Mech: Shattering of the Galaxy
Chapter 1639 - 155: Mu Fan’s Strategy
As all the natives of Barbaric Ascension Star wandered in confusion over the sudden silence, only Mu Fan knew that the Saint Luo Clan’s warship was preparing to leave.
The spore mist was used to obscure vision.
Obviously, the flagship has sent a signal to those fighters.
Biochemical combat bodies have already begun to gather separately.
The hatch under the warship started to open, though under the cover of the spore mist, the number of transport ships emerging from it seemed indiscernible.
But...
"Accelerate retrieval; if that damn Mechanical Knight notices, immediately halt all operations and withdraw directly!"
"What about that black Mechanical Knight."
In the Saint Luo Clan’s technological civilization, there was once a period of mechanical civilization progress, unfortunately overshadowed by the immense strength of the Saint Luo bloodline, along with the ideology of self-reliance inherited across generations, and the appearance of the Saint Luo Envoy representing ultimate martial power.
After a brief few decades of development, mechanical civilization quietly vanished into the currents of history.
Not to mention that over five universes that worshiped mechanical civilization were eventually eroded by the Saint Luo Clan.
But unexpectedly, why has this kind of completely irrational Mechanical Knight appeared!
"Captain... that Mechanical Knight disappeared from optical monitoring equipment..." A strained voice sounded nearby, as the deputy’s eyes lacked the inherent arrogance expected of the Saint Luo High-purity People, instead filled with terror.
"Disappeared!? What about the Peepers!"
Frey roared loudly towards the rear.
Those Peepers, with their protracted eyeballs and peculiar appearances, currently held crystal balls that glowed glaringly bright in their hands.
The response to Frey was a prolonged silence.
Despite exerting themselves to the utmost, even with the ability to instantaneously discern star systems, none of them discovered that... Black Mecha!
"No trace to be found."
"No electromagnetic signal."
"Infrared detection failed."
"Microwave detection failed."
"Pulse detection failed."
"Continuous wave detection failed."
...
A series of red responses displayed on the light screen, bringing Frey deep frustration and an overwhelming sense of rising panic within.
None of them discovered where the enemy could be?
Might they have already departed?
Indeed, from the beginning that Mecha had no intention of antagonizing the fleet; if not for Lord August stepping in, they would never have surfaced.
Frey could only use this thought to convince himself.
"Why haven’t those transport ships flown out yet?!" Frey angrily shouted at the lower levels, he hadn’t been this furious for a long time.
"Captain, the catapult device is overheating; three seconds until launch."
Frey stifled his inner agitation, no longer speaking, though his expression was rather bleak.
...
As the Saint Luo Fleet entered a tense flurry of activity, unbeknownst to all, a 200-meter-long Bone Whale silently floated 3,000 meters above the warship.
On the head of the Bone Whale stood a Black Mecha, blood-red eyes calmly watching below, none other than the Emperor Body Shura Frey sought but couldn’t find!
Its molten vein network concealed, the throbbing Heart of Shura reverted to a half-blooming Red Lotus breathing mode.
What seemed peculiar at this moment was that Shura together with the Bone Fly underfoot, like overlapping shadows, constantly stretched yet intersected uniformly.
Like a singular object from different planes repeatedly layered upon itself.
Only by standing right in front could one truly discern it.
From a hundred meters afar, it appeared merely to be... an empty cloud layer.
"This cosmic creature can briefly assimilate its body and nearby space into a quantum state; if not for Shura having that wickedly effective phase-cancelling cloak, you’d never catch it... You really lucked out."
Black murmured in admiration.
Shura shared limited data with Black, enough for Black to calculate the current environmental circumstances.
Given Shura’s immunity to all conventional energy detection, and combined with Bone Fly’s spatial alteration capability, it patched Shura’s ultimate weakness.
Comparing the enemy to a fully armed army, Shura equipped with Bone Fly was akin to an invisible enormous yield neutron bomb!
For instance, those foolish creatures below still haven’t seen...
In Lord Black’s database, the escape probability of the Saint Luo Fleet had dwindled to 0%.
Indeed, 0%.
Despite scientific rigor dictating against such absolutes — even a billionth chance shouldn’t reduce to 0 — clearly, in Black’s view, these Saint Luo people... 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"You’ve chosen the wrong side."
Lord Black lamented.
Mu Fan naturally couldn’t hear Black’s inner thoughts, just watching below at those dispersed four warships, a notion surfacing in his mind.
Perhaps he’s found a way to save the White Armor Tribe.
But... would they be willing?
Crouching, under armor, the nanomuscles swelled instantly, Shura leaping high into the air.
The moment it exited phase cloak’s cover, those all-seeing Peepers immediately affixed on target.
"Target spotted——"
Boom!
Before the alarm fully sounded, the bridge was suddenly and violently shaken.
Afterward, a sense of weightlessness arose from below.
"The warship is descending!"
"Engine location experiencing intense spatial wave interference, engine power declining!"
"Mobility reduced to 85%, 79%, 66%..."
Frey, filled with rage and dread, looked towards the 3D sand table.
Only to see upper portions of the virtual image, a Mecha lowering its hand, four streams of blood-colored flames streaming like meteors through the sky.
The warship was ambushed!
The main ship’s power of the Guerrilla Fleet was being suppressingly contained by a Mechanical Knight.
This wasn’t about comparing firepower — this was a 4,000-meter Heavy Battlecruiser!
Was that Mechanical Knight’s engine... a star?
A thought flashed through his mind.
Boom!
The entire spaceship was forcefully pressed into the ground.
All Saint Luo warriors were thrown heavily; their Saint Luo blood assured they wouldn’t suffer major injuries from such a state, but the pain was inevitable.
What is the enemy planning!
Frey wanted to quickly signal other warships to retreat, but once sent, the signal vanished like stones into the sea.
"Phase interference..."
Frey’s face pallid, as he saw a Bone Whale-like creature floating above the warship, softly twisting its body.
"Damned creature!"
Saint Luo Envoy’s mount turned against them.
Without the suppression by the Saint Luo Envoy, capabilities of such cosmic creatures for them... were an unsolvable existence!
Creating regional space overlaps disrupted engine work while completely isolating signal transmission!
"Switch to biological engine under invasion warfare mode, we must leave!"
An insidious expression appeared on Frey’s face.
Hardly had he finished speaking.
Boom!
Boom boom!
A sequence of three intense shockwaves surged around.
As the dust spread, all three remaining warships in the sky were pressed into the ground.
Deprived of distance, these warships capable of annihilating planets became akin to toothless tigers.
Their advantage in firepower dissolved entirely against Shura’s super stealth and super mobility.
Bone Fly wagged its tale in a flattery motion, its phase interference shrouding all four warships.
"Plan commences."
In whispered soliloquy, Shura half-knelt on the ground, a figure descended lightly, dark golden armor fully enveloping them under dim green light.
Buzz~
Curved Light Scythe Blade activated.
Mu Fan landed atop the largest flagship.
"Evil Wing, assist the White Armor Tribe against the Beast Tide and remaining enemies."
"Black, begin taking over the First Stage of this warship."
Mu Fan ghostly stepped inside that open yet ungathered hatch.
Poof!
Inside the hatch, two Saint Luo warriors operating the light control platform instantly stiffened.
A blood line cleaved from one side to the other.
The ghostly green energy blocked the yellow blood, and two severed bodies plummeted heavily to the ground.
