Marcus followed Liam into the chamber without hesitation.

Only after stepping fully inside did he notice something strange. The Twin energy drifting through the sanctuary did not simply pass through this space. The moment it entered, the energy became trapped, gathering into a dense black-and-white mist that lingered in the air like suspended breath. It swirled slowly around the chamber, soft and dreamlike, turning the entire room hazy and unreal.

The mist flowed inward constantly, yet none of it escaped. The chamber itself functioned like a sealed vessel, capturing and refining the Twin energy until the atmosphere felt heavy enough to touch.

"Stonehaven, you ready?" Liam asked.

Marcus sat down cross-legged at the center of the chamber, steadying his breathing as the mist curled around him.

"Ready."

Liam nodded once. He retrieved the Bodhi Stone Marcus had entrusted to him earlier, the faint green crystal glowing quietly in his palm. Turning toward Elder Wind, he said, "Elder Wind, let’s begin."

"Right."

The old man stepped forward and pressed his palms together. His expression grew solemn as his hands moved through a complex series of gestures, fingers tracing invisible patterns through the air. At the same time, he began chanting under his breath, his voice low but resonant.

"Primordial energy of heaven and earth... Twin Realms Sanctuary... Yin gives birth to Yang, Yang returns to Yin... harmony and balance..."

As the incantation echoed through the chamber, the black-and-white mist reacted immediately. The calm haze began spinning faster and faster, forming a rotating vortex around Elder Wind.

Black mist separated from white.

Yin and Yang divided cleanly into two distinct clouds that circled him without mixing, each carrying an opposite yet perfectly balanced force. Then, as if summoned by an unseen command, both streams surged toward Elder Wind’s hands.

When the energies gathered fully in his palms, the old man abruptly pressed his hands together.

"Twin energies ascend!"

Standing several feet away, Elder Wind shouted sharply and thrust a finger toward Marcus’s forehead.

The fused black-and-white energy shot forward in a brilliant beam of light.

"Bodhi Stone!"

Liam reacted instantly. The crystal in his hand erupted with dazzling green radiance.

"Go!"

He released it.

The Bodhi Stone spun through the air and stopped precisely before Marcus’s forehead, meeting the incoming beam of Twin energy at the exact center point.

Fwoosh!

The moment the two forces collided, the stone ignited like a star. Brilliant green light flared outward, merging seamlessly with the black-and-white beam until all three energies fused into a single flowing stream.

"Here we go," Marcus thought.

His vision vanished beneath blinding light.

Green, black, and white intertwined into a three-colored torrent that poured directly into his forehead before spreading through every part of his body. The energy did not simply surround him. It invaded him completely, rushing through his veins, bones, and nerves with unstoppable force.

The impact nearly shattered his concentration. His thoughts blurred, consciousness wavering at the edge of blackout.

"So strong..."

Gritting his teeth, Marcus remembered Liam’s instructions. Do not resist and do not move.

He relaxed his body and allowed the energy to flow freely.

From the outside, he looked almost unreal. His entire figure glowed with shifting black, white, and green light, colors cycling across his skin like living flames. The chamber itself was illuminated by the radiance pouring from him.

Thankfully, he had already activated recording.

Two peak experts personally performing a ritual to awaken his second class? There was no way he was missing that moment. He could already imagine rewatching it later with his girls, replaying the scene frame by frame.

The process continued for nearly two minutes.

Gradually, the Twin energy began extracting the Divine-grade essence contained within the Bodhi Stone. The stone’s green power separated, guided by Yin and Yang, before flooding directly into Marcus’s body.

With a sharp sound, the Bodhi Stone lost its glow. Its surface fractured instantly, then shattered into fine dust that scattered through the air, completely drained of power.

Elder Wind lowered his hands, ending the channeling process. He glanced around the chamber and frowned slightly. The once-dense black-and-white mist had almost completely vanished.

"That was close," he murmured.

He had not expected the Bodhi Stone to contain such overwhelming energy. Fortunately, the sanctuary’s Twin energy had been sufficient to stabilize the transfer. Now everything depended on whether Marcus himself could endure the absorption.

Both Elder Wind and Liam fixed their eyes on him.

Although no more energy was being injected, Marcus’s body suddenly erupted with even brighter light. Black, white, and green radiance burst outward, filling the chamber as if a miniature sun had ignited at its center.

The Bodhi Stone’s energy, carried and refined by the Twin forces, circulated through Marcus’s body once... twice... three times. With each cycle, the power settled deeper into his being until its properties awakened fully and began operating on their own.

"Such immense power..." Elder Wind whispered.

Liam’s gaze sharpened. This might not be a simple class awakening anymore. The amount of energy involved suggested something far greater.

Neither of them, however, understood what Marcus was experiencing.

"This hurts."

Inside the light, Marcus felt as though his entire body was being torn apart. The combined energy ripped through his meridians like a raging flood smashing through fragile channels. Even Liam and Elder Wind had underestimated the Bodhi Stone’s strength, and the added Twin energy only amplified the strain.

Marcus himself barely understood what was happening. Pain swallowed everything else.

Anyone else would have exploded under this pressure.

One minute passed.

Then another.

Then a third.

Half-conscious and drifting at the edge of awareness, Marcus somehow endured. His meridians held together against all odds as the three-colored energy completed its final circulation. Slowly, the chaotic forces harmonized, merging perfectly before sinking fully into his body.

"It worked!"

Elder Wind and Liam watched as the radiant light surrounding Marcus collapsed inward, converging until every trace vanished beneath his skin.

The chamber fell quiet.

Marcus sat there, breathing steadily, looking completely normal again.

The Bodhi Stone had fulfilled its purpose.

A familiar system notification sounded in his mind.
