Her anger usually faded quickly.

Furious, Jiangg Yao stormed over, pushed her sister away, then pushed Chen Yuan away, and forcefully squeezed herself between them.

"We were just having a normal conversation."

Jiangg Ning’s eyes darted away. She quickly picked up her teacup and took a sip to hide her blush and awkwardness.

Jiangg Yao’s outburst snapped Chen Yuan back to his senses. He suddenly realized how dangerous the situation had just been. He had been unwittingly drawn in by Ningning, completely letting his guard down.

"It’s still raining outside. Doesn’t look like it’s going to stop."

To ease the awkwardness, Chen Yuan stood up and walked over to the balcony window.

Raindrops splattered against the clean glass, leaving trails of water. Fog had already clouded half the pane, and he had to wipe it with his hand to get a decent view of the scene outside. "I don’t care. Chen Yuan is mine, period. I’m blocking you today. As long as I’m here, don’t even think about seducing him like you were just now."
