Mana Scan: To scan a body and see if there is any problem with it, a person sends their mana inside another person’s body and observes it, including the mana core and everything else, to determine if there is anything wrong.

Of course, you can send your mana inside another person’s body forcefully, but doing so will result in damage to that person’s mana core and body. Therefore, you need the person’s permission before sending your mana into their body.

Giving such permission is dangerous if given to the wrong person because that person can destroy your mana core if they want to. For that reason, it is a sensitive matter and is only done by someone whom you can trust. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

As soon as Aelar spoke those words, the atmosphere turned serious. Everyone present shifted their gaze toward Asher, waiting for his response.

From a distance, Elisa watched Aelar with a displeased expression before speaking.

"Is that really necessary? If there were something wrong with him, his family would have already discovered it. I don’t see any reason to proceed with this."

Aelar turned to her and replied calmly, "I’m simply considering the possibility that it may be something recent—something that could pose a threat to his health. If that’s the case, it would be better to examine it before it’s too late."

Elisa frowned before turning her attention to Asher.

"You don’t have to agree if you don’t want to," she said. "Although I doubt I need to tell you that."

Asher glanced at Elisa before looking at Aelar.

"I don’t have any objections," he replied. "To be honest, I’m curious about what the spirit saw as well."

He then looked directly at Aelar and added, "And I don’t believe Professor Aelar is careless enough to make a mistake during a mana scan."

Everyone present understood the true meaning behind the word "mistake."

Aelar nodded.

"Don’t worry. I’ll be careful. There’s nothing for you to be concerned about."

With that, he extended his hand and placed it on Asher’s shoulder, preparing to send his mana into Asher’s body.

However, before he could begin, a voice echoed directly within his mind.

It was Elisa.

"I know you’re not foolish enough to make any mistakes," she said, "but I’ll remind you anyway. If anything happens to this child, that man will lose the last of his restraint and come after you—perhaps even me as well."

Her tone grew colder.

"And when that happens, death will be the least of our concerns. The only reason he has remained silent since her death is because of him. And I believe you already know this better than anyone—if that man truly decides to find you, there is nowhere on this planet you can hide. No place that can protect you."

Aelar remained silent for a moment before replying through the same mental connection.

"You don’t need to remind me."

A faint seriousness appeared in his eyes.

"I’ve witnessed that man’s strength with my own eyes, and there is no one in this world I fear more than him. Before he earned the title of Void Swordsman, he was known by another name..."

Aelar paused briefly.

"The Void Reaper."

Elisa said nothing further and simply kept her gaze fixed on Aelar.

Aelar closed his eyes and directed his mana into Asher’s body to examine his condition.

Since Asher offered no resistance, the mana entered his body without difficulty.

A serious and concentrated expression settled on Aelar’s face as he carefully inspected every aspect of Asher’s condition.

Two minutes later, he slowly opened his eyes and withdrew his hand from Asher’s shoulder.

His expression carried a mixture of relief and confusion.

Elisa looked at Aelar and asked in his mind, "What did you find?"

Aelar looked at Elisa and replied, "Nothing. There is nothing wrong with him. Everything is completely normal. His body is healthy, his mana is in the best condition it could possibly be, and there is nothing foreign inside his body, nor is there any trace of anything unusual."

Elisa then looked towards Roselia spirit and then asked "So what about spirits,do you think they are simply scared of him and not of something inside him, and what that spirit just said was wrong "

Aelar glanced at the spirit and then looked at Elisa and said "I don’t know"

Everyone else was stills waiting for explanation from Professor Aelar but none of them said anything.

Seeing the serious expression on everyone face, Elisa said in serious tone "It nothing, it seems spirit are just scared of him because of high will and nothing else"

Aelar also nodded at her words and said "Yeah that seems to be the only reason, so you guys can continue to try to interact with spirits without any worry "

After listening to the explanations given by Elisa and Aelar, the students said nothing and simply nodded. Most of them believed their explanation, though not all of them. Students like Aria, Roselia, Leon, and Celestine still appeared unconvinced.

Then students started to went towards spirits again, to try to form a contract.

Aelar then looked at Asher and said, "Asher, even if you can’t interact with them, you can still observe them. Or, if you prefer, you may simply leave."

Asher replied calmly, "I’ll just observe, then."

Aelar nodded at his response before walking over to Elisa.

A few moments later, Asher’s teammates approached him, then Aria asked "Are you sure you are okay "

Asher looked at her and said, "I’m perfectly fine. Everyone was just overreacting to the spirit’s explanation about why the spirits are afraid of me."

Aria looked at him silently for a moment before eventually nodding.

Adam and Noah had wanted to ask the same question, but Aria had already beaten them to it. After hearing Asher’s answer, they chose not to say anything further.

Asher then looked at the three of them and said calmly, "Why are you even here? You should be trying to form a contract with a spirit if you can."

The three of them looked at him carefully for a moment, as if searching for anything unusual. However, after finding nothing out of the ordinary, they simply nodded and left to try forming a contract with a spirit.
