My Mother is the Villain
Chapter 57: Blood
Buzz!
Victor immediately felt a pressure that made it hard for him to breathe.
The pressure seemed to seep into his body, pressing down on every cell—even his power.
He trembled and broke into a cold sweat.
Even his heartbeat pounded so loudly that Alexandra could hear it.
"Are you alright?" Alexandra asked, immediately worried.
"If you have Will Power, release it," she advised.
Will Power would naturally help resist this pressure.
Victor realized the pressure truly came from the three drops of blood.
They weren’t stored in any bottle or container—instead, they floated in the air within the empty room, surrounded by chains of light that seemed to seal their power.
The pressure emitted wasn’t from active power. It came purely from their majestic aura.
If it had been actual power, it might have instantly destroyed Victor.
Victor nodded.
Shua! Shua! Shua!
All five of his Will Powers burst out of his body.
Unlike Alex or William’s, his Will Power took the form of spheres composed of multiple colors, as if several forces were balancing within them.
Form wasn’t important.
Originally, Will Power had no shape—it only took one to be seen.
Quantity was what mattered.
Alexandra was stunned, blinking several times to make sure she wasn’t seeing things.
Five?
There were truly five.
For most people, Will Power could only be obtained at the Sovereign Realm.
Top geniuses could gain it earlier, at the Sage Realm—but even then, only one, with more coming in the Sovereign Realm.
Whether it was Alex or William, they only had two.
Even assuming they were hiding their strength, at most they might have three or four.
Yet Victor had five.
All five empowered him, and his resolve seemed to reach an entirely different level.
The oppressive aura from the three drops of blood was visibly pushed back from his body.
Although it still pressed on him, he already looked much better.
"Victor, stay there!" Alexandra calmed herself from her shock, then one of the three drops of blood moved toward Victor.
"Absorb the emotion of its anger directly. You should be able to do it without touching it," she said.
It was indeed possible, even though in theory one needed to touch the blood.
But this was the blood of a World Monarch. The anger radiated outward. Even a small amount was enormous for Victor—and of the highest quality.
He absorbed it through both his fists, as what mattered was gathering it there.
His other body parts didn’t need it, and absorbing anger elsewhere wouldn’t have good effects.
In just a few moments, his fists began to emit a light of anger mixed with golden radiance.
It was instantly elevated.
His anger advanced toward the Heaven Class. Although it didn’t immediately transform his technique into Heaven Class, Victor could feel that the power of his fists had reached an entirely different level—above Saint level, and possibly even capable of defeating other people’s Heaven Class techniques.
The reason was simple—it was his own technique, fully mastered.
At this moment, all the blood vessels in Victor’s hands emitted a red-gold glow.
The power from his fists began to flow into his body.
"Alexandra, that’s enough," Victor said.
Hearing that, Alexandra sent the blood back to the center of the room and quickly shut the door.
Victor immediately took a deep breath, slowly retracting all his power.
Even though it was brief, it was enough. If it lasted longer, the anger from the World Monarch’s blood would contaminate his entire body.
"How do you feel?" Alexandra asked.
"Very good," Victor replied with a smile.
Next, all that remained was to merge the anger in his fists with a Heaven-Class element—then his fists would evolve into Heaven Class.
It would be a difficult process, but he could seek guidance from Lady Jade Sovereign.
That woman would have to comply—unless she wanted to become someone who broke her own promise.
"Let’s go," Victor said afterward.
"Where?" Alexandra asked, confused.
"How about you show me around the sect? It’s not that I don’t want to go to your room, but I’m worried your father’s consciousness might go berserk," Victor replied, making Alexandra blush.
"Alright..." She nodded lightly.
They then left the castle.
Quite a few people had been worried when Victor entered the castle with Alexandra. Seeing that it didn’t take long, they let out sighs of relief.
But soon after, Victor found something strange.
A young man suddenly approached.
He had white hair—a sign of direct descent from the Holy Light lineage.
However, he looked rather disheveled.
Even the robe he wore had patches, completely different from the others, where even the lowest disciples looked like nobles.
His cultivation was still at the Lord Realm—not bad for his age, but not impressive either.
"Miss, Young Master Russell..." he greeted with a respectful smile.
Then, he looked at Victor.
"Young Master Russell, do you need a servant to assist with simple tasks during your stay here? If you wish, I can do it. I will do anything for you," he said.
Victor finally showed a strange expression.
So there was still someone offering themselves as a servant.
Only, this one lacked quality.
Victor didn’t know whether to feel pleased or not.
"What is your name?" he asked.
"My name is Erick, Erick Holylight," the man replied.
(Victor, he is William’s younger brother.) Alexandra suddenly informed him through telepathy.
Victor was quite surprised.
(It seems there’s quite a difference between them.) he said.
(Their relationship has been bad for a long time. William was gifted with great talent, while Erick was not. And their father, the Sect Master, deeply despises lack of talent. He barely considers Erick his son.) Alexandra explained.
Victor had already expected something like this.
(But it seems this Erick also has great ambition.)
(Perhaps.) Alexandra didn’t like making negative assumptions.
Victor continued looking at Erick while communicating with Alexandra.
He then responded, "I don’t need a servant. Besides, I won’t be here long. But I want to know—can you help me obtain something significant?"
"Victor." Alexandra couldn’t help calling out when she heard that.
She didn’t want any trouble to arise within the sect.
But Victor only responded with a faint smile.
