Jin looked at beat and Pulse. He can sense the closeness in them despite the fact that they were not forged by him. He smiled and stroked them both. He spoke,

"Now you both are ranked six artifacts. Grandpa told me that your spirits are dormant and it will take some time to awaken them."

With that he turned to Nox and spoke,

"Nox, we have to prepare the heaven and earth treasures for my breakthrough in the lord realm.

I plan to focus on the soul cultivation first and then; I want to immediately focus on the spiritual transformation."

Nox nodded and then he asked,

"But can you comprehend the laws?"

Jin smiled and spoke,

"Indeed, I can but as grandpa said, I can’t control the nodes but I can sense them. This breakthrough will help me with that."

Nox nodded and then they both went to the ancient tree.

The tree already recovered from its injuries just from the waving hands of some senior. He was grateful for Jin and Nox. When they both appeared, the tree spoke,

"Thanks to you little guy, I was able to feel myself again and I can now cultivate. Now I have no fear against those emperor level existences in the deep of the mist.

I will help you in whichever way you want."

Jin looked at the ancient tree and spoke,

"Senior, this junior is already at the peak of soul born. I was waiting for my grandpa to guide me in the next realm. Now that I know what to do, I need rare heaven and earth treasures for that."

The tree fell silent and after a moment, it shone and a spiritual clone appeared in front of Jin and Nox.

The clone has an orangish coloured hue around it and it was an old man with a beard touching the ground.

The clone spoke,

"This is my clone. Before this, I was not able to because of my domain, now I can create a clone of mine. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

The heaven and earth treasures that you asked. There are but I think that your path might not be normal. So, I suggest you take a treasure that is enough for you to push into the lord realm in one go.

This treasure is called Green Life Purple Flower. It is a flower that absorbs the cooling energy of the night and uses the vitality of the plane as a source to cultivate.

Before being injured by that thing, I caught a glimpse of that treasure outside the forest."

Jin was confused and he asked,

"Senior, the trees are also the vitality holders, why did the mist not attack them?"

The clone smiled slightly and spoke,

"Because the trees have the highest adaptability to nature and the environment. The forest of the 13 mystical lands is mutated. In the morning, it emits the largest vitality and the night is the time for it to use the chillness of the night to cover the vitality.

This is a secret that no one knows. Only the plant species knows of this secret."

Jin and Nox were stunned when they heard that. Jin asked the direction from the tree and the appearance of the flower from him and then they thanked and decided to depart for the flower.

Since night is coming, they both looked at the battle that was going on between the villagers and the strange creatures.

As Jin instructed, the strange creatures seem to have the upper hand but the villagers are able to hold them off till the next day.

After that, when the mist receded, the first thing Jin and Nox did was to leave in the direction the ancient tree instructed.

On the way, they didn’t encounter any issues at all. But Jin didn’t move fast to find that flower. He was also sensing the trees and how the vitality is being surrounding them and the aura that they masked is now disappearing.

He carefully sensed them but he couldn’t find the reason so he just let it be.

On the way, Knox suddenly asked him,

"Jin, have you ever thought about the harmony that senior mentioned."

Jin was stunned. He stopped his tracks and looked at Nox. After some time, he spoke,

"I indeed thought about that. And I am not sure what to do. I also asked grandpa about many other things.

Grandpa said that once I step into the lord realm, many doubts will start to clear on their own. So, I am waiting for that moment. According to grandpa, the cultivation techniques did not appear out of thin air, these lower types of arts were created by the lords from the understanding of the universe.

I am waiting for that moment and then I can see if I have any path for me."

Nox remained silent when he heard that. Their remaining journey remained silent. The 13 mystical forests are very large, comparable to any low-level plane in the mid galaxy.

Even the outer perimeter of the thirteen mystical forests is so big.

This mystical forest is even new among all the others before this, so it is still in its growing phase.

As Jin and Nox moved in the forest and almost half a day passed, they still didn’t find the flower but they got other opportunities. Jin also discovered a fountain that was quite a surprise for him. It contains both the vitality and the power from the mist. He wanted to store but Nox did something that surprised Jin.

He stood above the water in the middle of the pond and a diagram appeared below him that covered the entire pond.

One side of the diagram was black while the other is white.

Nox chanted something and a light flashed on the diagram. Then Jin saw the pond disappear and the yin-yang diagram under Nox also disappeared.

Jin was curious and he asked Nox,

"What was that?"

Nox answered,

"I don’t know. I just sensed this and then I did it. I am also going to follow the second path of Self. And this diagram is like a part of me. I can control it, use it and comprehend it. Most of my inspiration is coming from it."

Jin became silent when he heard that. After sometime, he spoke,

"Do you think this is related to the treasure that your parents got from the mysterious ruins?"

Nox became silent when he heard that. After some time, he spoke,

"It may be but I am not sure of it since my mother never mentioned this to me."

Jin nodded and then he looked around the pond and when he saw that the soil around the pond is still useful, he stored it. He has some plans for it.

After doing all that, they both departed in search of the flower.
