The blades worked! Joy filled Cheng Zongyang’s heart.

He wasn’t in a hurry. He went over, piled on more firewood, poured more Tung Oil, lit the fire, and retreated—all in one smooth motion.

However, as thick smoke continued to pour into the cave, there was still no reaction after about fifteen minutes. Cheng Zongyang’s brows furrowed slightly.

Minimizing his breathing, he proceeded cautiously. Finally, the space in front of him opened up, becoming wide and spacious instead of cramped.

He had reached the end!

By the dim light of the torch, Cheng Zongyang saw the Spider King lying motionless on the ground! He also took in his surroundings—a cavern deep within the mountain.

The space was about the size of a basketball court.
