Mr.Nobody: I am inside a webcomic?!
Chapter 96: Goodbye, Coach
The ruined city slowly dissolved into light. The giant metal prison that held Mr.Somebody faded into particles. The sky itself shattered into glowing pixels.
Nobody felt his body becoming lighter. The familiar sensation returned.
The final stage was over. The tutorial was complete. His body slowly began pixelating. Purple particles floated around him.
Nobody smiled. "Guess this is really the end."
FLASH.
The next moment....
He appeared inside the tutorial chamber. The place looked exactly as it always had.
The glowing blue platforms, the floating screens. The endless digital sky. His home for what felt like an eternity.
And sitting on one of the platforms was Ren. The rabbit coach was casually eating a carrot. Like nothing important had happened.
Nobody laughed. Then raised a hand. "Yo, Coach."
Ren looked toward him. For a brief moment he simply stared. Then a small smile appeared. "Well. You actually did it."
Nobody walked closer. "Yep."
Ren nodded. "You defeated them all." The rabbit took another bite of his carrot.
CRUNCH.
"Good job."
Nobody smiled. The words felt simple. Yet they meant a lot. Especially, coming from Ren.
The coach had trained him through every stage. Had saved his life against Aconite. Had watched him suffer through countless battles. Hearing praise from him felt different.
Nobody scratched the back of his head. "Heh. "Not gonna lie. There were several times I thought I was finished."
Ren laughed. "I know. The brain monster, the demoness, the clone and the kangaroo all came to fight you."
Nobody pointed immediately. "The Brain Eater was the worst one."
Ren almost choked on his carrot. "Huh..were you scared of that giant thing?"
Nobody said,"I am absolutely serious. The demoness tried to kill me. The kangaroo tried to make me a friendly rival. But that Bitc* brain eater gave me illusions of my greatest fears."
Ren nodded thoughtfully. "Fair point."
Blossom immediately agreed. "Atta."
The three of them laughed. Then a calm silence followed.
Not awkward. Not uncomfortable. Just... quiet.
Nobody slowly looked around the chamber. He kind of realized that he wouldnβt see this place again.
No more training stages, no more daily announcements, no more tutorial worlds. No more Ren yelling at him. The realization felt strange.
Nobody finally spoke. "Ren."
The rabbit looked up. "What?"
Nobody hesitated. Then smiled. "...Gonna miss this place."
The chamber became quiet again.
Ren looked away slightly. As if thinking about something. Then he gave a genuine smile. Not his usual teasing one. "Yeah." A brief pause. "...Gonna miss you too, trainee." ππ«ππ²π¨πππππ―ππΉ.ππ¨πΊ
Nobody froze. For a moment, he wasnβt sure what to say. Because Ren almost never spoke seriously. Yet this time, he clearly meant it.
The rabbit stood up. Then walked toward him. Nobody remained still. Ren stopped in front of him. Then reached out and patted his head.
Pat.
Pat.
Pat.
Nobody blinked. "...Why are you patting me? I am not a kiddo"
Ren smirked. "Youβll always be a kiddo trainee to me."
"Huh..youβre talking as if youβre way older than me."
"I am over thousand years old."
Nobody sighed. "Huh...? I am not even surprised anymore."
The rabbitβs smile softened. Then he spoke. "Listen. Donβt lose."
Nobody looked up.
Ren continued. "Not after all this training. Not after everything youβve gone through." His eyes briefly became serious. "Youβre stronger than you think. Remember that."
Nobody nodded slowly. "I will."
Ren looked satisfied. "Good." Then, he ruined the emotional moment. "If you lose after all this training, Iβm personally coming to kick your a*s."
Nobody pointed immediately. "There he is. My coach."
Ren grinned. "Youβre welcome."
Nearby, Blossom had become unusually quiet. The little bunny looked down. Its ears drooped.
Nobody noticed. "So thatβs where my depression went."
Blossom ignored him. Tiny tears had appeared in its eyes. "Atta..."
Renβs expression softened immediately. The rabbit crouched down. Then gently patted Blossomβs head. "Hey."
The bunny looked up. "Atta..."
Ren smiled. "You did good too."
Blossom sniffled.
The rabbit continued. "You protected him. You helped him. You saved him more than once."
Blossomβs eyes widened slightly. "Atta?"
"Yep." Ren pointed toward Nobody. "Keep your dummy companion safe."
Nobody immediately looked offended. "Dummy?"
Ren ignored him.
Blossom straightened up. The bunny wiped away its tears. Then, with complete seriousness gave a salute. "Atta!"
Ren laughed. "Good."
The bunny maintained the salute. Like a soldier accepting an important mission.
Nobody watched the scene. Then smiled. For some reason, seeing those two interact made him unexpectedly emotional. Because Blossom and Ren had become part of his journey.
Part of the tutorial. Part of his growth.
And now all of it was ending.
The system suddenly appeared.
Golden light filled the chamber.

Nobody froze. The moment had arrived. The real end.
Purple particles began gathering around him. His body slowly started pixelating again.
Nobody looked toward Ren. The coach folded his arms. Trying to look casual but failing completely.
Nobody grinned. "Well. I guess this is goodbye."
Ren nodded. "Yeah."
A brief silence.
Then Nobody pointed. "Donβt eat too many carrots."
Ren pointed back. "Donβt do anything stupid."
Nobody laughed. "Ha ha No promises."
"Thatβs exactly what worries me."
Blossom jumped onto Nobodyβs shoulder. The bunny waved toward Ren. "Atta!"
Ren raised one hand. A rare farewell gesture. "Take care."
Nobody nodded.
The purple light intensified. The tutorial chamber slowly began fading.
The last thing he saw was Ren standing there, smiling. Watching his student leave. For the first time not as a coach. But as a friend.
FLASH.
Purple light surrounded Nobody as he traveled through the portal. Countless particles drifted around him like stars.
The tutorial world was gone, Ren was gone. The chamber was gone. Only the endless tunnel of light remained.
Nobody looked ahead. A small smile appeared on his face. "I guess... Iβm going home."
The system immediately responded.

[USER IS CURRENTLY TRAVELING TO HOME]
βββββββββββββββ
"Yeah." For once, Nobody didnβt argue with it. After everything that had happened he was finally going back to his world. Back to where it all started.
Then....
FLASH.
The light vanished. Time itself resumed from the exact moment he had left.
The system appeared once more.

Nobody looked around. The familiar world was finally before him.
Then suddenly....
the system spoke again.

[FINAL REWARD PROCESSING]
FACE GRANTING INITIATED
βββββββββββββββ
"Huh?"
Before he could react a burst of golden light exploded from his body.
FWOOOOOOOSH!
Nobody was lifted into the air. The energy wrapped around his faceless head. His form began changing. Reshaping and completing.
The light slowly faded. Then he landed softly on the ground. The transformation was complete.
For the first time in his existence a face stared back from a nearby reflection.
An innocent yet handsome face. Soft features, clear eyes. A genuine expression. His own expression.
Nobody slowly raised a trembling hand. Then touched his cheek, his forehead, his lips. The face was real. It wasnβt a dream.
His shoulders shook slightly.
Then, lowering his head, almost afraid the moment might disappear, he let out a soft, quiet sound. "...Huh."
A faint smile appeared. "...Finally." He closed his eyes.
"...I have my face."
