<<And not only that, the black iron mana conductivity is much weaker compare to the regular metals.>>

<<It doesn’t necessary makes the metal completely immune to magic or extremely deadly to it.>>

<<In short, putting mana into it is much harder.>>

<<However, because of its "hostile" nature towards mana, you can somewhat.... Tinker with it.>>

<<There are ways of making items even less "compatible with mana".>>

<<I tried learning how to disturb the mana flow, as means of using it as a weapon, as well as dealing with prisoners... I had once a prison break that was done by the mage using earth magic. I obviously stopped but still, it did happened.>>

<<I’ve tried impaling them before, specifically their arms in order to make them suffer when they would try to move them.... But I screwed up and they just bled to death instead.>>

<<So I kind of needed to do the whole research regarding mana disruption.>>

<<As for the anti-magic type item skills.... Well, I still.... I still have extremely hard time forging them.>>

<<The weapons and armor I can make with this black iron will not only have much bigger attack power compare to the regular iron or steel, but its pure defense would be far superior.>>

<<Obviously the first thought was to make a golem made out of black iron, which would make all of the golems abilities much higher... However, the mana disturbance is a problem.>>

<<The core veins would need to be strengthen.... But there is an easy way to change it.>>

<<Simple put, I will give my golem an "armor".>>

<<The golem will have multiple layers.>>

<<Steel layer inside and black iron outside.>>

<<The veins will be inside the golem and I can make the joints and what not out of steel, and then cover it with additional layer of black iron.>>

<<This will make the golem much stronger in terms of defense and offence.>>

<<However, black iron is bit heavier than regular iron and steel... So the speed of the golem will drop.>>

<<They may had some power and defense, but because how slow they were, it pretty much made them easy targets to beat, even for the people that were weaker than these golems.>>>

<<The golems needs specific threshold of "speed" to be useful.>>

<<Some golems can work without speed, like earth golems, since their attacks can hit a large area, or the ballista golems, which only purpose is to fire a single devastating shot.>>

<<It maybe just a different metal, but the number of combinations I can do now that I have access to is WAY bigger.>>

<<However, the black iron, again, has problems.>>

<<The better materials the body is made out of, the more cost of the golem will increase.>>

<<I’ve tried melting and mixing together black iron with regular iron.... The process was noticeable annoying.... But at the same time, it was also easy?>>

<<The durability is noticeable higher than regular iron, but the mana disturbance is much lower compare to the black iron.... Honestly, I don’t know if it worth making.... However, this experiment proven something interesting to me.>>
