My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!
Chapter 634: When Do You Plan to Marry Me?
"Melody, you look stunning," Jared Quinn’s large hand pulled her body closer to his, making them even more intimate. If he hadn’t been restraining himself, he would have already started tearing off her wedding dress. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
The traditional-style wedding dress had roses spiraling down from the neckline to the hem, and the fluffed-up skirt with diamonds at the train made her look like an elegant princess, indescribably beautiful.
"Alright, take it off now," Jared Quinn released her. He was the first man to see her in a wedding dress, but the second man to see her can’t be just any man.
When his possessiveness flares up, it can be quite frightening.
As they came out of the fitting room, Locke, who was waiting to see, thought his eyes were playing tricks. They came out wearing exactly what they wore going in.
"Didn’t you try it on?"
"We did," Jared Quinn tossed the wedding dress into Locke’s hands. "No alterations needed, just wear this one on the wedding day."
"But I think it needs altering," Melody Thorne disagreed. "I think it should have a bare back, that’s prettier."
Locke wholeheartedly agreed with Melody Thorne’s view.
"Bare back would be nicer."
Jared Quinn shot Locke a warning glance, then turned and whispered a few words into Melody Thorne’s ear, her face turning red with visible speed.
"Do you still want it bare?" Jared Quinn asked softly.
"No, not anymore," Melody Thorne quickly shook her head.
The two left Locke’s studio but did not immediately return to the Quinn Villa but went to a bar instead. It was a place she had visited before, where Jared Quinn met with a few others.
As they pushed the door open, Cole O’Connell, Harold Chapman, Timothy Lockwood, and Leon Rivers were all present. Each of them held a cigarette between their fingers but dared not smoke, as Jared Quinn had warned them not to beforehand because Melody Thorne was expecting a baby.
"Sister-in-law, come sit, sit," Leon Rivers said teasingly, "Brother Jared, is the wedding date set? We’re all waiting."
"I always thought you’d never get married," Cole O’Connell raised his glass slightly.
Everyone in the room laughed. Not only did Cole O’Connell think Jared Quinn would never marry, but they all thought the same, yet he was the first among them to get married.
"We’ll confirm the date with the Seymour Family and let you know."
With that, Jared Quinn’s gaze fell on Cole O’Connell with a playful smile, "What about you guys?"
The room fell silent, and the woman in Cole O’Connell’s arms looked up at the man above, her alluring lips curving up as she chuckled, "Cole, when do you plan to marry me?"
Leon Rivers and the others watched the scene as if they were watching a joke. This woman had been by Cole O’Connell’s side for a year, but no one knew her true identity, and they hadn’t seen her there before.
"Cole, she’s asking you, you should say something," Leon Rivers chimed in, not shying away from the drama.
Cole O’Connell looked down at the woman in his arms, sneering, "I’ve been keeping you for this long, do I really need to marry you? Your future is already in my hands."
As he finished, the room fell silent again. No one had known the woman was kept by Cole O’Connell.
The woman laughed lightly without a care, her hand brushing over the man’s face, "Is that so, brother?"
