Chapter 801

Anton was supposed to wait for someone to deliver the crafting materials to him. He did not know how long he should wait. Since they were free for the next two days, Anton decided to do his enchanting experiments back at Ormunda.

He would inform his teammates that he had a portal to his family’s manor back in Ormunda and would start crafting a magic item back home. He would leave the enchanted pair of earrings that changed color when used so that they could summon him back to Nermador if they needed him for something. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Since he was getting antsy waiting, he decided to take a hot bath to relax his body. Once he was done bathing, Anton heard knocking on his door. It was Sudarta, delivering the promised crafting materials.

Anton was extremely surprised at the variety of magical materials that Sudarta gave him. They were inside a spatial ring. According to the lady wizard, there were a bunch of Mithril, Adamantine, Orichalcum, Cold Iron, Star Metal, and different magical metals. There were also a bunch of other magical items, like Ironwood, and several gemstones that were supposed to be magical.

When Sudarta was about to leave, Anton stopped her.

“I will work on making the enchanted items, but I wanted to stay at my family’s manor back in Ormunda. You can see the portal just beside the wardrobe. I will be using that portal to go home and will return after the two days. If you need to summon me before that, just activate the magic earring beside the portal, and that would inform me that you’re summoning me.”

Sudarta simply nodded and left. Anton didn’t fault her coldness and abruptness. He knew that his teammates were still grieving over losing Tamor.

Anton summoned Raymond using the earring, and after a couple of minutes, the family butler arrived using the portal. He told Raymond that he would return to the manor and would stay there for the next two days. The butler invited Anton to his party system. Before they entered the portal, Anton left the earring on top of the table beside the portal.

Once they were back at the manor, Raymond asked if he would like to eat. Since Anton was feeling famished, he said that he would like something to eat in his room. Once Raymond left to retrieve food for him, Anton cast the Blizzard spell that he converted into Mana Rain all over the manor grounds.

While waiting for Raymond, Anton reviewed the materials that Sudarta gave him. If he was being honest, he didn’t know how to work the magic items. The only thing he could think of was to inscribe the mana structure on the magical metals. The main issue that he had was that the majority of the materials were in raw form, meaning they were in block or ore form. Thankfully, there were still a few that were already in a structured form, like pieces of jewelry, daggers, swords, and even shields.

He could only work on those. If he were successful in inscribing the mana structure of his spells on the items, he would find someone who could create things using the magical materials.

When Raymond returned with food, while Anton was eating, the butler reported that things that happened in the manor. The butler told him about Anna delving into one of the beginner dungeons together with her classmates, accompanied by Anders’s vice-captains. Raymond then gave the letters that Anna wanted him to have and the letter that came from Anders, who was now stationed in New Drennor.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Raymond also informed him of the status of the family businesses, in which everything was stable. After the butler had made his report, Raymond left Anton to his devices and left the room. After he was done eating. Anton went to his office to start working on creating enchanted items.

The first thing he needed to do was to familiarize himself with the mana structure of the spells he was planning to inscribe, but first, he needed items where he could practice his inscriptions. He summoned Raymond, and when the butler arrived, he requested a bunch of tablets made from the strongest wood available to be purchased immediately. He told Raymond that haste was extremely important because the items that he would be crafting were to be used by the wizards in Nermador, battling the Undead Coalition.

The butler told him that he would scour Ormunda for the items that he required. Regarding the cost, Raymond told him that the family would handle it. After Raymond left, Anton retrieved the items that Sudarta had given him, but only those that were already in complete forms, like the pieces of jewelry, weapons, and shield.

After he arranged it in one of the tables, Anton started reading the letters from his sister and his father. Anna basically just informed him that she wanted to continue delving into the dungeon to level up her Sorceress class, but she hoped that he could craft her an item that would have the Meditation Aura in a much smaller form, like a wand or an accessory, since the Insight Spear was really awkward for her to use. She also wanted to have an item that had a powerful healing effect, so she didn’t have to worry about the adventurer that were wounded defending her against the dungeon monsters.

Based on Anna’s request, Anton would need to prioritize creating items that had the Cloak of Shadow skill, the Prayer Aura, the Cleansing Aura, the Defiance Aura, the Vigor Aura, and the Meditation Aura.

Since Captain Joraniha requested an item that had the Cloak of Shadow, he would need to prioritize making it. Then he would start working on the items that Anna had requested.

Anton then read Anders’s letter. It stated that his father was doing fine and that Anders’s reputation was growing simply because of his Paladin Abilities, which basically had the most powerful support skills anyone could have. The fact that the Paladin’s Combat abilities were also top-notch meant that Anders was being treated as an equal to an Archmage Wizard. Anton just wished that his father would remain safe. According to the last information about his father’s Paladin level that he had, Anders’s Paladin Level was around sixty plus. The main issue that Anders was complaining about was the fact that his Paladin was not leveling up outside the dungeon. Anton wondered about that. He wondered why only the dungeon monsters could level up his Diablo System characters.

He theorized that it was because the dungeon monsters weren’t really living monsters, but some sort of mana construct that the dungeon had created, and once they were killed, the mana construct's energy was being converted into experience points by his Diablo System.

After he was done reading his father’s letter, Raymond was still not back, so he started reviewing the mana structure of the Cloak of Shadow Spell.

After a couple of hours, Raymond came back, and a few people were following behind him carrying a large number of wooden tablets. Raymond told him that the wooden tablet was made out of Buloki wood, which was one of the hardest woods in Ormunda. After all the wooden tablets were placed near the work table, Raymond left with his men.

Anton spent the rest of the day creating tablets enchanted with the level one Cloak of Shadow. After several hours and destroying several tablets, he successfully inscribed a level Cloak of Shadow onto one of the wooden tablets. The durability of the magic tablet was extremely low and would be destroyed after several uses, which was normal.
