My Supernatural Girlfriends Spoils Me Rotten - Chapter 405: New Generation 8
"Why are you doing this? You already defeated my son. There's no need to insult him."
"I'm not insulting him. I'm teaching him a lesson."
"You don't have the right to do that!" Hailey's tone grew louder
The arena seemed to hold its breath. Defeating Ashley was one thing, but standing before the Queen of Dragons—a being who could end him in an instant—was beyond insane.
"I don't have the right?" He reached for the edges of his robe.
The crowd, Hailey, and the other queens all leaned forward, curious to see the face behind the veil.
Slowly, he unfurled his hood. Light and shadow twisted around him, revealing an extremely handsome man with black hair and eyes.
"Asher!"
"Darling!"
The queens' voices echoed in perfect unison.
It took them a moment to process what was happening, but when he smiled and they felt his real aura, all doubt vanished.
Lucy and Mirelyn soared toward him, embracing him in the air.
"Asher, I missed you," Lucy cried. Mirelyn remained silent, pressing close, inhale deep and steady, letting herself feel the presence she had longed for all this time.
Meanwhile, Ashley, Ash, and Ashmae were stunned. They had only heard of him through their mothers' stories, but seeing him in person was totally different.
They did not even knew what to say, or what to do.
Sensing their mixed feelings, Asher snapped his fingers.
Instantly, everything in the arena returned to normal, as if time itself had reversed. Even Ashley's wounds vanished.
"This place is too public. Let's talk at home," he snapped his fingers again. In an instant, he teleported his entire family to the castle.
They landed in the throne room so fast that the three children barely had time to react. They felt foolish for ever thinking they were truly powerful.
This was real power—snapping a finger and bending reality itself.
Comparing them to their father was like comparing an ant to a full-grown human—but even that understated Asher's true power.
"Darling?" Hailey didn't waste a second, wrapping him in a hug and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Did you complete your mission? Where is Index?"
Asher's face turned serious. "I haven't saved her yet. And… what you're touching right now is just a projection. My real body is trapped somewhere."
The revelation shocked them.
"What do you mean?" Lucy asked.
Asher didn't want to deliver the bad news, but he had no choice.
"A lot happened while I was gone. For you, it's only been a few years, but for me, decades have passed."
"Long story short, Because of where I am now, only my consciousness could pass through. From that, I built this new body and can control it remotely."
The room feel into complete silence.
"Then how can you escape? Tell us—maybe we can help," Lucy pressed.
Asher smiled and patted her hair. "This is actually why I came back here first. I have a theory that could pull me out of this place, and I'll need the help of my children."
He turned his attention to them, and they unconsciously lowered their heads.
They didn't know how to act or speak around him. Ashley, especially, felt deeply embarrassed after what had happened in the arena.
Asher also understood it would be hard for them to act normal, since he had been absent while they were growing up.
And if he was honest, he didn't know how to act like a father either.
"You don't have to be so tense. I won't eat you," he joked, trying to lighten the mood.
But when they remembered how he had beaten Ashley, his words were hard to believe.
Most fathers might scold their children—or maybe even strike them lightly—but he literally beat the living hell out of his own son.
In his defense, he had held back and remained in complete control, but from an outsider's perspective, his strikes were strong enough to kill.
Hearing no response from them, he cleared his throat. "First, let me thank you three. You're actually the reason I was able to send my consciousness back."
This caught their attention, and they waited for him to continue.
"Back in that place, I couldn't leave. No matter what I did, I couldn't sense any frequency or energy outside it's space. But after a few decades, I felt it… your energies, your presence, and your souls resonated with me." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
"I realized I could use it as a guide," he continued. "Your energies became my anchor point."
Ashmae's eyes welled up.
"Father!" she squealed, darting through the air and clinging to him like a little magnet.
All the longing she tucked away for so long spilled out in that instant.
The other two boys felt the same urge, but they simply smiled, knowing it would feel unmanly to cling to him in the same way.
Asher gently patted her head.
"I'm sorry for being away while you were growing up," he was genuinely guilty because he too knew the feeling of being abandoned .
She hugged him tighter and shook her head. "I don't mind at all, Father. I'm just happy you're here now."
He smiled, feeling a little relieved, and ruffled her hair playfully. For the first time in decades, the weight of isolation felt a little lighter in that moment.
This was what he had missed while selfishly chasing his goal of saving Index—never stopping to consider that he had left behind his wives and unborn children.
It made his heart ache, and R's words echoed in his mind again.
Should he risk everything and put the entire universe in danger… or simply live his life to the fullest and move on?
What if R was right? Was he really willing to risk the lives of the entire universe—his children's world included?
"Asher, are you alright?" Lucy's voice pulled him out of his thoughts.
"I'm fine," he replied, forcing a smile.
However, the three queens could see through him.
"Are you hiding something from us?"
