The grand dinner had finally come to an end. The exquisite dishes, the expensive ingredients, and the culinary masterpieces that cost more than an average person’s monthly salary were quietly cleared away by the well-trained staff. They moved in perfect, silent synchronization, their footsteps making no sound against the thick carpet, their faces remaining impassive and respectful. To them, the presence of Jun Hao, the man who had transformed from a mere therapist to the most honored person in the household, was something they had long accepted as a fact, regardless of how bewildering it seemed.

Jun Hao leaned back comfortably in the high-backed chair, his hand gently patting his stomach in a relaxed, satisfied manner. A look of pure contentment rested on his face; he had eaten well, enjoyed every flavor, and felt completely at ease.

Yan Jingshu sat across from him, watching him quietly. She hadn’t said much throughout the meal, nor had she fussed over him excessively or tried to serve him every single bite like a servant. That wasn’t how she loved him. Instead, her eyes never strayed far from his face, silently mirroring every emotion that crossed his features.

When he looked pleased, her expression softened and brightened. When he smiled or chuckled at something, a genuine, tender smile naturally appeared on her lips, far more radiant than any she had ever shown to the rest of the world. If he had looked even slightly unhappy or uncomfortable, her heart would have instantly sunk, and she would have felt that discomfort as if it were her own. She didn’t need to speak words like "I am happy because you are happy" or "I feel what you feel." Her eyes, her expressions, and the quiet warmth radiating from her were enough to tell him everything.

Jun Hao caught her gaze and grinned, looking around the vast, magnificent dining hall that could easily host dozens of guests but had been reserved just for the two of them.

"Are you still planning to look around some more?" Yan Jingshu asked softly, her voice gentle, breaking the comfortable silence.

Jun Hao chuckled, shaking his head as he looked at her with that familiar, playful glint in his eyes. He spoke casually, teasing her lightly.

"Oh? So... you want to show off your big house to me, is that it?"

Yan Jingshu immediately froze, her eyes widening slightly, and she began to wave her hands in a slight panic, stammering a little in her haste to deny it—a rare sight for a powerful billionaire like her.

"N-no! That’s not... I didn’t mean it like that! I just—"

Seeing her flustered reaction, Jun Hao couldn’t hold it back anymore. He threw his head back and burst into loud, hearty laughter, genuinely amused.

"You?" he managed to say between laughs, pointing at her playfully. "A billionaire, stammering and explaining herself to an ordinary guy like me? Oh, this is the best sight I’ve seen all day!"

Yan Jingshu stared at him, her face turning slightly pink from embarrassment, before she realized she had been tricked. She let out a small huff, stood up, walked around the table, and reached out to pinch his waist lightly—playful, yet firm enough to show her mock annoyance.

"Ouch! Hey, hey, hey! Easy, easy!" Jun Hao yelped, laughing even harder as he raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, I was just joking! Just kidding, okay? You really can’t take a joke, can you?"

He rubbed the spot where she had pinched him, still grinning from ear to ear. He loved seeing her like this—relaxed, expressive, and completely different from the cold, untouchable Young Mistress everyone else knew.

"Fine, fine," Jun Hao said, leaning his arms on the table and looking up at her with a bright, curious expression. "Since we’re walking around anyway... does this huge mansion of yours have a swimming pool?"

Yan Jingshu looked down at him, her expression softening instantly as her earlier fluster faded away, replaced by that familiar gentle affection. She nodded calmly.

"Yes, I do. I have one just a short walk from here. Why? Do you want to see it?"

Jun Hao shook his head quickly, his grin turning mischievous.

"See it? No way. I don’t just want to look at it... I want to use it. I might as well get some exercise after eating so much, right? Burn off a few calories so I don’t end up gaining weight from all this luxury food!"

He laughed loudly at his own joke, his whole face lighting up with joy.

Yan Jingshu watched him, her heart swelling with happiness just seeing him so carefree and cheerful. His laughter was contagious, and before she knew it, she found herself smiling broadly too, her eyes curving into happy crescents. She didn’t need grand reasons; as long as he was having fun, she was happy.

"You want to swim?" she asked, her tone warm and indulgent.

"Yeah, why not?" Jun Hao replied casually. "Is there a problem?"

Yan Jingshu raised an eyebrow, looking him up and down with a faint, amused smirk.

"There’s just one small problem... you didn’t bring any swimwear, did you?"

Jun Hao paused, blinking blankly as the realization hit him. He slapped his forehead dramatically.

"Ah! Right! I completely forgot about that detail."

He looked at her helplessly, expecting the plan to be cancelled. But Yan Jingshu just shook her head slightly, her expression calm and confident as always. She reached out and patted the back of his hand reassuringly.

"It’s fine. Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it."

She turned around and gestured gracefully to the head butler who was standing respectfully near the entrance, waiting for any instruction. The butler stepped forward immediately, head bowed low.

"Miss Yan?"

"Inform my personal secretary," Yan Jingshu commanded, her voice clear and authoritative, the tone of a woman used to giving orders that were followed instantly. "Purchase a set of men’s swimwear and a set of women’s swimwear. Make sure they are matching—a couple’s set, same brand, same color scheme."

"Yes, Miss Yan. Immediately."

Without asking a single question, without hesitation, and without showing the slightest bit of surprise, the butler bowed deeply again and swiftly retreated to carry out the order. To him, buying matching swimwear for the Young Mistress and her companion was just as ordinary as serving tea; it was his job to execute her wishes perfectly.

Jun Hao watched the exchange, still sitting there with a grin on his face, shaking his head in amusement. They didn’t even have to pick up a phone or discuss sizes. It was just done.

About thirty minutes passed—time spent chatting casually and walking slowly through the beautifully decorated corridors—before the same butler returned, walking with steady, quick steps. In his hands were two neatly packaged bags, elegant and high-end, clearly containing the requested items.

He presented them respectfully to Yan Jingshu, who accepted them and turned to Jun Hao.

Jun Hao took one of the bags, opening it slightly to peek inside at the high-quality fabric and stylish design. He looked up at her with a curious, slightly confused expression.

"Wait a second... do you usually keep a stock of swimwear just lying around the house or something?" he asked jokingly.

Yan Jingshu shook her head, her expression calm as she began walking toward the wing where the pool was located, gesturing for him to follow.

"No. My secretary bought these just now."

Jun Hao stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening in genuine surprise this time.

"Bought? Just now?" He quickly caught up to her, walking beside her with an incredulous look on his face. "But... your estate is practically in the middle of a huge private district, miles away from any shopping center or city mall! How on earth did they get here so fast? Did they fly there and back by helicopter or something?"

Yan Jingshu didn’t answer directly, but the small, proud smile playing on her lips spoke volumes. She glanced sideways at him, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"You see," Jun Hao said, waving the bag in his hand as he laughed, "This is exactly why they say us ordinary people can’t even begin to imagine how the rich live. My imagination clearly has limits... while yours doesn’t seem to have any at all!"

He gave a dramatic bow, still grinning from ear to ear.

"Apologies, Miss Yan. My bad for having such a limited imagination. Please, lead the way then! I’m ready to see just how far beyond my imagination this swimming pool of yours is."

Yan Jingshu laughed softly, a sound that echoed pleasantly in the corridor. She looped her arm naturally through his again, leaning slightly against him as they walked, her expression filled with pure, unadulterated joy.

Whatever he wanted, whatever made him smile, she would provide it. Whether it was a grand dinner, a walk, or a sudden swim... she would move mountains or fly by helicopter just to make it happen. Not because she was rich, but simply because seeing him happy was the only thing that truly mattered to her.
