Chapter 1150: Skip The Theatrics

The Demon King and God arrived at the same time, both of them attacking from different positions, the Demon King from above, the God from below.

Anthony didn’t panic, instead, he moved, his body blurring as he met both attacks with brutal efficiency, the air collapsing outward in bursts of concentric rings. He met the gaze of the Demon King and the God, and in a blur, they all vanished in a flickering motion that surpassed any scale of measurement known to mankind.

One a blur of pure white.

Another a blur of pitch black darkness.

The last a blur of radiant gold.

The golden blur and black blur slammed endlessly into the white blur with relentless continuity.

Fist met fist.

Knee met knee.

Strength met strength.

Speed met speed.

Martial arts against pure martial arts.

No techniques, no abilities, no skills, no magic.

Whenever they appeared, destruction followed. Ravines tore open, chasms yawned wide as though the abyss itself was finally opening up to swallow the heavens whole. Sound itself lagged behind as it dared not keep up with these beings that had defied existence and boundaries since their births... no, since their inception... since their very genesis.

The sounds of bodies collapsing into one another echoed continuously as they moved endlessly, crossing kilometers within fractions of a second, their speed climbing higher and higher, their strength increasing further and further with every exchange.

Trees fell, the air screamed, shockwaves and blast waves thundered outward like catastrophic storms, mountains fell, hills were obliterated, and within the span of only a couple seconds they had already leveled almost everything on the Rogue Planet, and within mere fractions of a second they had already circled around it countless times.

Truly, they were behemoths in their own right, calamities given form. But even amongst calamities, even amongst behemoths, one always stood above the rest.

Although both the God and Demon King were using their respective energies, Anthony didn’t bother. His pure physical body was enough to handle even their enhanced states without difficulty.

Anthony’s eyes darted within their sockets as he tracked every single attack with ridiculous ease. Although it was a two-against-one battle, it didn’t bother him in the slightest. He remained calm, his movements flawless, his execution of basic martial skills still as effortless and refined as possible.

Although the Demon King and God were partnering up in a battle for the first time, their coordination spoke the opposite; their cooperation was seamless as though they’d known each other for ages. But Anthony understood that they were able to accomplish this so easily because of billions of years of combat experience; with such experience, synergy with anyone was effortless.

The Demon King attacked from the front with an elbow strike, Anthony simply met it with his own elbow attack, then, using his left hand, he unleashed a devastating punch into the Demon King’s body that sent him sliding backward violently.

God closed in instantly, attempting to make use of the opening, but Anthony’s foot shot upward like a dart, his heel collapsing upon the God’s jaw, his head snapping sideways with a sickening crack.

But the God didn’t pause, in that same motion, he lowered himself as he balanced on one hand and unleashed a high kick towards Anthony’s head with the force of a burning sun. Anthony, seeing the attack, simply raised a hand and blocked with effortless ease. He immediately launched a counterattack, his fist tearing violently into the God’s gut.

But God simply spun to the side upon his hands as though they were his true legs.

The Demon King erased the distance once again with fiercer attacks this time, his fists shooting outward like meteors. Anthony immediately turned towards him, his hands blurring as he met every attack with smooth and effortless motion.

Without missing a beat, Anthony unleashed an uppercut, his fist connecting heavily with the Demon King’s jaw, but before the Demon King could even ascend upward from the force of the attack, Anthony’s feet left the earth, his heel connecting with the Demon King’s chin like a magnet drawn irresistibly towards steel.

The Demon King’s body immediately snapped sideways like a kite caught within a violent storm.

The moment Anthony completed that attack, he immediately squatted down. The instant he ducked, a side open-palm strike sliced through the location where his head had been a mere moment earlier, space itself ripping apart under the force of the God’s attack.

Anthony didn’t merely dodge, the instant he evaded, his foot lashed outward like a venomous viper towards the God’s ankles as he attempted to shatter them and break his stance completely. But God simply raised his leg, and Anthony’s foot flashed past with a deadly swooshing sound.

But Anthony didn’t pause there either. He immediately unleashed another kick, linking his missed attack into the next one with seamless continuity as though both attacks had always been one singular motion from the very beginning, an upward high kick shooting forward towards the God’s jaw from his lowered position.

The God’s palm immediately blurred forward, catching the sole of Anthony’s foot, and without hesitation, he spun violently to smash Anthony into the ground with savage force and overwhelming intensity.

As Anthony’s body was about to slam into the earth, he immediately caught himself with his hands, his face and body merely inches away from impact. Using his hands, he pushed off the ground as he twisted mid-motion, his free leg snapping outward as it connected heavily with the God’s chest in a brutal stomp.

With a booming sound, the God shot backward violently, his body twisting through the air before finally coming to a halt. As he had already let go of Anthony’s foot due to the force of the attack, Anthony landed calmly upon his feet with effortless ease.

The Demon King’s body flashed back into place as he appeared beside the God, both of them floating midair while staring at the impossibility standing before them. They, who had spent billions upon billions of years refining their hand-to-hand combat, couldn’t even land a single proper hit upon him. It left an incredibly bitter taste within their nonexistent tongues and mouths.

They understood that, at this moment, hand-to-hand combat was futile. It was simply better to use something else entirely. But they already knew the katana was Anthony’s true specialty, not hand-to-hand combat, meaning his experience and mastery in that field would be even more terrifying.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I’m kind of loving this get-together!" Anthony spoke as he laughed loudly without restraint. The normal him would have simply smiled like the calm and handsome man he usually was.

"Why don’t you stop this futile struggle and get serious?" his laughter twisted into a grin as he walked forward slowly. "Why wait a few more days for the invasion? Just start it now since we are all here. Summon your forces, summon your true bodies, unleash your hidden cards, let’s fight to our hearts’ contents with everything everyone has," as he walked, his battle intent rippled outward scaling higher and higher with every word he spoke.

"Come, skip the theatrics. I’m sure it’s been a few million years since either of you had some real fun," Anthony stated finally as he came to a stop before them, his presence bearing down upon the Rogue Planet itself while his eyes gleamed with excitement for what was yet to come.
