My Scheming Little Devil - Chapter 129: Unreasonable_1
"I’m not feeling well, I got scared and now I’m very dizzy. You guys are responsible for this."
A middle-aged man steps out from the driver’s seat, looking quite upset, "I was driving as slow as a snail. How could I have scared you? And girl, why did you suddenly run out?"
"None of your business. Waaah! You’re even scolding me. You don’t want to take any responsibility." The little girl immediately started to bawl.
Upon seeing this, Ye Lu sighed. She understood. The little girl was clearly trying to play the victim.
"Uncle Yang, let’s let them get in the car. It was our fault, so we should take responsibility." A very youthful voice, low and gentle, which was extremely pleasant, came from the back seat.
Ye Yiyi was suddenly stunned, what a nice voice.
"Let’s go then!" Ye Lu didn’t hesitate, picked up the little girl, and got in the car. Although playing victim wasn’t right, she didn’t want to continue walking either, with such a long road ahead.
Ye Yuan rolled his eyes, mom, you’ve got no principles.
Once inside the car, it was very spacious, like a small compartment. Sitting on the sofa was a young boy around ten years old, wearing a dark grey coat with a deep green scarf around his neck.
Despite his young age, he had an aura of a British gentleman, giving people the impression he was a well-educated, elegant little master.
The little girl’s eyes widened, her heart was pounding, and she couldn’t help but blurt out, "You’re just as beautiful as the moon and flowers."
Uncle Yang nearly tripped as he was getting into the car, almost stumbling into the driver’s seat.
Ye Lu sighed, the little girl’s infatuation was acting up again. Who compliments people like that?
"Yiyi, don’t misuse idioms."
The boy across was slightly taken aback, his handsome little face flushing faintly, as if this was the first time he had been praised in this way. He cleared his throat, and said politely, "Thank you!"
Then he glanced at the little girl again, noticing her eyes unwaveringly staring at him. The blush that had just faded from his face resurfaced, and he quickly averted his gaze.
"Although I do not know much about idioms, I think this one suits you. You are...also very good-looking."
Uncle Yang coughed abruptly, startled. This was the first time the young master had complimented a girl.
"Hehe, I know I am attractive too. I am the most beautiful and adorable little princess." Ye Yi wasn’t embarrassed at all, "But your compliments are useless, you nearly hit me. You scared me to death." She yelled dramatically.
Ye Yuan rolled his eyes again, it was clearly her that ran into the way.
"Hey, girl, you are being unreasonable..." Uncle Yang was frustrated, he was a skilled driver.
"Uncle Yang, let it go!" The young boy waved his hand, his young age bearing quite an authority, and Uncle Yang immediately stopped talking.
The boy looked at Ye Yi again, "We will take you to the hospital to check everything out, get a CT scan, check for concussions, and maybe an x-ray for the rest of your bones!"
The little girl felt nervous, if she went, she would be in so much discomfort.
She somehow felt that this young boy was doing it intentionally.
She quickly waved her hands, "No need, no need, I’m just a bit dizzy and a little scared. I’ll be fine as long as we have a good meal, to calm me down."
"Alright!" The young boy chuckled softly and then told Yang, "Anyway, I didn’t have dinner yet. Let’s go!"
The young master deserved his title, it wasn’t merely a fancy hotel, but an even more luxurious one than that.
Ye Yiyi, feeling satisfied, was holding a baked lobster, eating happily. Her chubby little face full of joy, her tender little mouth smeared with sauce, caught the eye of the young master across from her. He was covering his mouth, chuckling.
