My Mother is the Villain
Chapter 69: Wrath
Victor clenched his fists, furious beyond measure.
The problem was that he wasn’t used to being the one at a disadvantage.
He was always the one exploiting others.
This kind of situation was supposed to happen only to pitiful reincarnators.
But he wasn’t one of them. He was never destined to become pathetic. He was supposed to be the one causing misery to others.
"Boy, you’d better stop bothering me, or I’ll lock you in here forever, hahaha... Turns out I found something I’ve been searching for. Excellent. Heaven Emperor Academy truly is rich. Now then, how should I celebrate? Should I search for delicious food or sleep with beautiful women?" he said thoughtfully near the end.
Hearing that, Alexandra—who had just appeared—turned pale.
Even as a Heavenly Woman, she wasn’t without jealousy when it came to men, especially a man she liked.
Although she wouldn’t object to whatever Victor himself chose to do, the thought of him sleeping with another woman still shook her.
Of course, it wasn’t really Victor, but the appearance was still his.
Naturally, Alexandra possessed a strong desire to monopolize Victor completely, including his appearance. She didn’t want other women seeing or touching his body.
She knew that with Victor’s face, the Sea Spirit King could probably seduce nearly any young woman whose heart had yet to be tempered.
Alexandra had tried seeing Victor from different perspectives before—even imagining him as an enemy. But even from that angle, she felt she would still be attracted to him.
Victor looked even paler than her.
Rage filled his eyes, yet the Sea Spirit King merely went back to sleep as though nothing was wrong.
However, something happened while Victor was enraged, something even he himself didn’t notice.
The red and gold lines on his fist somehow began merging together.
BANG!
Victor paid no attention to his fist. Driven by anger, he attempted to punch the Sea Spirit King, only to feel as though he had struck powerless water.
Nothing happened.
There was no effect at all.
That only made him even more irritated.
"Victor..." Alexandra called his name softly.
She was suddenly a little afraid to speak to him.
She understood this was truly a situation impossible to control emotionally.
If someone else copied her appearance while she herself was trapped, Alexandra thought she might go insane from anxiety alone.
Victor did nothing else. He simply stood there in silence, consumed by fury.
A dark red aura surged out of him.
It wasn’t the aura of the Tyrannical War Body Merit Law.
That Merit Law couldn’t activate unless he was fighting.
This dark red aura came from his furious heart itself.
After an unknown amount of time—perhaps over an hour—the Sea Spirit King opened his eyes again.
He smiled at Victor.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, he waved his hand. A water mirror formed before them, displaying a beautiful naked woman lying down with flushed cheeks as she glanced to the side.
She had slightly curly black hair.
Victor and Alexandra widened their eyes.
Layla.
It was Layla.
There was no sound, but her expression was clearly one of pleasure, and her mouth was obviously letting out moans.
Her face looked intoxicated.
"I have to admit, boy, you possess quite a bit of charm... This woman clearly didn’t like you before, yet after I entered her room and teased her a little, she didn’t reject me."
Victor, "..."
"Are you insane, Sea Spirit King? How old are you? Yet you’re doing something like this while wearing someone else’s appearance?" Alexandra said with reddened cheeks.
She became angry again, something usually only Carla would dare do.
"What would a little girl like you understand...? So what if I’m old? I’ve been trapped here forever. My mentality changes from time to time. You should be grateful I didn’t sleep with you instead," the Sea Spirit King replied indifferently.
"But if I did that to you, would you reject me? I think you wouldn’t be able to resist this appearance either."
Alexandra, "..."
Her breathing grew uneven.
BANG!
Victor attempted to punch the Sea Spirit King again.
Boom!
This time, his fist suddenly unleashed a terrifying explosion that shook the entire space, spreading violent crimson lightning everywhere.
The crimson lightning ripped the space itself apart.
"Oh..." The Sea Spirit King looked surprised.
DING!
(Your technique has advanced to Heaven Class. You have advanced to the Sovereign Realm!)
Victor received a notification from the System.

