Daisy Grant went downstairs, reached the company’s cafe, and saw Aidan Sutherland sitting there. She walked over with a cold expression.

"Aidan, what do you need from me?" Daisy sat across from Aidan, her attitude indifferent and distant.

Aidan called the waiter to bring Daisy a glass of lemon water.

"No need! I’m about to go back and handle some matters, Aidan, speak quickly."

She really didn’t want to spend more time with Aidan!

The waiter nodded and replied ’Okay’ to Daisy.

Aidan ignored Daisy and said to the waiter, "Bring her a glass, we’re going to sit here and chat slowly, and settle accounts!"

Aidan’s voice carried cold fierceness. Daisy understood what he meant by settling accounts, her expression hardened as she spoke coolly to the waiter, "Bring me a glass of lemon water. I’ll sit here and chat slowly with President Sutherland. The cafe is closed for business, you don’t need to attend to us anymore."

Both their tones revealed cold fierce and unusual tension, the waiter didn’t dare get involved in their affairs, served the lemon water and quickly left.

The President Grant of the Grant Clan and the President Sutherland of the Sutherland Clan were once engaged, yet now their encounter felt like bitter enemies red with rage.

After the waiter left, Daisy took a sip of her lemon water, and coldly spoke to Aidan, "Do you have anything you need from me?"

Aidan sneered, his gaze cold and fierce, his voice chillingly cold, "Daisy Grant, you’re quite something! Daring to get involved with that illegitimate son Dawn Sutherland, and even had a child with him!"

With the corner of her eye, Daisy glanced at the cafe and saw the waiter hang the closed sign, her gaze steadied significantly.

She turned back to look coldly at Aidan, a hint of sarcasm on her lips, "Do you need me to explain why my relationship with Dawn happened? Aidan, should I reveal the tactics you used against Dawn at his company’s opening party? You schemed against Dawn, yet my unexpected involvement with him unraveled your plot. Aidan, do you have the face to blame anyone?"

"That still doesn’t justify you getting into Dawn’s bed!" Aidan retorted coldly.

"Is loving Dawn reason enough?" Daisy replied, looking at Aidan with chilly eyes.

"Daisy Grant! You’re shameless! You harbored feelings for Dawn Sutherland even when you were my fiancée!"

To her, he was still less than that illegitimate child Dawn! Why?!

Daisy held her lemon water, her voice icy and cool, "I secretly loved Dawn, but I never betrayed you. Aidan, your entanglements with Elsa, what right do you have to criticize me now? Let’s part peacefully. Our relationship was always a political marriage bound by family interests, a loveless union. Now that I’ve married Dawn and you can be with Elsa, isn’t this outcome good?"

Aidan listened to Daisy’s words, his fingers clenched into a fist, the veins on his hand protruding, showing his extreme anger.

"Daisy Grant, do you believe I can ensure Dawn faces the consequences he deserves? Do you believe I can ruin his reputation?"

Having his fiancée in Dawn’s bed put him in such an uncomfortable position!

Daisy set down the glass, quietly looking at Aidan, "So what do you intend? Aidan, speak, I’ll try my best to do what I can. Dawn is still your brother, don’t be too relentless!"

"Brother?" Aidan laughed, his gaze icy, "I’ve never considered him my brother!"
