Chapter 723: Chapter 722: June Kane Must Regret

"If you don’t help her, she’ll take those things out."

"Oh!"

Mrs. Kane’s expression didn’t stay tense for long. She managed her emotions well, quickly calming down and looking at Felicity Sterling, responding lightly with one word, "Oh."

"Felicity, go upstairs and rest for now."

"Aunt."

Felicity Sterling couldn’t quite grasp what Mrs. Kane meant.

Her mother’s things, how come Mrs. Kane didn’t seem to care that much?

"You will help my mother, won’t you?"

Felicity Sterling pressed on.

"Of course."

Mrs. Kane replied with a smile. She raised her hand to tidy Felicity Sterling’s hair, "Look at you, your hair’s all messy just after going out."

"Quick, go to your room to tidy up."

"I’ve never said I wouldn’t help with your mother’s affairs."

"Don’t worry too much. Even if your grandmother doesn’t take care of it, your mother and I have known each other for so many years, and considering we’re college classmates, I’ll definitely see it through."

After receiving Mrs. Kane’s assurance, Felicity Sterling’s worries of the past few days slowly dissipated. She smiled and replied happily, "Thank you, Aunt."

She passed by Mrs. Kane, going through the main hall to the building at the back.

After returning to The Ford Family with June Kane, the mother and daughter had been living in The West Wing.

Once Felicity Sterling left, Mrs. Kane curled her lips into a cold smile.

She heard commotion from upstairs, looked up, and saw a girl hurriedly running down the stairs.

The girl clutched her disheveled clothes, crying very sadly. She didn’t escape through the main hall door before being grabbed by the servants again.

The servant was about to take her upstairs when Wayne Jennings stepped out, expressing disdain.

"Don’t bring her up."

"Always the same type to play around with, it’s boring."

He was almost bored stiff staying at home, and the girls sent over were all less interesting than those he found outside.

Mrs. Kane, not finding her son’s behavior too absurd, instead smiled and said, "Wayne, your grandmother won’t let you go out recently."

"Just bear with it for a while."

"How about this, if anyone catches your eye in the house, just let Mom know."

Mrs. Kane reminded with a smile.

The way Mrs. Kane said it was quite ambiguous, but the lustful Wayne Jennings immediately thought of Felicity Sterling living in The West Wing.
