"My Enma Kōrogi has a weakness?" Tosen scoffed, clearly not believing a word of it.
"Since you’re so confident, let me bring you back down to earth." Shin raised an eyebrow.
"<Gran Rey Cero!>"
The attack he instantly fired shattered the entire barrier. With the barrier broken, Enma Kōrogi’s Bankai was immediately dispelled.
"Against an opponent of similar strength, you’re indeed very strong. But against an opponent whose power vastly outstrips your own, you’re utterly helpless."
Shin had no regard for Tosen. Though his Enma Kōrogi seemed powerful, with such a glaring weakness, Shin had no interest in even copying it.
"HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?"
Tosen was still in a daze.
"Now, take me to Aizen. I don’t want to waste any more time on you. And I hope you all know what’s good for you and don’t make things difficult for me."
Shin spoke calmly.
Though his words were calm, they carried an unquestionable authority. With the Espada lying on the ground, Tosen in a state of shock, and only Gin remaining, who would dare to object? His intuition told him that if he did, he would be instantly killed by Shin.
"I’ll take Shin-sama to see Aizen-sama right away." Though Gin still had a smile on his face, his expression was incredibly grave. Shin Uzumaki was terrifyingly powerful.
But then Gin thought, no matter how strong Shin Uzumaki was, it wasn’t his problem. It had nothing to do with him.
At that thought, a smile appeared on Gin’s face. It wasn’t his problem; Aizen could have the headache. Let Aizen deal with it. This was a good thing. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
It didn’t matter what Shin Uzumaki thought of him. For now, Gin would consider him a friend. And if this powerhouse could keep his distance from Rangiku Matsumoto, all the better.
"Gin Ichimaru, what are you doing?"
Hearing Gin’s words, Tosen snapped out of his shock and pointed his Zanpakuto at Gin, seemingly about to attack him. The reason was simple: Gin seemed to be surrendering to Shin Uzumaki. In his eyes, Gin was about to become a traitor, so Tosen’s attitude towards Gin was very hostile.
A cold glint flashed in Gin’s eyes. He and Tosen were not on the same path. Gin had even considered getting rid of Tosen, but he decided against it to avoid arousing Aizen’s suspicion.
What Gin didn’t know was that he had been on Aizen’s radar from the very beginning. No matter how he disguised himself, it was useless. The only reason Aizen kept Gin around was out of a twisted curiosity to see what he would try to pull.
To be honest, Aizen was incredibly arrogant. But now, with Shin here, Aizen’s personality would likely change a bit. The arrogant Aizen in the original story was because he couldn’t find a worthy opponent. Even Head Captain Yamamoto, at that time, Aizen didn’t take too seriously.
And it turned out, Aizen did manage to deal with Head Captain Yamamoto. A single Arrancar, Wonderweiss, was enough to neutralize the old man completely. Of course, if Yamamoto had unleashed his Bankai from the very beginning, Aizen would have been in for a world of hurt, Hogyoku or not.
The Yamamoto of the past would stop at nothing to defeat his enemies. If it were that Yamamoto, no matter how strong Aizen was, he probably wouldn’t have been able to cause much trouble. But the current Yamamoto had too many inhibitions. Perhaps his strength hadn’t diminished with time, but he had become indecisive. Sometimes, he was too cautious, which was why he suffered at Aizen’s hands.
"You should lie down for now."
Shin glanced at Tosen, then a flash of sword light cut through the air. Tosen instantly fell to the ground, critically injured and on the verge of death.
"He’s just a captain, after all." Shin didn’t even look at Tosen, just glanced at Gin Ichimaru.
Gin, being smart, understood Shin’s meaning from a single glance and immediately led the way, intending to take Shin to Aizen. As for the fallen Espada, neither Shin nor Gin paid them any mind. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

"Captain Shin, you’ve arrived."
When they reached Las Noches, Aizen was already there waiting for Shin. He knew that with the strength of those guys, it was impossible to stop Shin.
But Aizen had wanted to learn more about Shin’s strength. Unfortunately, he was disappointed. Shin hadn’t revealed much of his power at all. Though he had used Gin’s Zanpakuto, Shinsō, and Starrk’s Los Lobos, the strength he had shown was clearly not enough.
And Aizen was considering more things. Since he had Shinsō, his own Kyōka Suigetsu, and Tōshirō Hitsugaya’s Hyōrinmaru, did that mean he also had Head Captain Yamamoto’s Ryūjin Jakka?
Ryūjin Jakka was hailed as the strongest fire-type Zanpakuto. To this day, Aizen had never truly witnessed its power. Because Head Captain Yamamoto rarely acted. Aizen had never seen him fight, only knew that he was very strong.
If Ryūjin Jakka were simply in Yamamoto’s hands, Aizen wouldn’t consider it a major threat. But if Shin also had Ryūjin Jakka, that threat would be immense. Aizen had no way to deal with it now.
So, if he couldn’t eliminate him, the next best thing was to not make an enemy of him.
Against such an invincible existence, Aizen really didn’t want to become Shin’s enemy. If they could cooperate, that would be for the best.
"Aizen-sama, I was no match for Shin-sama," Gin said to Aizen.
"Gin, I don’t blame you." Aizen had a smile on his face, not blaming Gin in the slightest.
But Gin couldn’t relax. He knew Aizen well enough—the man could turn on you in an instant. Though Aizen appeared gentle now, Gin knew it was all an act. He understood the coldness in Aizen’s core all too well.
"Captain Shin, why not join us in Hueco Mundo? I would even be willing to make you its king," Aizen said to Shin.
To win Shin over, Aizen was willing to give up Hueco Mundo. Of course, he was definitely not happy about it. But once his Hogyoku was complete, he could turn on Shin. By then, Aizen would be confident.
Now, the Hogyoku was only a half-finished product, not yet complete. So Aizen wanted to keep Shin stable and prevent him from doing anything that would be detrimental to him.
"You’re really willing?" Shin asked Aizen.
"For anyone else, I might not be. But for Captain Shin, I am more than willing to hand over Hueco Mundo," Aizen said bluntly.
"Hahaha, Aizen, I know you. Your ambition is far greater than you let on," Shin said with a laugh.
"I have no interest in Hueco Mundo. I’m actually here for something else. I was just wondering... how’s that little Hogyoku project of yours coming along?"
Shin asked Aizen with a smile, his grin never faltering, as if he hadn’t noticed Aizen’s face turning ice-cold.
