Since the Angels could help the Human Race repel the Beastman Tribe under those circumstances, facing a force that is not as strong as the Beastman Tribe now, the Angels seem to have no intention in that direction. Otherwise, if the Angels truly wanted to deal with the Human Race, the upper levels of the Human Race actually don’t believe they would have any ability to resist the Angels’ threat.

With the situation turning out this way, after the Angels revealed their formidable power, everyone naturally had some apprehension when facing them.

While preparing for those Angels on one side, the upper levels of the Human Race are even more reluctant to provoke them. After all, the Human Race itself has no ability to contend with those Angels. If they unintentionally offend those Angels greatly, they might get angered, and the Angels could simply slaughter the Human Race.

However, despite their wariness toward the Angels, the upper levels of the Human Race still couldn’t put aside their doubts, but after seeing the Angels’ performance, they couldn’t help but have other thoughts.

In the view of the upper levels of the Human Race at the time, the Angels indeed seemed unreliable, and even now, those people still hold that view. Nevertheless, although they truly found the Human Race unreliable at the time, if possible, the upper levels of the Human Race couldn’t help but have the idea of using those Angels.

The Angels are not easy to use, and if it goes wrong, it might backfire. But one undeniable point is that no matter how uncontrollable those Angels are, their power at the time wasn’t fake. Based on the power that the Angels revealed, if they were willing to exert themselves slightly, in future battles against the Beastman Tribe, the Human Race wouldn’t just avoid falling behind; they might even gain considerable advantage.

Thus, given the circumstances at the time, despite having substantial objections, the upper levels of the Human Race faced those Angels, suppressing their opinions, and each tried diligently to pull those Angels closer in relationship, ultimately trying to make the Angels truly become one of them.

The development of events nearly surprised Zhou Tian.

Regardless of whether the upper levels of the Human Race liked those Angels at the time, due to being far less powerful than the Beastman Tribe, if they didn’t want to be annexed by the Beastman Tribe, they could only choose to rely on those Angels. In that circumstance, since the Human Race needed the power of the Angels to fight against the Beastmen, intentionally or not, the Angels’ status would naturally rise within the Human Race’s domain.

When events developed to that stage, Zhou Tian almost made the conditions necessary for his upcoming invasion.

Even if Zhou Tian did nothing at the time, estimating with the development of his Church in that world, continuously inducing more natives to cultivate Abyssal Power will inevitably increase the Abyss’s influence over that world. Once Abyssal Power becomes mainstream in that world, it’s likely that even without further exertion, the Abyss World could annex that world on its own.

Of course, given Zhou Tian’s various arrangements at the time, from various standpoints, even if he needn’t do anything else to annex that world. But since his energy avatar has already descended upon that world, Zhou Tian naturally wouldn’t simply withdraw.

Even though Zhou Tian’s energy avatar seemed to lack a battlefield, he still decided to use his remaining energy to expand his influence in this world.

Directly killing the experts of that world was clearly not an option.

The Human Race needn’t be mentioned, as Zhou Tian had already dealt with most of the Human experts. Given the circumstances at the time, regardless of whether the Human Race internally had such experts, even if they could find a group of non-weak experts, given the Human Race’s current situation, Zhou Tian attacking the Human experts would likely mean he could give up annexing that world. Since the Angels’ strength is undeniable, if the supported Human Race’s strength is too weak, even with their help, extermination would be hard to avoid.

And dealing with the Beastman Tribe wasn’t a good choice for Zhou Tian.

Firstly, if Zhou Tian did nothing at the time, due to having already slaughtered those Human experts before, even if he hadn’t made specific arrangements, the Beastman Tribe had already voluntarily taken the blame for it. Without other actions, the Human Race would likely pass over this matter.

Though unafraid of the Human Race, should Zhou Tian stir up any trouble, it would inevitably raise the Human Race’s suspicions. If suspicion truly fell upon the Angels, it would unfavorably affect the Angels’ actions under Zhou Tian.

There’s no doubt that the circumstances benefited Zhou Tian, who was glad to see the Beastmen taking the blame for him, without needing to attack them to prove the Beastman Tribe’s innocence.

Simultaneously, Zhou Tian’s plan was to keep the Beastman Tribe pressing the Human Race to ensure the Angels’ status. Since the Angels’ strength was already strong, weakening the Beastman Tribe further could strip them of providing enough pressure on the Human Race. This wasn’t the outcome Zhou Tian wanted.

Thus, with neither the Human Race nor the Beastman Tribe suitable targets, Zhou Tian ultimately decided to abandon the idea of attacking the strong members of either race.

Seeing this, Zhou Tian couldn’t touch the strong figures of either race. Thus, his energy avatar, regardless of remaining energy, lacked a real battlefield.

Yet realistically, if Zhou Tian sincerely wanted, his energy avatar would still have considerable effect.

Firstly, if Zhou Tian wished, he could expand his reputation before his energy dissipates. For instance, helping his believers, Zhou Tian could achieve quite a bit if he wanted. Although this doesn’t have a huge effect, it could contribute positively to his preaching.

Of course, Zhou Tian doing so involves significant disadvantages, fearing the upper levels of the Human Race might develop negative thoughts, Zhou Tian was cautious in proceeding. Thus, he decided, before his avatar’s energy ran out, to use that time to cultivate a thug within his Church.

Regardless, a strong person is immensely effective at any time.

If it weren’t for the Angels under Zhou Tian having such formidable power, causing the upper levels of the Human Race to lack the courage to turn against them, Zhou Tian was sure that under the circumstances, even if the Angels saved the Human Race, they wouldn’t receive such a significant reward.
