Mage Manual
Chapter 1605 - 1178: Creating the Mage’s Handbook (2)
"Very interesting, very interesting." The Extreme Master of Blood Moon showed a fierce smile, the Blood Sea roiled with his low roar: "That battle-crazed maniac won’t be regretting not being here."
"I hope when we reach the end of the road, none of us will regret our choices." The Imaginary Music Master sighed softly, as Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon enveloped the world.
"After this battle, regardless of victory or defeat, I will protect you from death, and keep the position of Vice Monarch of the Heavenly Kingdom for you." The All-knowing Weaver said sternly, "The Supreme Star offered you the Vice Monarch for your Supreme Holy Grail, but I offer you the Vice Monarch for yourself!"
Sky Garden!
Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon!
Mountain of corpses and Blood Sea!
For Diya and Dedarose, the only ones able to observe this war, all they could see was the captivating Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon and the enthralling waves of celestial sound.
Unlike the world-destroying battlefield just moments ago, the Blood Sea didn’t shoot out any residual waves, not even the observers would be harmed by the collision of Laws—elemental turbulence splash pollution was essentially a result of imperfect control over Divine Being Wonders which led to energy leakage, after all, the interaction between Wonders and the world generated many unpredictable effects, even the most elite battle Angels could only showcase 50% of the Wonder’s power, the remaining 50% depended on the environment and enemy.
But now the Divine Lords were using Six-winged thinking to drive the Secret Realm, both the world and Wonders were completely under their control, even teammate damage was accounted for, the sound waves, Blood Magic, and Wind, Flower, three entirely different forces perfectly matched together, forming an extremely splendid, extremely ferocious calamity that pulverized everything before them!
They had considered fighting side by side, but in their imagination, the enemy would be at least other Divine Lords of the same rank if not the Supreme Star.
Even the strongest Prophet Mage in history couldn’t predict that the first time the three Divine Lords joined forces in thousands of years, the enemy would only be a Demigod!
No one can escape unscathed from the joint force of the three Divine Lords, unless they are a monster transcending the Divine Lords.
The Mirror Demon casually picked up his twin swords, it seemed he hadn’t wielded a sword for a long time, swinging with some unfamiliarity. He walked leisurely within the magic storm, the divine sword blade precisely extinguishing the weakest nodes of the Wonders, either dissolving the offensive or guiding the redirecting, the destructive divine power of the Divine Lords became a toy in his hands, arbitrarily kneading and altering, even able to counteract their offensive!
He advanced leisurely, wielding his sword with ease, at one time all kinds of disasters couldn’t touch him, inside the sword’s blade was a realm of purity. It was known that as long as he was even slightly injured, shed a drop of blood, the "Blood Source Curse" and "Moon Crystal" would immediately activate, completely solidifying his thoughts.
This time the Divine Lords wouldn’t give Silver Lamp any chance to interfere with the battle, but there was never any mistake, just relying on his not-so-mature divine swordsmanship, he perfectly controlled the pace of the war, even the All-knowing Weaver’s sound waves landed on him only to stir a shallow glowing ripple, not even breaking through a barrier!
The All-knowing Weaver knew the details of "Refraction Protection," for this reason she modified her sound technique Wonder, each sound wave consisted of billions of sound waves, if Ash still relied on "Refraction Protection," the All-knowing Weaver could instantly destroy his defenses!
But now draped on Ash wasn’t "Refraction Protection," but the newly constructed "Refraction Prism" by the Mirror Demon. Compared to Refraction Protection, the new Wonder only had one additional trait: only when cumulative damage reached a certain level would it consume one layer of refraction; if instant damage exceeded the threshold, it would still only consume one layer of refraction.
The already extremely practical refraction now had its final shortcoming remedied.
The Mirror Demon was like an unnaturally dry passer-by amidst a rainstorm, in an incredible posture guiding the Divine Lords’ offensive. Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon couldn’t stop his steps, multifarious sound waves couldn’t interfere with his mind, the mountain of corpses and Blood Sea became a smooth path before him.
But the Divine Lords weren’t worried, not to mention Ash couldn’t maintain an invincible divine state infinitely, even if he could never expose any flaw, his Source Power would still keep consuming. Meanwhile, the Divine Lords not only had ample Source Crystal reserves, but more importantly, they didn’t need to consume Source Power at all—the Eternal Wonders, once in full swing, all consumption was borne by the World Secret Domain, unless the World Secret Domain was exhausted, this magic storm would never cease!
Even with victory within grasp, a persistent puzzle remained in their hearts:
Where is he trying to go?
Initially, they thought Ash wanted to rendezvous with others, heading towards the Ancient Battlefield, but none of the routes would encounter the Sword Witch and them.
Leisurely, the Mirror Demon swung his sword to dispel law, dispersing the world-destroying magic storm into elemental turbulence, forming a faintly blurred rainbow in his wake. Compared to the three Divine Lords, at this moment he rather seemed like the projection of the Supreme King on earth, proceeding to the Ancient Battlefield to seize a staff capable of turning the tides of war, slaying all rebellious ministers daring to challenge authority!
Soon, the Divine Lords knew his destination: Werewolf Temple!
After the Werewolf’s demise, the Magic Temple fell onto the Ancient Battlefield’s earth, but the three Eternal Wonders had already vanished without a trace, because Sonia had seized the Ancient Battlefield, the Eternal Wonders naturally transferred to her Magic Temple. The Eternal Wonders weren’t bound to the Magic Temple, but shifted along with the World Secret Domain.
Though they didn’t know why Ash wanted to go to the now-empty Werewolf Temple, it didn’t hinder the Divine Lords from preemptively thwarting his plan—the All-knowing Weaver played skyful waves, smashing the Werewolf Temple into ruins!
Suddenly the Mirror Demon accelerated his pace, his divine twin swords whirling like a windmill, dispersing Wind, Flower, sound waves, Blood Sea into hazy light images, forging an unstoppable path through the magic storm. But when he arrived at the Werewolf Temple, the sight before him was even more desolate than the rest of the Ancient Battlefield—the Extreme Master of Blood Moon and the Imaginary Music Master fearful the All-knowing Weaver wasn’t thorough enough, each cast spells bombarding the Werewolf Temple several times.
Never did Vester as a Werewolf imagine himself achieving an unprecedented feat in his lifetime: he became the only Demigod to have his grave repeatedly dug up by three Divine Lords.
However, the Mirror Demon seemed indifferent to the completeness of the Werewolf Temple, he drove a sword deep into the temple’s ground, single-handedly fending off the precarious magic storm of the three Divine Lords. He spread his left hand, chanting an ancient ballad, commencing an unprecedented ceremony.
Under the startled eyes of the Divine Lords, the shattered Magic Temple was pulled by unknown laws, countless streams of information hidden in the crevices of brick and tile flowed together in Ash’s hands, weaving cover, pages, spine...until fully materialized, only then did the three Divine Lords dare to affirm what Ash was executing.
He was creating the Mage’s Handbook!
