Chapter 777: Meeting The Future Brother-in-laws

Listening to Feng Xiyan’s sincere praise, Bai Hanyun checked her reflection in the full-length mirror, then nodded in agreement.

She smiled at him and said, "Xiyan, I never expected you to have this kind of talent for matching outfits."

Feng Xiyan was happy to be praised by her and shyly said, "You would look beautiful even in very simple clothes."

Bai Hanyun chuckled at his clumsy praise. Holding his hand, she said, "Let’s go. We need to leave now. Otherwise, we will be really late for the appointment with my brothers."

Holding her hand, Feng Xiyan nodded, and the two of them went downstairs. Since it would take at least two hours to drive to Fu Rong City, Bai Hanyun decided to take the high-speed train instead.

After making her decision, she called a car using her phone. After waiting for a while, the two of them got into the car and headed to the train station.

While they were on their way to Fu Rong City, Jiang Yinqi, Hu Chaoyang, and Huo Zuquan were also on their way there.

By the time Bai Hanyun arrived at Tian Chuang Hotel, the sun had already disappeared beyond the western horizon.

Stepping past the automatic glass door, Bai Hanyun and Feng Xiyan were greeted by a male staff member waiting near the entrance.

Bowing slightly, the staff member asked with a polite smile, "Good evening, customers. Would you like to dine at our restaurant or book a room?"

"We have a reservation for the restaurant’s private room number 305," Bai Hanyun replied.

Hearing this, the staff member made an inviting gesture and said, "Please come this way, customers."

Following the staff member, Bai Hanyun and Feng Xiyan were led to the restaurant’s private room number 305.

After they took their seats, the staff member said, "Customers, please wait a moment. Our waiters will be here shortly to serve you."

Bai Hanyun nodded and responded, "Thank you."

Not long after the staff member left the private room, someone knocked on the door. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Looking at the door, Bai Hanyun said, "Come in."

When the door opened, a waiter walked in.

Bowing slightly, he smiled and said, "Good evening, Miss and Young Master. I will be your service attendant this evening. Would you like to order now, or are you waiting for someone else?"

"We are still waiting for our friends, but we would like to order some drinks and appetizers first," Bai Hanyun calmly replied.

"Understood."

After saying this, the waiter placed two menu books in front of Bai Hanyun and Feng Xiyan, then opened his tablet and began recommending some popular and seasonal dishes to them.

Five minutes later, Bai Hanyun said, "That’s all for now. We might add a few more dishes later."

The waiter took the menu books, then bowed slightly to her. "Understood. Your dishes will be ready in twenty minutes."

Gesturing toward the bell on the table, he added, "If you need my service, please ring the bell. I will be waiting outside."

"Alright."

With that, the waiter left the private room.

After the door closed behind him, Feng Xiyan said, "Yun’er, your world is really good. Everyone has food, clothes, and a place to stay."

Hearing this, Bai Hanyun shook her head, a hint of sadness appearing in her eyes. "You are wrong, Xiyan. You are only seeing the bright side of this world."

When Feng Xiyan heard this, he noticed the sadness in her eyes. Seeing this, he did not continue the topic. Instead, he talked about what he needed to do later when meeting Jiang Yinqi and the others.

Knowing that he was trying to change the topic, Bai Hanyun smiled and followed his lead.

Fifteen minutes later, the door opened again, and the ones who entered were not the waiter, but Jiang Yinqi, Hu Chaoyang, and Hou Zuquan.

Seeing Bai Hanyun sitting side-by-side with a very handsome man, Jiang Yinqi’s eyes flickered with surprise.

’This guy gives me a strange feeling of oppression,’ he thought as he walked into the private room.

Noticing that the three of them had arrived, Bai Hanyun stood up and greeted them with a bright smile. "Elder Brothers, you guys have finally arrived. Please, have a seat."

Looking at her face brimming with happiness, the sharpness inside Jiang Yinqi’s eyes dissipated in an instant.

Just as everyone took their seats, the door opened again. This time, the waiter led two other waiters pushing a food cart inside.

While the two waiters served Bai Hanyun’s and Feng Xiyan’s drinks and the appetizers, the other waiter placed menu books in front of Jiang Yinqi, Hu Chaoyang, and Hou Zuquan.

Seeing this, Bai Hanyun said, "Brothers, we have already ordered ours. You guys can just order whatever you want. It’s our treat tonight."

When Hou Zuquan heard this, he smiled and said, "Alright. Then you can’t hit me later when you pay the bill."

Bai Hanyun chuckled and responded, "Don’t worry. You can’t eat me into bankruptcy."

With her words, Jiang Yinqi and Hu Chaoyang also ordered their food and drinks. Soon, the waiters left the private room.

Jiang Yinqi smiled slightly at Bai Hanyun and asked, "Hanyun, won’t you introduce this young master to us?"

Bai Hanyun chuckled when she noticed Jiang Yinqi gritting his teeth as he spoke and responded, "Elder Brothers, this is my fiancé, Feng Xiyan. He is the one who gave me those antiques and is also my business partner."

The moment Jiang Yinqi and Hou Zuquan heard the word ’fiancé,’ both of them exclaimed in shock at the same time.

Glancing at the two of them, Hu Chaoyang calmly said, "You two, calm down. Do you want to lose face in front of Hanyun’s fiancé?"

Hearing this, Jiang Yinqi glared at him but still sat down.
