"Let me get you something to eat."

With that, she got out of bed and began walking toward the door.

As she moved away, Denzel watched her leave.

She glanced back over her shoulder and chuckled softly.

Denzel smirked.

"Go on. Be quick, or there’ll be some punishment waiting for you."

And then she smiled.

Her cheeks were still faintly flushed as she turned away.

She placed what was left of her robe down properly on her exposed body, then stepped back and walked out of the room. The door closed softly behind her.

For a moment, she remained just outside, and faint chuckles escaped her as she seemed amused by her own thoughts.

Inside the room, Denzel watched her leave.

But as his gaze drifted sideways, something suddenly caught his attention.
