My Tribrid System: More than a Monster
Chapter 277 - 275
Chapter 275
Blood could be seen rolling down Ray’s hands as he held the scythe firmly in place, refusing to allow it to slice his body in two.
Gritting his teeth with pure, rageful determination, he forced the scythe downward with all his might.
Bang! BOOOM!
The heavy limb tore through the earth binding around the Tribrid’s legs, sending chunks of stone flying into the air and freeing him for a moment.
He smirked at the beast, which was currently staggering due to the sudden, forced change of its trajectory.
Ray didn’t waste a single second more as he dashed forward.
He twisted his hip, his right fist drawn back like a coiled spring, while his left arm cut through the wind to balance his weight.
Then, with a determined yell, he swung the fist forward with all his might, bashing it directly into the Earth Shaker’s face.
Booom—!
The ground rumbled loudly as the beast’s head was thrown violently to the side.
Ray wasn’t about to let the creature breathe; he immediately swung his second fist, sending it crashing against the monster’s face.
From there, the boy delved into a furious flurry of punches that hammered into the beast with each passing second of rage that coursed through his body.
Each hit carried the force of a heavy sledgehammer, possessing the strength to split a boulder in two.
The terrain shuddered with every single crash of the boy’s knuckles against the Earth Shaker’s face.
Fractures lined the surface of the earth like slithering snakes, just a second away from exploding outwardly.
An uppercut from the Tribrid swung the beast’s head upward for a split second, but that brief moment of rest was enough for the monster to turn the tables.
Swinging its head back down, the beast’s snapped horn crashed into the Tribrid’s head with terrifying strength.
The sharp impact tore a deep line across the boy’s temple, seeping blood out immediately.
Gritting his teeth, he swung his fist upward and smashed the horn away, sending the beast’s head flinging to the side as more cracks appeared on the already damaged horn.
Before he could steady himself for another attack, the beast’s scythe crashed into his side, tearing through his uniform in that area, lifting him clean off his feet, and hurling him across the clearing.

He went bouncing and ricocheting across the rough terrain filled with sharp earthen spikes before he clenched his jaw tightly.
Ray landed in a roll and used one hand to stop himself from sliding further on the rough floor, drops of blood falling from the top of his head while fury ignited in his cold, gray eyes.
[Thunder Step Activated]
BANG!
Before the beast could even think of moving, lightning had already arced around the boy’s legs, unleashing him forward in a flash that allowed him to close the distance between them in the blink of an eye.
The Earth Shaker’s scythe flew toward him, but he didn’t derail his movements, allowing the limb to get close.
[Static Shroud Activated]

[MF: 0/130]
A surge of blue lightning crackled across the battlefield, snaking around Ray’s frame like a living storm.
It danced across his body, casting his figure in flashes of violent brilliance, raw power crackling with each breath he took.
It surrounded him like a thin barrier, then died down in brilliance the next second as if losing power.
The moment the scythe passed through the barrier, the lightning lit up with a bright cadence, as if breathing and stirring awake.
The elemental energy surged fiercely across the scythe, and almost immediately, the beast let out a piercing screech of pain as it shuddered violently while remaining rooted to the exact same spot.
Pffffff—!
Ray used that crucial opportunity to vault upward, hovering above the beast that was still shaking violently but looked as though it was right on the verge of breaking out of the paralysis effect of the skill.
The bright light around the boy’s frame dimmed back down, leaving only a few residual sparks fizzling erratically around his body.
He looked down at the creature’s massive form, zeroing in on the deep fractures running across its supposedly sturdy armor.
[Holy Blast Orb Activated]
A bright, swirling orb of concentrated light appeared around the boy’s hand as he pointed it downward at the creature’s body.
BANG!
The orb launched forward with lightning speed.
Within a mere second, it crashed directly into the pre-existing cracks on the Earth Shaker’s carapace.
A brilliant explosion of light consumed the entire area for a few moments, the beast letting out another loud scream of agony as sections of its heavy shell exploded outward into the air, accompanied by a heavy flow of dust that served as its blood.
[HP: 10/100]
’One last strike...’
His thoughts were abruptly interrupted as the beast, driven by pure survival instinct, swung its second scythe toward him with blazing momentum.
But just like the time before, the moment the limb crossed the perimeter, the sleeping lightning crackling around the youth’s frame stirred awake.
The titan shivered in tremendous pain as the electricity arced through it, leaving it paralyzed in the exact same spot once more, entirely unable to move.
Blood dribbled down Ray’s lips as he pointed his hand down toward the target again.
Kicking the air beneath his feet, he spun around like a broken arrow while a second orb of light rapidly materialized around his palm.
The sheer intensity of the energy made it look as if he were holding a miniature sun in his hand as he dove straight down at the immobilized monster.
Though the creature couldn’t move its body, its head still turned slowly toward the falling boy descending from the sky like a harbinger of death, gripping a holy ball of light in his fist.
"Goodbye."
BANG—! BOOOOM—!
The night sky was illuminated with another bright flash of light as the ground trembled and thundered as if a massive earthquake was about to erupt.
Bursting outward in every direction were heavy chunks of earth, while the beast’s colossal body was literally blown apart into fragments of rock and stone.
Thud!
Ray crashed onto the earth with a loud sound, his chest rising and falling in steady, ragged waves as the adrenaline finally began to fade.
Then, dozens of overlapping chimes and digital dings went off inside his mind almost immediately.
[Ding!]
[King-rank beast defeated....]
