Chapter 133: 133. The Strange Creatures

The ground around them shook and an intense chill spread from the forest. Everyone turned and looked there. Jin also turned and his eyes narrowed. From the forest, a mist is spreading. The mist is the opposite of vitality and it is also devouring everything on its path.

But Jin knew the devouring power too well so he can sense that this is not devouring. It was like a corrosion and conversion of the natural affinity of the surroundings. From the mist, faint steps sounded and then appeared the strange creature that the villagers mentioned.

Jin looked at them and noticed that they are colourless and they excluded the same aura as the mist. What puzzled Jin was the humans and the beasts all together. He turned and looked at Tren and asked for the reason. Tren replied,

"They are the deceased humans from our village and these beasts were the ones who died in the forest."

Jin heard this and his expression changed. He looked at the mist once again. Then he shifted to the strange creatures and their auras. Many of them were at the foundation level. Jin was confused once again because from what he observed, there are many few at the foundation realm in the village. How are they going to fight these strange creatures?

The answer was soon revealed to him. Ten spiritual gathering experts gathered and formed a chain, the aura of all the ten merged into the leader and his aura climbed into the realm of the foundation building. Jin was surprised but then he continued to watch.

The match intensified and then a mid-level foundation establishment realm human strange beast. With that, the one from the village also made his move. Jin looked at this scene and he felt some doubts. He looked at Tren and asked,

"Were these strange creatures smart?"

Tren paused and then he shook his head and spoke,

"From what the ancient tree told us, their intelligence started to develop at the core stage and they are comparable to a child of a seven- to eight-year-old child. It is strange that these strange creatures are attacking in a format."

Hearing this, Jin’s expression changed and he looked at the battle. And what he thought actually came true. After following the mid-level foundation establishment experts, there was an aura that suppressed them.

The battle paused for a movement. Then the villagers turned serious. Jin also looked at the incoming strange creature but he was not worried because he can kill them easily with a wave of his hands even if he is not in his full strength.

But the strangest thing is that they just die and their energy transforms into the nearby strange creature and if a villager got hurt by them then they will slowly transform just like the strange creatures. Even when the strongest appeared, the battle continued but not long after the battle, the ground quacked and an aura even stronger than a foundation realm appeared from the deep of the forest.

Sensing this aura everyone turned pale and looked deeper in the forest. A strange creature appeared in their view. The creature has a body larger than 50 meters and it was dripping some strange black liquid. The moment the liquid touched the ground, everything was absorbed by the drop and then it returned to the beast.

This continued and the surrounding energy and the different things were absorbed by the beast. The beast looked at everyone present and roared. Then it charged in front of everyone. The villagers were terrified when they saw this and someone muttered,

"Ancient Tree, please save us."

But no one answered him. Just as they were looking at the beast appearing in front of them and opened its mouth, someone appeared by the side of the beast and kicked him. The beast flew backwards and then everyone turned and looked at the newcomer.

Elvy and Tren were also stunned because the one who interfered was none other than Jin. They didn’t even know when he disappeared from the place. The villagers also noticed the youth whom they never saw before this. They showed relief but then once again became concerned when a roar sounded not far from them.

"ROAR"

But Jin was unfazed as he looked at the strange creature coming in his direction. He indeed can’t use his spiritual energy but it was just temporary and during this time, he has already restored his thirty percent spiritual energy. The strange creature appeared in his view again and he directly charged at Jin. Jin also took a step forward and he clenched his fists and a pair of hammers appeared in his hands. He spoke,

"Pulse-Beat strike"

It was a simple and brutal method but it worked. The hammers were not made of some original metal. Their origin metal was very mysterious and Jin already had some doubts regarding this but he didn’t push it much.

He struck at the beast and the beast was blasted once again. Jin paused for a moment because he sensed something. He looked at his hammers and then he saw that the black liquid attached to his hammers was absorbed by them. He was surprised.

Tren thought that something happened to his weapon so he is making this surprised expression. He reminded him,

"Don’t let your weapon touch the liquid, it changes the entire weapon properties."

But Jin grinned and spoke,

"Don’t worry, my weapon was a counter for such things." 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

With that he charred once again. Just now he clearly felt the devouring from the hammers. He looked at them and from his understanding, it might be related to the high galaxy laws and the origin metal which crafted the hammers was finally showing its complete value here.

He swung his hammers once again and the strange creature was smashed once again. Some of his energy was absorbed by the beast and Jin continued to do this. The result remained the same.

After all, a core realm is flaunting in front of a soul born. What kind of logic is that? The strange creature was drained completely. And he died in the battle.

Jin looked at the place where the strange creature was and when he sensed that there was no coming back, he smiled slightly and turned to look at the villagers. He was stunned when he saw the view.

The villagers were looking at him with wide eyes. They never thought that someone so young would be stronger than the entire village. But then they all cheered because this bought hope for them.

Jin looked at his hammers and then he looked at all the strange creatures who were in disarray unlike the early times. They all definitely followed command of the strange creature at the core realm.
