Mighty Lord
Chapter 2847 - 905: Fallen Elves
Just when almost all other elves wanted to eliminate them, the Fallen Elves continued to live well. Although some worlds do not have this Elf branch, in many more worlds, this Elf branch indeed exists. Furthermore, in worlds where Fallen Elves exist, it is often not easy for other elves to eliminate them. Even in the current world, where almost all other elves are wiped out, besides humans, only they have survived.
The reason Fallen Elves exhibited such behavior and possessed such strong survival abilities mainly boils down to one fact: compared to traditional elves, Fallen Elves are remarkably fertile!
Traditional elves generally have only one partner in their lifetime. If the partner dies, even if they don’t follow in death, it’s quite rare for them to remarry. In addition, elves’ reproductive abilities are several times weaker than those of the Human Race. All these factors combined mean that even though elves have lifespans tens of times longer than humans, in reality, their racial scale is not as large as that of humans.
But unlike traditional elves, Fallen Elves do not have such customs.
Generally speaking, Fallen Elves can be called the epitome of promiscuity. They love passion, spending ninety percent of their day in bed. And regardless of what race they mate with, the offspring are usually Fallen Elves. Interestingly, almost all members of the Fallen Elf tribe are female. If a male is ever born, it would nearly cause a sensation among the entire Fallen Elf clan.
One can imagine, given the nature of Fallen Elves and their typically alluring appearance akin to other elves, such a race’s existence would naturally attract many living beings to approach them. Given this, combined with their reproductive speed that is no less, if not greater than that of humans, it is not surprising that they have survived until now.
Honestly, it was the first time Zhou Tian encountered the Fallen Elves.
If not for learning about their existence from the mind of the Burrow Spiders, Zhou Tian would likely still be unaware that the current world harbors such creatures as Fallen Elves.
And after knowing of the Fallen Elves’ existence, Zhou Tian was certainly intrigued by them. On one hand, the innate qualities of those Fallen Elves were worth Zhou Tian’s attention; on the other hand, as a man, discovering such a creature naturally stirs curiosity.
Therefore, upon learning of the Fallen Elves’ existence, his mind immediately grew interested in them. Given the situation at the time, barring any accidents, Zhou Tian would likely choose to support those Fallen Elves in exchange for their help.
It’s not surprising; even if Zhou Tian didn’t intend to develop anything with the Fallen Elves, given their attributes, if he could provide them with a suitable environment, it’s not impossible for the Fallen Elves to become residents of the Abyss World.
Upon finding the Fallen Elves after knowing them to be quite interesting creatures, Zhou Tian became intrigued and naturally wanted to contact them.
As for the Human Race, if the Fallen Elves did not exist, knowing there were humans in this world, Zhou Tian would certainly want to connect with them. After all, while the Human Race isn’t exceptionally outstanding, their survival capabilities are indeed impressive. Coupled with the fact that Zhou Tian had the most dealings with humans, choosing to cooperate with the Human Race in such a situation was unsurprising.
However, perhaps because of prolonged cooperation with the Human Race, frequent contact with them inevitably gave Zhou Tian a very common perception. Having seen many humans, he no longer held any expectations for them.
Lacking a sense of anticipation, even under the same conditions, Zhou Tian would not choose the Human Race. Moreover, from some perspectives, the Fallen Elves held value beyond merely corrupting the current world’s value for Zhou Tian.
Zhou Tian believed that even with the knowledge of the Fallen Elves’ situation, most living beings wouldn’t refuse such creatures. Elves couldn’t tolerate them only because these Fallen Elves were aberrations in the Elf Tribe. Were that not the case, elves probably wouldn’t be so hostile towards them.
As for females, it’s fine, but for most male creatures, even knowing the situation of the Fallen Elves, given a chance to contact them, they would likely share Zhou Tian’s interest. Not that they necessarily wish to be involved with those Fallen Elves, but mere curiosity is enough to draw many creatures close to them.
It is imaginable that those aware of the Fallen Elves’ situation couldn’t really be hostile towards them. If completely unaware, the allure of Fallen Elves would be hundredfold more potent to most living beings. And under such circumstances, what if the Fallen Elves became Abyssal Creatures?
