Baek Jeho just rolled his eyes, but it was obvious that he didn’t mind that his mother was taking Cho Euntak’s side already.

"Auntie?"

Cho Euntak smiled shyly. "Mother-in-law."

Baek Jeho’s mother smiled approvingly.

"And thank you for giving us your blessing," Cho Euntak said. "I’ll take care of Jeho."

"Yes, I leave my son to you," his future mother-in-law said, smiling as if she were relieved. And then she even joked: "No takebacks, Euntak-ah. I’m giving you my son, no refunds allowed."

Cho Euntak laughed softly.

Baek Jeho, on the other hand, playfully glared at his mother. "You’re so mean, Eomma."

"On a serious note, you are the first person that Jeho brought home to introduce to me as his partner, Euntak-ah," his future mother-in-law said. "My son may be lacking as a human being. That’s on me. I failed to raise him properly."

Baek Jeho flinched. "Eomma..."

"Please be extra patient with our Jeho, Euntak-ah," Baek Jeho’s mother said while smiling apologetically. "I hope you two grow together."

"Of course, Mother-in-law," Cho Euntak assured Baek Jeho’s mother. "Jeho and I promised to take care of each other."

Cho Euntak thought his meeting with his future mother-in-law went well.

Mother-in-law liked the present that I brought, and she ’gave’ Baek Jeho to me. Thankfully, she likes me for her one and only son.

All those thoughts were in Cho Euntak’s mind while lying down on Baek Jeho’s bed.

They were still in his boyfriend’s mother’s house.

But after talking to his future mother-in-law, they went to Baek Jeho’s bedroom to rest.

"Euntak-ah, are you trying to seduce me?"

Cho Euntak’s eyes fell on Baek Jeho, who was standing next to the bed while looking down at him with lustful eyes. "Hold it in, Jeho-ya. We’re not doing anything inappropriate in your mother’s house."

"This is my room."

"I locked the door."

Baek Jeho gave Cho Euntak puppy-dog eyes. "Can we at least kiss?"

Baek Jeho immediately sat on the edge of the bed, putting his hands on either side of Cho Euntak’s head while leaning down.

Cho Euntak closed his eyes, and it didn’t take long before Baek Jeho’s lips touched his.

But that was it.

Baek Jeho’s kisses were always like that— gentle, chaste, careful.

Cho Euntak nodded shyly, and then he closed his eyes— letting Baek Jeho take the lead.

And...oh, my.

The first time Baek Jeho’s tongue plunged deep into Cho Euntak’s mouth, he felt like a new world had opened to him.

Cho Euntak smiled after reading Baek Jeho’s text message.

He was currently waiting for his boyfriend in his favorite café.

It was a concept café, to be precise— the one where Cho Euntak, Hong Sera, and Park Sohee often met.

They like the place’s unique design.

Inside the café, walls, counters, furniture, and even the utensils were crafted to look like two-dimensional drawings that had come to life.

Just like the whole strawberry shortcake that he ordered looked like a 2D dessert.

Of course, that was the same for the cup of the latte that he ordered, which was currently being served to him.

"Enjoy your coffee, sir."

Cho Euntak lifted his head and smiled at the male staff, but before he could say ’thank you,’ something unfortunate happened.

A child came out of nowhere and bumped into the staff.

As a result, the staff dropped the hot latte on Cho Euntak’s hand, and the coffee tragically trickled down his legs— causing him to stand up and bite his cheeks to prevent himself from crying.

"I’m so sorry, sir...!"

Cho Euntak couldn’t say anything because he was in pain.