(Notification: To advance from the Sovereign Realm to the Great Sovereign Realm, you must also cultivate your body to the Sovereign Realm. However, this rule does not apply to you because your body cultivation automatically follows your cultivation realm. Nevertheless, because of this advantage, your body carries a slight burden due to never truly being tempered naturally, causing Spiritual Energy absorption in this realm to become more difficult for you!)
Victor could only stare in disbelief.
In the end, his own rage had triggered the advancement of his fist technique.
It was a completely unexpected coincidence.
Yet seeing the mirror, his advancement failed to calm him down.
Anger still filled his face.
Layla only looked increasingly lost in pleasure.
The movement of her abdomen showed that she had even begun moving her hips.
"You should be thanking me, boy," the Sea Spirit King said mockingly as he waved his hand.
The water mirror instantly shattered into droplets.
He apparently no longer wished to display it.
"When will you stop?" Victor asked coldly.
There was no way he would thank him.
Even if this had actually been part of the Sea Spirit King’s plan to help his training, he still wouldn’t thank him.
Layla...
If circumstances had led to him sleeping with her himself, he honestly wouldn’t have minded. After all, she really was beautiful. Even if her beauty was below women like Carla or Bella, she still possessed a seductive body.
But the problem was that someone else was doing it while borrowing his appearance.
"Not until the time limit ends. And honestly, there are still other women I want," the king replied.
Victor, "..."
Alexandra, "..."
"Damn it..."
Victor didn’t know what happened after that.
His vision darkened, and he lost consciousness.
He fainted.
He had fainted because his soul had been shaken too violently. Even his willpower had been disturbed.
In truth, this was his body protecting him.
If he hadn’t fainted, continuing to endure those emotions could have shattered his will entirely, causing all of his Will Power to collapse.
Cultivation was also about maintaining one’s heart.
If one failed to do so, their cultivation could crumble.
Victor didn’t know how long he remained unconscious.
It might have been a very long time—until his mind completely stabilized.
But as a Sovereign, the moment he regained consciousness, he could easily estimate the passage of time.
Three months.
Three entire months.
His eyes opened, and the first thing he saw was a familiar ceiling.
Alexandra’s room.
He immediately sat up and took several deep breaths.
His memories had not faded in the slightest.
However, his mind had indeed stabilized.
Three months had passed, and the Sea Spirit King’s actions now felt like nothing more than an unpleasant memory from the past.
Victor looked at his fists.
The red and gold lines were no longer there.
His fists appeared ordinary, yet they concealed boundless power.
Victor didn’t know where Alexandra was. It was around noon now, so she might have gone somewhere.
He entered the bathroom and cleaned himself.
He felt more relaxed after soaking in cold water.
Although his emotions had calmed and the Sea Spirit King’s actions felt like distant history, he still thought about them.
He wondered how many women the king had slept with while wearing his appearance, and how Alexandra had brought him back here.
Had she transported him in her carriage?
Victor couldn’t guess.
He shook his head repeatedly.
Afterward, he returned to the room and put on a loose robe.
He wasn’t in the mood to go outside, so he decided to stay here and wait for Alexandra.
As he sat on the bed, he tried absorbing Spiritual Energy. Only moments later, he frowned.
Just as the System had said, it had become difficult.
It seemed that an overly powerful body made it harder for energy to merge properly after reaching a certain level.
Perhaps for ordinary cultivators, only after completely filling their Spiritual Energy in the Sovereign Realm could they begin advancing their body cultivation into the Sovereign Realm. Even then, most people would become stuck at the peak for years before finally strengthening their bodies enough.
Ten minutes later, after struggling with all his effort, Victor rolled his eyes at the result.
[Spiritual Energy: 5/5,000,000]
[Spiritual Energy Accumulation: 614,005]
It had only increased by five.
Absolutely ridiculous, especially when he needed to gather five million.
Even if he absorbed Spiritual Energy endlessly, it would still take years.
And that was only based on the current difficulty. It might become even harder once his Spiritual Energy increased further.
Victor understood that finding virgin women and relying on the Yin-Yang Mirror was now the only truly effective shortcut available to him.
