My Supernatural Girlfriends Spoils Me Rotten - Chapter 398: New Generation

(Well then. We should get moving. No point sitting around now, right?)

Asher didn't respond right away. His eyes stayed fixed on the horizon.

The calm waves reflected the golden light of a fake sun—one he had made.

Finally, he sighed.

"We're not going anywhere."

Pantheon turned toward him. (What do you mean?)

"I lied."

Asher stood, dusting off his hands.

"This place… we're still trapped inside an isolated space. The real universe is beyond reach.."

(You said R's realm collapsed. That should've broken everything and returned us to the surface layer.)

Asher nodded. "It should have, but it didn't.

He turned and faced the island's empty center, where strange symbols floated faintly in the air—runes that didn't belong to any known language.

"There was another layer over his world, maybe a backup. When it collapsed, it dragged me inside."

Pantheon stood slowly. (Did you try escaping?)

"I tried… but I failed."

Pantheon placed a clawed hand on Asher's shoulder.

(Don't worry. We'll figure it out together.)

(My understanding of space is second to none.)

He gave a small nod, the tension in his shoulders easing just a bit. "Good. I was counting on that."

Asher didn't tell Pantheon the full truth—he hadn't been here for only an hour, but for an entire decade.

Half of that time he searched for an exit. The rest he spent searching for Pantheon.

He kept it to himself so his partner wouldn't lose hope

To the Dragon, Asher was at the pinnacle of existence—the strongest being in the universe.

'Hopefully, time moves slower here…'

BOOOOOM!

A massive explosion rocked the entire stadium deep within the capital.

Cheers erupted as the annual Competition began, a grand event to showcase young talent from across the world.

Millions gathered in the city to witness the spectacle, more than in any previous year.

One reason for the massive crowd was now fighting in the arena.

It was a boy with black hair and red eyes, holding a blood-red sword.

He looked no older than sixteen, yet faced a six-armed veteran demon warrior

The veteran moved first, trying to crush the opponent with raw strength.

But the boy was already gone.

Too fast.

He weaved through the strikes like he could see the future.

When his opponent overreached, the boy struck.

With a single swing, his blade cut clean through one of the arms.

There was no pause.

He moved again—one strike, then another.

Each swing connected until every arm was severed.

Blood sprayed across the arena floor, but the boy's expression never changed.

The crowd erupted in cheers at his dominant display.

"ASH! ASH! ASH!"

The name echoed through the stadium—loud, unified, unstoppable.

It wasn't only the performance that stirred them—it was the name.

Ash Aurelius.

Son of Queen Lucy Aurelius.

And the heir of the Demon World's Overlord—Asher.

'I hate all this attention. It's just a fight ' he sighed, making his way out of the arena and toward the fighters' den.

The noise of the cheering crowd faded behind him.

Halfway down the corridor, a figure leaned casually against the wall.

This one had black and purple hair, a matching violet-black horn that curved magnificently from his forehead, gleaming faintly under the dim hallway lights.

"You keep this up, and you might actually land third place when the competition ends," the figure said with a smirk.

Ash's mood soured instantly. "I didn't ask for your opinion, Ashley. And don't forget—I'm older than you,"

"Oh, but that's only by a few days," Ashley replied with a smug grin. "And you should not really act like the big brother when you're the weakest."

Ash clenched his fist. The one person he couldn't stand was his half brother—the son of the Dragon Queen.

Hailey herself was sweet and easy to talk to. She treated all of them fairly, never showing favoritism.

But Ashley—having inherited both sides of dragon blood—carried himself with pride and arrogance .

Still, Ash endured it.

Because no matter how much he disliked him, Ashley's strength was the real deal.

"Big bro, did I hurt your feelings? Sorry about that. It's just hard to stay humble when you've got this much talent and potential. Not that you'd know what that feels like… so yeah, I get it."

"Ashley… don't let arrogance get to your head. You're of royal blood—so act with dignity."

The young dragon only smiled as he walked past.

"Big bro, that obsession with royalty and status… that's exactly why you're so weak."

"You should be more like Father. He didn't care about titles—only power. And I've got all of it."

"ASHLEY!"

A burst of blood-red aura erupted from Ash's body, shaking the hallway.

Two red horns began to materialize on his head—faintly curved, still forming.

They lacked the size and elegance of his young brother's, but they were as intimidating.

"You two, don't fight!"

A sweet, high-pitched voice echoed through the corridor.

From the distance, a tiny girl no larger than a fist fluttered into view—delicate wings buzzing as she hovered midair, her cheeks puffed in a pout.

"Brother Ashley! You're always bullying Brother Ash! You meanie!"

"And you're always taking his side," Ashley shook his head before walking away.

"Stupid Brother! I hope you lose. Bleehhh!" she stuck out her tongue, wings buzzing as she hovered in place, arms crossed in full dramatic pout mode.

This tiny girl was their youngest sister—Ashire, daughter of the Fairy Queen Mirelyn.

Despite her size, she carried a beauty said to be unmatched.

She had rainbow-colored wings and glossy, multi-colored hair from her mother, while her facial features came from her father.

But beyond her looks, she also carried a powerful bloodline—just like her brothers.

Rumors claimed she was the second strongest among the siblings.

Author's Note:You're probably wondering why the story suddenly jumped to MC's children.

Don't worry, this isn't some Boruto situation where the kids suddenly become the main characters.

Asher's been stuck in that isolated place for a long time, and while he was busy trying to escape, I figured it was a good time to show you what's been going on while he's been out of the picture.

This way, it doesn't feel like the whole world just magically froze in time, waiting for the main character to return like nothing happened.
