「In a residential house in the suburbs of Thunder City.」

The bald man’s car stopped, and he staggered into the yard where Jin Xing was on the phone with Chen Guoyuan. "They’ve been gone for so long! Why haven’t they come back yet? Hurry and check on them!"

"Could something have happened?" Chen Guoyuan asked worriedly over the phone.

"Bullshit! Do you have any idea who those three are? They are three of the eight Great Elders of the Tianhai Association! How could anything happen to them? In Sea City, almost no one can hurt them. What is there to fear in this insignificant Thunder City?"

"Dead! They’re dead!" the bald man cried urgently. "Young Master Jin, we need to leave now, or it’ll be too late! There’s a devil in Thunder City! That devil somehow made Elder Gu’s Gu Insect turn on him! I didn’t even see how he moved, and my arm was gone! Elder Jian also died a terrible death. There was just a flash of golden light, and he was gone!"

"Impossible!" Jin Xing shot to his feet, bellowing. "I refuse to believe it!"

He could almost understand Yang Taining and the others being killed. After all, powerful as they were, they still had rivals. But these three Great Elders were supposed to be invincible in Thunder City! How could all three be defeated at once? Two dead and one with a severed arm?

"Young Master Jin, what’s happening?" Chen Guoyuan was still yelling over the phone.

Unfortunately, no one could answer him. Jin Xing was no longer paying attention to his phone. He looked toward the doorway, where a figure was slowly walking in.

"You! Who are you!?" Jin Xing stared at the newcomer in terror, trembling all over.

Although he wasn’t weak, he was no match for the three Elders. Now that even they had been taken out, he stood no chance at all. That was why he was so terrified.

"Young Master Jin, it’s him! He’s the one who killed Old Gu and Old Jian!" the bald man roared, stepping in front of Jin Xing. "Young Master Jin, I’ll hold him off! You must escape and let the president know who killed us!"

"You talk too much." Yang Qi suddenly appeared beside the bald man, grabbed his neck, and threw him aside.

The bald man smashed heavily onto the ground, rendered immobile. He could only watch helplessly as Yang Qi walked toward Jin Xing.

"You! Who exactly are you? At least let me die knowing," Jin Xing said, his teeth chattering, but he managed to force the words out.

"Fine," Yang Qi said indifferently. "The boss of the Star Shining Society and the Qifei Group—they’re one and the same. Me. You kidnapped my people and tried to harm my employees. Do you think I shouldn’t kill you?"

BOOM!

Jin Xing was stupefied. He had considered many possibilities for his identity, but he never imagined that the boss of the Star Shining Society and the Qifei Group were the same person—and so young.

He took a deep breath and said, "Boss, technically, I haven’t caused any substantial harm. In fact, aside from being frightened, only a few ordinary martial artists died. They’re not worth mentioning. Can’t we sit down and discuss this?"

An ordinary person might have been fooled, but anyone with a brain wouldn’t fall for such a transparent delaying tactic.

"Oh, the president of the Tianhai Association? I never liked that old bastard anyway. He dared to bully my brother," Yang Qi said calmly. "Don’t worry. I’ll send him down to join you."

"You! Are you insane!?" Jin Xing couldn’t believe it. Someone knew his identity and still dared to attack him. What is wrong with this person?

"Insane? The Tianhai Association isn’t enough to drive me crazy." Yang Qi shook his head. A golden light shot out.

Jin Xing’s life ended in Thunder City.

"NO—!" The bald man let out a final roar. "I know you’re powerful, but compared to the Tianhai Association, you are nothing! You will die for this!"

"Noisy." Yang Qi flicked his finger. Flames rolled out, incinerating the bald man on the spot.

He burned Jin Xing’s corpse as well. He had no interest in sending it back; it would be a complete waste of time.

「Meanwhile, at the Chen Family estate.」

A group led by Elder Chen Guo had arrived, accompanied by Ye Feng from the Star Shining Society.

"Chen Guoyuan and Chen Xingye, for Elder Chen Guo’s sake, your lives will be spared," Ye Feng announced. "However, you cannot escape punishment for your crimes. You are hereby banished from the Chen Family. Go now."

Elder Chen Guo took charge of the Chen Family, though he did so reluctantly. His true aspiration was to improve his Medical Skills, and he had no interest in becoming the Family Head. Still, it would be fine. Chen Baixiang was a good candidate for the position. She liked management, was highly educated, and would gain experience over time.

Yang Qi didn’t even show up at the Chen Family residence; there was no need for him to get involved in such matters.

「Not long after.」

News of the gruesome deaths of Jin Xing and his people in Thunder City spread throughout the Martial Arts World and even reached certain business circles.

Everyone was shocked. No one could have imagined that Jin Xing and his men would fall in Thunder City. Those three Elders from the Tianhai Association were terrifyingly powerful. Who could possibly have killed them?

Subsequent investigations only managed to trace the incident back to the Star Shining Society.
