Lee Wooshin yanked loose his tuxedo bow tie and hurriedly unzipped her dress.

Seoryeong had just driven him here to the hunting lodge in the battered jeep she’d borrowed from the innkeeper.

The two clutched each other’s backs and heads, mouths crashing together in a frenzy. His hot tongue pressed deep into the inner membranes, then swept up in a slow, deliberate stroke. He pushed endlessly into her parted lips, crushing and tangling inside her mouth.

Even in the dark, their hands roamed each other’s bodies. His impatient lips landed anywhere—cheeks, jaw, nape—colliding without care. He shrugged off his jacket without ever breaking the kiss. Like a starving man, he sucked at every spot he could reach, yet his hunger seemed unending.

“Where even is this place?”

“A place that’ll be our memory for a long, long time.”

“But if we screw around in a place like this, there’ll be all kinds of ticks—”

While Wooshin frowned, glancing around the pitch-dark storage room, Seoryeong struck a match and lit the scented candles she’d prepared. A small, carefully decorated space revealed itself.

A round spread of plush quilted blankets lay on the floor, with a cute picnic basket and cushions arranged neatly. He broke off mid-sentence to look at her, his eyes widening in surprise.

“We’ve never done it outside before.”

She pointed upward. The roof was just a skeleton of steel beams now, and through them, the stars spilled wide across the sky.

Struck silent by the sight, he quietly undid the rest of his shirt buttons. Still, he didn’t seem to want to lay her on the floor—he sat down first.

Seoryeong slipped the straps off her shoulders and climbed onto him. His head pressed into the white, soft breasts exposed to the night air.

“Hh...”

A pointed tongue pressed her nipple. He took in a mouthful of breast, sucking hard at the tautly swollen areola. The small bud flattened under his mouth, then sprang back up again and again. She cradled his head as he sucked.

“Uh... ha...”

No—something was wrong. Very wrong. She frowned as she watched Wooshin’s clear, focused eyes.

Why... isn’t the drug working?

Her expression hardened as she looked down at her saliva-wet nipple. She was sure she’d laced his drink with tranquilizer—unless she’d somehow grabbed an animal aphrodisiac instead? No... that couldn’t be... When he suddenly grabbed her ass, the unease grew sharper.

This bastard... isn’t human?

Animal tranquilizer didn’t do much if swallowed—it was meant for injection—so she’d stolen some from the hunting lodge and dissolved a large amount in his water.

A lot. Enough to push him into unconsciousness. Using an animal sedative on a person wasn’t just illegal—it was attempted murder—but she now regretted not dosing him harder.

“Bend over.”

His hand slipped under her underwear and down to her cleft. After stroking her firmly shut folds for a moment, he seemed unsatisfied and flipped her over.

“Don’t touch the ground—hands on my knees only.”

Wooshin yanked her panties down to her thighs and buried his face between her ass.

“Wait—!”

“You’re the one who wanted to do it here.”

“Uh...!”

“Good girl. Just watch the stars for a minute. I’ll be quick.”

Lowering his head like a feral dog, he licked up along her perineum. This—ah... no— Slurping, sticky caresses made her bite her lower lip. The thought of her sex laid bare from behind made her flush hot.

When is the drug going to kick in?! His wide tongue licked and pressed her narrow hole.

No... She tried to crawl away, but he wrapped his arms around her thighs and bit down on her folds like a clam shell.

“Huuh...!”

Then he buried his face deep, soaking the puffed flesh until it felt ready to burst. The obscene sound of him greedily sucking down her flowing arousal reached her ears.

She’d put in plenty of drug—so why—!

“Wait, wait—”

She twisted, but Wooshin pinned her down, spearing her hole with his stiffened tongue tip. Pressing harder, he slid in smoothly.

“Haa, no, wait—!”

As his wet tongue thrust in and out, Seoryeong ground her teeth, moaning. He pried her pressed-together groin wider, twisting his head as if kissing her.

Each time he dipped into the pooled wetness and pulled out, it made a slick, squelching sound. He was the one who’d been drugged, yet her eyes were starting to glaze over.

“Hhh... huuh...!”

His damp breath and sharp nose rubbed mercilessly against her. Her sex throbbed like it might explode, her arms trembling violently. Every time his neat teeth bit at tender flesh, her vision flared white. She felt she might pitch forward onto her face.

“Han Seoryeong, what did you put in me without telling me?”

“What...! Don’t talk nonsense!”

“Why get so defensive? You could’ve just scooped something on your fingers and shoved it in.”

“Goddamn...”

“Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense.”

“Hh...”

“Why are you sweeter now? The smell is—fuck—it’s driving me—”

His once-crisp voice suddenly began to slacken, his words slurring as if drunk. The lips that had been sucking at her slick folds paused.

