My Co-renting Lady Boss
Chapter 1948 - 1944: Who Struck First
"What’s going on here?"
Tang Ming looked at Shen Yan with a bewildered expression.
"I’m not really sure. These people claim to be from the Three-Life Sect, saying they are here to destroy you."
Shen Yan introduced with a strange look on her face: "Then these two seniors made a bet to see who could kill more people. It seems to be evenly matched, and they both attacked that old man simultaneously. Now they’re arguing about who won."
"People from the Three-Life Sect?"
Everyone was astonished and immediately walked toward Tang Cha and the old lunatic.
"Kid, you’re just in time. Come and see whether my sword qi hit this bastard first, or his poison hit this guy first."
Seeing Tang Ming appear, the old lunatic yelled unhappily.
"Yes, let the disciple decide fairly."
Tang Cha nodded repeatedly.
"You guys... okay, I’ll check it out."
Tang Ming looked at the two old men with a helpless face, then walked over to the Great Elder’s corpse, glanced at it, and shivered.
This so-called Great Elder wasn’t dead yet, but his body was severed at the waist, and his skin had turned black, apparently affected by both sword qi and poison.
"Whoa! The Three-Life Sect’s Great Elder Liao Wangsheng."
Upon recognizing the Great Elder, Meng Xianjun couldn’t help but exclaim.
"What Sheng? Is he very powerful?"
Sun Zhuangjia looked at Meng Xianjun blankly.
"Duh! He’s a genuine Three-star Martial General."
Meng Xianjun swallowed nervously, assessing the old lunatic and Tang Cha with apprehension.
The power of a Three-star Martial General was undeniable. Back then, Murong Xue had easily defeated all of them, demonstrating tremendous strength.
Yet this Great Elder was tortured like this. What kind of strength do Tang Ming’s two masters possess?
"Apart from this Three-star Martial General, it seems that among the dead, there are also two Two-star Martial Generals and eight One-star Martial Generals."
Shen Yan added.
"Damn!"
Hearing this, Meng Xianjun nearly stumbled.
The others were also shocked, having rushed down from the mountain without sensing any intense energy fluctuations, yet those numerous generals were simply taken down. It’s too unbelievable!
As someone involved, Lv Dai was frightened by Tang Cha and the old lunatic’s combat capabilities.
So many Martial Generals from the Three-Life Sect attacked at once, but they were cut down like cabbages by those two old men with no chance to fight back. Even the Great Elder, a Three-star Martial General, couldn’t hold out for more than a few moves. Terrifying.
"I must be dreaming. This has to be a dream."
Lv Dai shivered as he sat on the ground, shaking his head continuously.
"Who... who are you exactly?"
Like Lv Dai, the Great Elder, who hadn’t yet expired, was filled with despair and disbelief, completely unable to comprehend why those two old fellows could be so strong.
He was a Three-star Martial General with numerous martial generals attacking together, but they were annihilated in the blink of an eye.
"You dying guy, just hurry up and die already. Stop babbling so much."
The old lunatic looked at the Great Elder unhappily: "You claim to be a Three-star Martial General, yet you don’t even know who hit you first. Useless."
"Absolutely, you’re definitely the one I knocked down first."
Tang Cha nodded repeatedly.
"I... Ugh!" 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Upon hearing this, the Great Elder couldn’t help vomiting blood. The two opponents attacked him nearly simultaneously; he truly didn’t see clearly.
"Two masters, after my inspection, I can confirm that your attacks hit this guy simultaneously."
Tang Ming concluded confidently: "You two ended in a tie, neither side winning."
"Nonsense! It must have been me who hit first. You, kid, take a closer look, I’m your master."
Tang Cha glared fiercely at Tang Ming.
"As if you think you’re not his master. I’m not happy with a tie either; I’ve never had a draw with anyone before."
The old lunatic was similarly displeased.
"The fact is, it was a tie."
Tang Ming sighed helplessly, knowing both old men weren’t people he could afford to offend.
"Hmph!"
Tang Cha and the old lunatic snorted simultaneously, then looked at Tang Ming with hostility.
"What are you guys doing?"
Tang Ming’s heart fluttered with fear as the two elders stared at him, and he instinctively retreated.
"I heard you previously killed two Martial Generals from the Three-Life Sect. Did you use the martial arts I taught you?"
Tang Cha coldly stared at Tang Ming questioning.
"Ah! I did, but I didn’t unleash it..."
"Hahaha, you did use my martial arts after all. Old rogue, I win."
Tang Cha immediately laughed, interrupting Tang Ming: "Call me big brother."
The old lunatic looked displeased, staring fixedly at Tang Ming: "Did you not use the martial arts I taught you?"
"I used it too! What’s going on?"
Tang Ming looked bewildered at the two old men.
"Old rascal, seems you didn’t win."
The old lunatic smugly glanced at Tang Cha.
"So who did you use martial arts from first?"
Tang Cha unhappily stared at Tang Ming.
"Yeah, whose martial arts did you use first?"
The old lunatic also pressed.
"I used them simultaneously, no preference."
Tang Ming replied weakly, not aware the two old men were betting on this matter.
"Darn it, another tie."
Tang Cha and the old lunatic complained in unison, heading toward the mountain.
"What on earth happened?"
Tang Ming remained utterly confused.
"It’s nothing! Since you’re here, we’ll head up the mountain. Handle the Three-Life Sect folks first."
Tang Cha waved without looking back.
"Senior Brother, you take care of my two masters first, I’ll be right behind, and look after my wife."
Tang Ming quickly instructed Sun Zhuangjia, watching the group march up the mountain: "Chen Cang, capture Lv Dai and wait for Hua Yingjie to deal with him."
"Third Brother, now I finally understand why you’re so extraordinary."
After the group departed, Meng Xianjun nervously swallowed, eyeing Tang Ming: "Who exactly are your two masters? What’s their cultivation level?"
"I want to know too."
Tang Ming rolled his eyes and sighed: "These two ancestors, sigh..."
"You don’t know? Are you serious?"
Meng Xianjun looked doubtful.
"Believe it or not, I genuinely don’t know what level they are."
Tang Ming shrugged, lowering his gaze to the barely breathing Great Elder: "You guys are really unlucky, come for revenge and end up meeting my masters, and to top it off, both of them at the same time. Tragic!"
"You... you won’t meet a good end. The Three-Life Sect definitely won’t let you go."
The Great Elder gritted his teeth, his heart filled with frustration, unable to fathom Tang Ming having such formidable support behind him.
If he had known those two old guys were such freaks, he wouldn’t have come here to die, and besides, he lost so many martial generals in the process. This battle has depleted the Primordial Energy of the Three-Life Sect tremendously.
