Being mocked by Julian Ford, Finn Chandler wasn’t pleased. She playfully pretended to be angry and came out of his embrace, only to be pulled back in by him.

Then, Julian Ford gave her a lingering kiss, one that left her breathless, made her heart sweet, and she forgot all her anxiety and fears.

Julian Ford said warmly, touching her forehead, his eyes only for her.

Julian Ford’s first love was ablaze; he spoiled her, wanting to give her all the sweetness.

Finn Chandler blushed from his words, leading him to the dining table to sit down.

At the table, Finn Chandler set the bowls and served him rice. She was like a wife waiting for her husband to return, having dinner ready for him, rewarding him with happiness for the day.

Finn Chandler watched Julian Ford tasting her dinner and asked with full anticipation.

His words made Finn Chandler smile with satisfaction, but thinking about the things to discuss tonight, she grew fearful again.

"What’s the matter?"

Finn Chandler looked up, her hand moving from the table to below, gently placing it on her belly.

"I have two things I want to tell you."

"I have something I want to tell you too." At almost the same time, Julian Ford said this.

Finn Chandler smiled, "Then let me go first."

Unsure what Julian Ford wanted to say to her, while she still had the courage, Finn Chandler felt it would be better to speak first.

"I went to the hospital today."

Once she said it, Julian Ford put down his chopsticks and stood up, moving from across the table to sit beside her.

"What’s wrong?"

"Are you feeling unwell?"

He reached out to touch her forehead, speaking with concern.

Seeing his anxiety, Finn Chandler smiled, raising her hand to take his, moving it to her belly.

"Didn’t you say I’ve gotten chubbier lately?"

"I also felt a bit uncomfortable, so I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor said I’m expecting."

As she reached this part, Finn Chandler’s face was all smiles, and the tenderness in her eyes couldn’t be hidden at all.

She really hadn’t thought she would one day meet the man she loved and have a child with him.