Counting silently in her head, Seoryeong glanced back to see drowsiness creeping into his eyes.

“...Ha...”

Finally, the drug seemed to be taking hold. Anyone else would’ve gone down long ago. She’d dosed him just before they got in the jeep—how long had he been holding out?

Dropping the humiliating position, she pulled away. Even as he fell limp, he still nipped at her folds with his teeth, making her face burn.

You crazy bastard... Pleasure still churned low in her belly, but his hand dropped away, limp.

“——”

Blinking unfocused eyes, he eventually let his head slump. Seoryeong brushed the hair back from his forehead.

Goodbye. Sleep well.

When you open your eyes, your hell begins.

She dragged a coiled chain from the corner and bound his wrists—one end to a protruding nail, the other to the opposite side. With both arms secured, ❖ Nоvеl𝚒ght ❖ (Exclusive on Nоvеl𝚒ght) there was no way he could free himself.

She rattled the knots to check them again. The landlady had said it had once held down a raging animal—it wouldn’t break for him.

Just in case he woke, she picked up a hunting rifle, ready to smash the butt into his head.

She didn’t relax, even with his erection tenting the front of his pants, his breathing slow and steady.

Minutes passed.

It’s fine... it’s fine... Watching his still form, she let out a long breath.

On your wedding day, nothing could be worse than the bride disappearing in front of you. Still in her slip, Seoryeong finally turned her back.

“...Seoryeong.”

A low voice suddenly caught her ankle. Instinctively chambering a round, she spun around—to find Wooshin’s eyes still closed, lips moving.

She couldn’t tell if he was sleep-talking. He was bound perfectly—no real danger—yet her spine went cold.

“Where are you going.”

He was looking at her with jet-black eyes. But his body seemed languid; he only blinked slowly.

Turning his head, Wooshin rattled his bound wrists. The clink of metal echoed with a strange menace.

After shaking them a few times, he stopped and stilled his shoulders. A thin, cold smile spread across his lips.

“So this is what you were doing?”

Seoryeong froze. No more masks, no more pretenses—she showed her bare face like wiping off bridal makeup.

“...You knew?”

“Knew what.”

He blinked slowly, then gave a short laugh.

“That I was letting you have your way?”

“...!”

“Undo this, Seoryeong.”

His hoarse voice brushed her ear. His steady gaze held hers.

“How would I know what’s in my Seoryeong’s head? I just guessed.”

“......”

“Still, I was glad you said we should get married.”

“......”

“I was so fucking happy, Seoryeong.”

He licked his lips like he was thirsty.

“Why’d your heart change?”

“......”

“You’re the one who told me not to wear a condom.”

“Shut your mouth...”

Anger flared at his calm face, making her voice tremble without realizing.

“Cut the fucking act, Kim Hyeon.”

“...!”

She saw his expression harden.

“You were the NIS black operative—Masca.”

Suddenly, the rush of wings covered the ceiling above. Raptors began gathering through the open roof.

For an instant, Wooshin looked completely blindsided—but then the helplessness faded.

And what remained wasn’t the instructor, nor Kim Hyeon. His bleached, empty face looked inert and tired.

She’d never seen this face before—but it felt like the real Wooshin, NIS operative: inorganic, devoid of heat or cold.

No sign of agitation. Just unnerving detachment, a hint of distaste, and, beneath frozen skin, a thread of unease.

“How did you know?”

It felt like the thin wire of her nerves snapped. A ringing whine filled her ears; her breath caught. Maybe the detonator had gone off long before.

She dragged a rusty bucket from the corner, scooped up handfuls of coagulated, rotting blood, and hurled them at his head and face.

“How did I know? How?!”

The stench clung as she pelted him again and again. The wet thuds turned his head with each blow. Above, the birds on the beams stirred at the scent of blood.

But Wooshin only mulled over the past, even with the thick gore sliding into his mouth.

“Ah... was it then? The day you called Heo Channa on the phone you stole.”

“...!”

“Right after you left the interrogation room, I heard you’d gotten into trouble with the police. I checked your movements, found the stolen phone, and there was Heo Channa’s number. I felt like shit then too—why didn’t you call me first?”

“......”

“What did I miss... where did I fail... fuck...”

A hollow laugh dropped with a clump of dried blood. His muttering made her chest feel icy.

Even with his mind clouding from the drug, the operative Wooshin still couldn’t let go of his mission.

“You son of a bitch, that’s what you have to say right now?!”

Her scream made the birds open their beaks.

“You were Kim Hyeon! You were Kim Hyeon from the start!”

She wanted to spit in his face, crush his heart, leave him with a scar that would never heal. Kicking over the bucket, she dumped the entire contents over his torso.

“Now you know what it’s like—unable to see me even when I’m right in front of you!”

The raptors, whipped into a frenzy, blotted out her vision as they lunged blackly toward them.
