faced with the questioning of its kin, the Kraken remained unshaken. Its massive head swayed slightly, emitting a viscous "SLURP" sound that carried clearly through the deep sea:
"SLURP! (The strong prey on the weak—Survival of the Fittest! The weak who do not deserve to live are meant to be prey. That is the unchanging law of survival in our oceans!)"
Before it had finished, another "SLURP" followed, its tone filled with unshakeable conviction:
"SLURP! (And His Majesty Tingfeng commands a power comparable to that of the Deities! Killing us would be as easy as lifting a hand! Faced with such a powerful being, why shouldn’t I choose to submit?)"
As the saying goes, "those with different principles cannot conspire together." Leviathan and Cetus could never accept the Kraken’s choice, and the Kraken didn’t know how to convince these two Deep Sea Giant Beasts who clung to the old ways. The war of words inevitably ended in a fight.
In Leviathan and Cetus’s eyes, the two of them teaming up against the Kraken—who had always been the third-ranked and their frequent loser—should have been an easy victory.
But reality brutally defied their expectations. The current Kraken was as if it had broken free from its shackles, its state so frenzied it was like it was on drugs. Every attack carried an unprecedented ferocity, completely unlike its former self.
What made them even more wary was the seemingly frail, slender Necromancer standing atop the Kraken’s head. His explosive combat power was off the charts, and every spell he cast posed a significant threat to them.
What was especially shocking was that this guy’s physical resilience was far beyond what one could imagine.
Keep in mind, three giant monsters were currently ramming and Tearing at each other with world-destroying force. The surrounding seawater was churned like boiling magma, and even solid sea rock was shattering from the aftershocks.
Yet he stood in the center like a solid stone statue, allowing the frenzied energy blasts and sharp tentacles to sweep over him, remaining completely unscathed. Such Heaven-defying Defense Power simply defied all logic.
"Activate Lord Skills!"
"Mjolnir!"
"Boiling!"
"Celestial God Descent!"
On the other side of the battlefield, empowered by these Extraordinary Lord Skills, the combat power of the Kraken and Arthas skyrocketed.
The Kraken’s tentacles, wreathed in eerie blue energy, crashed down relentlessly. Arthas’s Undead Magic continuously tore through the deep sea. The two coordinated perfectly, managing to pin Leviathan and Cetus to the seabed and beat them mercilessly.
The health bars of the two giant beasts, which had been relatively stable, plummeted like a runaway roller coaster. In the blink of an eye, more than half was gone, and their defeat seemed imminent.
"HISSS! (This is impossible!)"
"SLURP! (Why is it impossible? It is because of this powerful strength that I chose to submit to the great His Majesty Tingfeng! If you and Leviathan are willing to submit, His Majesty Tingfeng will also grant you even greater power and allow you to break through your limits!)"
Looking at the Kraken’s current powerful form, and then at Arthas’s terrifying, cheat-like strength, Leviathan and Cetus—two Deep Sea Giant Beasts with the law of the jungle etched into their very blood—felt their once-firm convictions crack for the first time.
They couldn’t help but wonder.
’Maybe... bowing down and submitting to a land-dweller isn’t such an unacceptable thing after all?’
’As long as we can obtain greater power and become even more dominant predators, what does a little "compromise" matter!’
With that thought, the two battered and weakened Deep Sea Giant Beasts slowly turned to look at each other. No words were needed. They read the same thought in each other’s eyes:
"Yield?"
"Yield."
Two simple words sealed the final choice. The King’s War between Qin Feng and the Western Island Countries was now completely over.
