"Take good care of yourself while I’m gone. Don’t get ambushed like last time. You have plenty of Magic Items, so learn how to protect yourself. I’ve also arranged for two female Mages to serve as your guards and ensure your safety."

Fang Zhen told Dalia as he said his goodbyes.

There were women among the ranks of Mages, but they were relatively rare. This was because Mages were often the younger sons of noble families; daughters of noble houses were far less common.

After all, women still had the path of marriage available to them. Noblewomen who were determined to become Mages were a small minority.

Dalia nodded, pulling Fang Zhen’s hand to her chest just before he left.

"How soon will you be back?" Dalia asked.

For this very reason, Dalia felt she couldn’t be without him.

Fang Zhen rode at a full gallop and soon arrived at the Light Gate’s location.

He dismounted, turned the Red Hare Warhorse into crystal bone, and then stepped through the Light Gate.

After a brief moment of disorientation, he was back in his own living room.

Fang Zhen was already adept at removing his armor. Before long, he had taken off all his battle plate, changed into a looser set of casual clothes, and entered the computer room to operate the PC that ran the game.

He had actually completed the dungeon several days ago; he was just here to finish the follow-up tasks. After all, this dungeon concerned not only personal martial prowess but also the establishment of a faction, something that had been hinted at before he first entered the "Demon Duke" dungeon.

He first shut down the Light Gate peripheral, then checked his dungeon completion status. As expected, the dungeon was cleared.

Fireworks and golden light flashed across the screen.

"Congratulations, you have cleared the Nightmare-difficulty dungeon ’Demon Duke’ in the Nameless World."

This was the message displayed on the computer.

Fang Zhen smiled and, with his right hand on the mouse, clicked through to the results screen.
