My Perfect Female CEO
Chapter 1230: Clever Guests
Fire Phoenix and the Butcher went out to greet the three distinguished guests.
After a brief greeting and handshake, Fire Phoenix and Butcher invited the three into the hospital, and the group took their seats.
The accompanying guards stayed outside and didn’t follow inside; this was the President’s decision. The hospital is safe, and to avoid any resentment from Fire Phoenix and the Butcher, it was better to leave them outside.
In fact, Fire Phoenix and Butcher didn’t mind where the guards were at all. However, the careful approach of the three distinguished guests clearly showed they had considered their feelings. This was something they both understood well.
The President, Prime Minister, and Mayor were very pleased with the warm reception from Fire Phoenix and Butcher, genuinely happy. This indicated that their visit was not in vain and they were surely going to reap abundant rewards.
All three guests looked Western, just like the other people in the hospital - typical foreigners.
"Apologies for the abrupt disturbance, we hope you won’t mind," the President began. The other two didn’t interrupt, leaving the conversation entirely to the Prime Minister; they were merely accompanying.
"No disturbance at all, we’re more than glad to have you here," Fire Phoenix smiled politely.
The Butcher spoke straightforwardly: "Since you’ve come here, you must already know that we need help. If you can help us with this small favor, we’ll owe you a debt of gratitude. In future, should you face problems or crises that you can’t resolve, you can turn to us for assistance, free of charge."
"Additionally, as long as it’s within our territory, if your people encounter danger, we can provide protection and appropriate assistance," Fire Phoenix added.
Fire Phoenix and Butcher’s words greatly surprised the three guests, who had never expected to receive such generous rewards.
Of course, this favor was the greatest, but the assistance Fire Phoenix added was equally significant.
The three were overjoyed, unable to contain their smiles.
Without discussing actual actions, just spreading this news would be shocking to all.
At that time, their people involved in actions, encountering difficulties, all these problems would automatically disappear. Being looked after by Fire Phoenix and Butcher, who would dare provoke them?
Provoking them indirectly means provoking Fire Phoenix and Butcher, isn’t this akin to seeking trouble?
"Butcher, your straightforwardness is deeply admirable," the President sincerely said, "Honestly, we’ve employed certain measures and learned from the hospital that one of your people is severely injured and hospitalized, requiring a heart transplant promptly. Before coming here, I’ve already given orders to search for a matching heart. As soon as one is found, I’ll ensure it’s sent to you immediately."
He hid nothing and was straightforward with his words.
Regarding Ye Fan’s identity, although there had been inquiries, the hospital’s information was limited.
He harbored a suspicion in his heart but didn’t speak it out, refraining from discussing the matter of probing the patient’s identity.
His orders to find a suitable matching heart weren’t a lie; he had indeed done so. Regardless of whether Fire Phoenix and Butcher made such an important promise, the opportunity to connect couldn’t be missed; offering help was imperative.
"If that’s the case, then thank you. Should there be good news, please notify us immediately," Fire Phoenix said.
"Definitely, absolutely," the President affirmed.
"If there’s nothing important, may I ask the three of you to quietly leave?" Butcher said. "Your arrival very much caught us by surprise. If any trouble comes our way, may I ask you to help intercept it."
One can imagine, subsequent visits from distinguished guests might be endless.
Among them, there will inevitably be people of unknown origins probing information, so caution is advisable.
"We were inconsiderate, truly sorry. Perhaps this will indeed cause you some trouble. At this moment, that respected patient needs rest and no disturbance," the President seriously said. "I’ll exhaust my efforts to intercept those who want to visit openly; as for those who come covertly, we’ll rely on your efforts."
"You just do what you’re capable of to handle others or forces who insist on coming over; leave it to us," Fire Phoenix said.
"That’s good then; we won’t take up more of your time," the President bid farewell.
Having discussed the matters, there was no need to linger anymore; he sensibly decided to leave.
"We’ll see you off," Fire Phoenix and Butcher stood up, full of courtesy.
"No need, you can stay. We’ll manage on our own," the President asserted.
The President and his companions left.
En route, inside the car surrounded by guards.
The President and his companions kept their gaze fixed on the direction of the hospital, looking continuously; though the car was moving, they twisted around to keep their gaze on the hospital for as long as possible.
An ordinary hospital, at this moment, captivated the attention of the three.
Until the hospital was out of sight, the three then sat upright.
"Couldn’t have imagined Fire Phoenix and Butcher would make such an important commitment providing us massive assistance," the Mayor said excitedly, euphoric, "Compared to our help, the promise they’ve given is so significant, it feels unimaginable."
"You can see from this that the patient’s identity is extraordinary," the President pondered, then spoke, "It seems to be the famed Terminator."
"Indeed, considering how Fire Phoenix and Butcher treat this matter so seriously, not daring to be slack at all, reveals a lot," the Mayor said thoughtfully.
"Such generous terms indicate Fire Phoenix and Butcher’s attention on the patient, not worried we deduce the patient’s identity. In their minds, even our small assistance is a huge help to them," the President observed everything insightfully, wise beyond compare.
"But, a dignified Terminator, how could he get injured, and so severely?" the Mayor queried in confusion.
"Even the best horse occasionally stumbles, no surprise there," the Prime Minister said.
"A dignified Terminator couldn’t possibly get injured; forget this notion, even guessing isn’t allowed," the President solemnly cautioned.
He made it clear, better to forget this, best not to mention.
The Mayor and Prime Minister understood the President’s intent and promptly fell silent.
"Should we seek help from hospitals in other countries for a matching heart? After all, the sooner the better?" the Mayor asked.
"Do it privately; making it widely known would be bad; remember, utmost secrecy," the President emphasized.
