My Talent's Name Is Generator
Chapter 997: Treasures
I stepped onto the central pathway alone while the old man, Knight, and Lyrate remained behind, and the moment I crossed a certain point, the treasury around me changed.
The endless drifting orbs began slowing.
The cosmic void darkened slightly while the crystal path beneath my feet stretched infinitely forward, and one by one, several orbs detached themselves from the countless galaxies surrounding the treasury before drifting toward me.
Five of them stopped ahead of me.
The moment they did, information flooded directly into my mind.
The first orb was silver-black in color, its galaxy slow and almost dead-looking, countless faded stars drifting within it like remnants of something abandoned long ago.
And the moment I focused on it, I understood.
[Null Realm Key]
A single-use authority key capable of opening passage into the Null Realm. The place where souls drift after death before being forcefully claimed by the Eternals.
The orb pulsed once more and deeper understanding entered my mind. The Null Realm was a specific world. It was a boundary.
A place between endings and continuations where dead souls gathered endlessly. Entering it normally was impossible below God rank, and even gods avoided interfering with it directly.
But this key bypassed those restrictions. It would allow me one direct entry into the Null Realm itself.
My chest tightened slightly after that. What the old man had said was true. The treasury really could determine my deepest desire. And my deepest desire was to reach my parents’ souls.
With this key, I could finally do that.
I still didn’t know what the Null Realm truly was, what it looked like, what existed there, or what dangers waited within it. But none of that mattered. If there was even a chance my parents were there, then I would enter it no matter the risk.
The second orb floated closer afterward. It was golden-blue in color. Unlike the others, the galaxy inside this orb didn’t rotate violently. Instead it remained calm, layered with enormous protective structures made from light.
[Blue Spiral Boundary Token]
A large-scale territorial artifact.
When activated, it would establish an absolute defensive boundary around the Blue Spiral Galaxy, halting further expansion of the Crimson Zone into its territory for a fixed duration measured in universal cycles.
It was not a temporary defense but absolute denial and permanent in nature. The token would anchor itself into reality itself once activated, forcing even large-scale cosmic corruption to stop expanding through the protected galaxy.
I immediately understood how valuable it truly was. The Crimson Zone had been spreading endlessly for ages. This could stop it.
"Did this treasury really create it just for my galaxy?" I muttered. It almost felt as if they had known beforehand that I would come here... and ask for a way to defend against the Crimson Zone.
I looked to my right and the third orb drifted toward me slowly afterward. It was completely dark.
The galaxy inside it no longer existed properly. It had collapsed inward into a single spinning black rune floating at the center.
The moment I perceived it, pressure flooded through my soul.
[Fragment of a Dead God’s Foundation]
A remnant left behind from a true God-ranked existence after complete death.
It was not their power but the foundation. The rune represented a fragment of what once allowed a being to ascend into godhood itself. It could not currently be used, understood, or integrated.
Activation conditions:
→ Reach Demi-God Rank
→ Survive Foundation Synchronization
Failure probability remained unknown.
But if successful the fragment would permanently alter the structure of my future divinity and existence itself immensely increasing the probability of reaching the God Rank.
I smiled faintly at that.
The fourth orb approached afterward, and immediately the surrounding space distorted around it unnaturally. The galaxy inside this one continuously disappeared and reappeared as though reality itself couldn’t fully lock onto it.
[Fateless Body]
An existence-altering physical reconstruction treasure. Upon use, the user’s body would partially exit the systems of fate, causality, and predictive interference.
The treasury fed more information directly into me afterward. Future sight would weaken around me. Cause and effect manipulation would struggle to influence me. Fate-based attacks, curses, destiny chains, and certain divine authorities would lose effectiveness entirely.
The downside of such a body would fundamentally separate me from universal order itself. The treasury considered this treasure extremely dangerous and I could understand why.
And finally the fifth orb floated toward me.
This one looked almost alive. The galaxy inside it expanded continuously without limit, stars endlessly multiplying while the spiral itself kept growing outward forever.
[Limitless Soul Seed]
An origin soul evolution treasure. When integrated, the user’s soul would permanently lose upper potential limitations. Growth capacity would become theoretically infinite. There would no longer exist a final ceiling to soul evolution. The treasury sent another wave of understanding afterward. Normally, all souls possessed limits, potential ceilings.
Fixed limits determined by origin and existence. This treasure destroyed that concept entirely. I stared at the five orbs floating before me quietly while the treasury remained silent around us.
Then the final burst of information came from the treasury.
I could not take everything.
The fourth treasure alone demanded almost all my authority access.
The fifth demanded even more.
Taking either Fateless Body or the Limitless Soul Seed would prevent me from claiming anything else.
The treasury had already decided that much.
I stood there for a long moment.
The Fateless Body would make me nearly impossible to control in the future.
The Soul Seed...
That thing was terrifying.
Infinite potential.
Yet despite both of them my attention kept returning elsewhere. The remaining three treasures could be taken at once.
It was like all of it was predecided. I sighed and made my decision.
"I’ll take these three."
The treasury reacted immediately.
The first orb drifted forward slowly before dissolving into silver-black light and entering my soul space directly, where the Null Realm Key stabilized quietly beside my soul.
The second followed.
Golden-blue light spread through my soul world before condensing into the Spiral Boundary Token, immense protective pressure radiating from it even while dormant.
And finally the black orb moved.
The moment it touched me, pain exploded through my soul for a brief instant as the black rune buried itself deep within the center of my existence before going completely dormant.
The remaining two orbs lingered in front of me for a few seconds longer. Then slowly drifted away back into the endless treasury.
